The Minnesota state government shut down in July, closing state parks on a normally busy holiday weekend, because of a $5 billion "budget deficit." At least 10 states have expanded gambling options for casinos, inviting more mobsters into their streets, again because of "budget deficits," which they blame on the weak economy. However, it's not "deficits" but states hiding money that causes this pain. Minnesota's shutdown threw thousands of state employees out of work. Construction projects stalled. Millions of dollars in state revenues were lost. But Minnesota had $2.9 billion hidden from taxpayers in fiscal 2010, which ended June 30.
Assets exceeded liabilities by $10.9 billion. Another $2.9 billion in "unrestricted net assets" were hidden from public view.
What all states are not saying is they have plenty of bucks salted away, but you aren't supposed to know that. Each year, all state and local governments prepare a financial report on assets, liabilities, revenues and expenditures called the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, or CAFR. You read about the budget and how your tax dollars are supposed to be spent in your local newspaper, but you don't read about money hidden in the CAFR, because America's controlled media hides these important facts.
CAFRs combine the financial reports of government agencies at all levels. They report all government funds, including those held outside the government treasury. It cites amounts owed the government but not received by the end of the fiscal year. It contains information on real property and other fixed assets and long-term obligations held outside the government treasury.
Walter Burien, a former commodity trader and leading authority on CAFRs, claims that state governments are sitting on more than $600 billion worth of assets. And that's just the states. When you tally up the holdings of all 85,000 local, state and federal governments, the value of all of the assets comes to about $60 trillion, says Burien.
"Being that the CAFR is the accounting document for every local government, and with it effectively being blacked out for the last 60 years, this intentional omission of coverage is the biggest conspiracy that has ever taken effect in the United States," said Burien. It's "the biggest game in town."
Alan Greenspan, a Bilderberg luminary, got it right years ago when he testified as chairman of the privately owned and controlled Federal Reserve before a Senate Committee: "I'm of the old fiscal school that you raise revenues for basic government purposes and if you don't have those purposes you give the money back or you don't tax it. . . . Private rates of return are significantly higher than the government rates of return."
The good news is that, thanks to the Internet, it is becoming increasingly difficult for governments to bury their assets. A quick search on the Internet turned up thousands of websites dedicated to exposing CAFRs.

Imagine a world where all privacy has been eliminated, where none of your own personal thoughts can be protected, and where Big Brother can modify your thinking electronically without you even realizing it. A nightmarish future like that would be much worse than the surveillance society described in George Orwell's book 1984. In an ultra high-tech electronic police state, there would be no place to run and no place to hide.
More than half a century ago, the CIA started working on covert mind control technology. One of the earliest of the CIA's secret behavioral control programs was known as Project Artichoke. According to The New York Times on Aug. 2, 1977, the scope of this project was summarized in a CIA memorandum dated Jan. 25, 1952 wherein CIA officials wanted "the evaluation and development of any method by which we can get information from a person against their [sic] will and without his knowledge."
The memo also asked if they could "get control of an individual to the point where he will do our bidding against his will and even against such fundamental laws of nature as self-preservation."
On April 13, 1953 Project Artichoke grew into a super-secret project called MK-ULTRA that was overseen by Dr. Sidney Gottlieb, who Counterpunch called a "pusher, assassin, pimp and U.S. official poisoner." In his well-known book The Search for the Manchurian Candidate,* author John Marks wrote, "The agency's brainwashing experts gravitated to people more in the mold of the brilliant—and sometimes mad—scientist, obsessed by the wonders of the brain." Gottlieb's boss at the CIA was the notorious Christian Zionist James Angleton.
Government scientists have been busy over the years. The powerful neuroscience-based mind-control systems that were developed can also be called radio-frequency weapons, non-lethal weapons, EMR weapons (electromagnetic radiation weapons), or psychotronic weapons. To develop these instruments, innocent civilians were targeted and experimented on without their consent.
According to Cheryl Welsh, an internationally recognized non-lethal weapons expert: "From the 1950s to the 1970s, victims were predominantly the powerless, the poor and prisoners. Today, victims include all walks of life: Men, women, young and old, especially whistle blowers, activists and foreigners."
As the Zionists tighten their grip on the world, the use of sinister super-technology is becoming more widespread. Similarly, the number of people speaking out against it is also dramatically increasing. In the second half of the last decade, a number of excellent books have been written on the subject of covert electronic mind control.
The authors of these books are doctors and scientists, former political activists, dissidents and prisoners. The very thought that the powers-that-be are using ultra high-tech, mind-bending science against innocent, law-abiding people is appalling, especially when the ultimate goal is to completely conquer the human mind.
Such a future should make the average thinking person quite uneasy. It should even trigger a strong determination to resist.
It should also make people realize that unless these madmen are stopped, they will eventually unleash this horrific, science-gone-mad weaponry on everyone and turn the entire planet into a living psychotronic hell.

When Colorado attorney Robert T. McAllister surrendered his law license early last month, more red flags went up in the minds of Edgar Steele's supporters regarding McAllister's questionable court defense presented in the Steele case in Idaho only a month earlier.
On June 6 in Denver, McAllister waived his right to a hearing, presumably to avoid further exposure, embarrassment and potential civil or criminal litigation, and voluntarily accepted disbarment.
The court's action arose from McAllister's misuse of client funds on at least two recent occasions amounting to over $105,000 being transferred to his own bank accounts without those clients' permission. This harsh action by the court evolved from a previous censure and discipline in 2004 for similar infractions that dated back nearly a decade. At that time the court ordered McAllister to pay back more than $160,000 and attend the Bar Association's ethics school because the "respondent violated his duty of honesty to his clients."
Now, many want to know if McAllister, harboring this longtime character flaw that the ethics school failed to remedy, might have also had "his palms crossed with silver" by federal prosecutors in the high-profile Steele case. In this modern era where behind-the-scenes corruption so easily trumps integrity, such an assumption does not require an outrageous imagination anymore.
Over the past year AFP has exposed little-known statutes that allow federal courts to present cash awards of $10,000 to $25,000 to prosecution witnesses—the amount paid being in direct proportion to how much that particular testimony contributed to a conviction.
Nothing is awarded in the event of an acquittal. So the question looms: If such highly unfair payoffs are available and are paid in undisclosed amounts to witnesses who help secure a conviction, just how much of a stretch does it take for even more to be pushed under the defense table to the chief counsel in order to ensure a prosecution victory?
The courtroom performance of Grant Cooper, Sirhan Sirhan's chief attorney in 1970, reeked of such duplicity when he failed to recognize that the serial number presented by the ballistics expert identifying the murder weapon that killed Sen. Robert Kennedy was not the same as the number on Sirhan's revolver. Two accounts of the RFK conspiracy are provided in Everything They Ever Me Told Was a Lie and New World Order Assassins.*
When examining McAllister's deficiency in the Steele case, it begins with the indictment. Count one accuses Steele of "using interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder for hire."
The entire four-count indictment should have been defeated before trial because Congress changed the wording of 18 USC 1958 in 2004, and its jurisdictional reach now extends to the exclusive intrastate use of a facility of interstate commerce, including defendant Steele's alleged use of a telephone in this case. Under the previous version of this statute, Steele could not have been charged federally because no calls were alleged to have been made across state lines.

As part of a program authorized by Congress, the federal government is increasingly compelling power companies in the United States to install "smart meters" that transmit data on power consumption directly to the government and to any other party that chooses to purchase it. Often, this data is converted by the power company into a detailed breakdown of electricity usage, showing when you are home, when you run major appliances like a stove or dryer and when you turn your lights on and off.
This information gives anyone accessing it a profile of what you do when you are at home.
Utility provider records are the primary means by which private
data on individuals is collected and sold in the information
market. Websites that promise they will "help you find anyone"
are often dependent on utility databases, primarily electric,
water, gas and phone, which are compiled in conjunction with
public real estate, tax and court records to create profiles
of an individual. Utility records are particularly useful in
locating individuals who rent, rather than own, property.
These records are also already available to the government. The FBI and other law enforcement agencies are major purchasers of personal data on American citizens, all of which is provided on contract through private companies to avoid the few remaining U.S. laws limiting federal intrusions on privacy.
Federal subpoena power and congressionally authorized "national security letters" are often used to obtain a variety of more detailed data from utility providers, including cell phone triangulations and, at times, power usage. The law on power usage derived from efforts to investigate marijuana growers, who utilize large amounts of power in secret greenhouses to provide lights for their plants and who often use magnets to tamper with meter readings to conceal their activities.
Smart meters, though, differ from regular mechanical readers in that they provide a continuous stream of data to a central database, giving meter readings at different times and noting substantial changes in power usage. A person asleep with the lights out, for instance, uses less power than one awake with the lights on. Dryers and stoves, along with certain other high-amperage appliances like the aforementioned growing lights or even a network of computer equipment, use large amounts of power relative to the general house power, and thus their use can also be detected.
Previously, in order to monitor a mechanical meter's usage, a person would have to go to the meter and look at it. Now, electric companies—or anyone they sell data to—can simply run searches in a database for unusual activity, then dispatch agents to a home to observe it and see if there is anything going on the government—or any private party—may be interested in.

The United States is getting deeper in debt at a faster rate than ever before, mainly due to the out-of-control spending by the Department of Defense, which really should be called the Department of War like it was until 1947. Out of the $2 trillion that is collected from taxpayers every year to cover all the nation's expenses, the War Department takes a whopping 70 percent, or $3.4 trillion. As a result we have to needlessly borrow that much every year, thus being forced into bankruptcy.
The international bankers have taken control of our country know all too well that war is the biggest money maker for them and since their Federal Reserve was established in 1913 we have had one war after another resulting in a gargantuan national debt that has been growing exponentially since then. After a century of wars, a mere $2.5 billion debt in 1913 has mushroomed into a $14.5 trillion debt in 2011.
So where does all this money go? Officially, congress now allocates about $700 billion to the Pentagon. However, there are many war-related expenses that are hidden in other parts of the budget that dramatically increase that figure to as much as $1.4 trillion debt. Over 90% of the total interest per year, or $431 billion is due to previous spending. (Note: We are still paying interest on the Korean War.) Another $125 billion goes for veterans affairs including pensions. Homeland Security gets $47 billion, the Energy Department gets another $22 billion, a vague-sounding International Affairs gets $63 billion and the rest goes to miscellaneous other expenses including NASA for satellites, FBI for counter terrorism, etc.
Here are some interesting statistics: We spend more on war than the rest of the world combined. The U.S. military has 750 bases around the world in 135 countries, many countries of which are tiny and not a threat to the United States. Do we really need to defend ourselves against Mali, Liechtenstein or Andorra?
The events of 9-11 were a bonanza for the war industry. According to a recent study by Brown University, the United States has spent $3.7 trillion on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. By the CIA's own admission in London's Financial Times on June 26: "The U.S. government spends $10 billion a month to fight an estimated 50 to 75 al Qaeda types in Afghanistan." The alleged reason for our invasion of that country, Osama bin Laden, was allegedly terminated in Pakistan a couple of months ago. Yet, we continue to be in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Our commander in chief, who was elected to office mainly because he promised to bring the troops home immediately, recently announced that he would bring home 32,000 troops by next September.
A few months ago, the federal government was at risk of actually shutting down because they couldn't agree on how to shave an additional $10 billion off the budget. Yet we spend that much with every passing month in Afghanistan. Of course, the president also did no make clear why we are still leaving 68, 000 troops there, along with another 100,000 mercenaries.
It is not only the Department of Defense's outlandish spending that must be curbed, but also its criminal waste. Beyond the hammers and $500 toilet seats, countless billions are routinely disappearing into the black hole of war spending. Recently, it was admitted that $6.3 billion in cash had vanished in Iraq. Several years ago, during the early years of the Iraq war, however, it was conceded that $12 billion in cash had gone missing.
And whatever happened to that $2.3 trillion that was declared unaccounted for the day prior to 9-11 by Donald Rumsfeld? Conveniently 9-11 happened the next day, and taxpayers forgot about the money. That has to be the greatest magic trick of all time.
Pentagon auditors readily admit that 25 percent of their annual budget, or $175 billion, cannot be located.
The federal government was on the verge of shutting down this spring because they couldn't agree on how to cut a mere $10 billion.
Are these guys politicians, or are they stand-up comedians?
It's hard to tell.

In late May, in response to the growing debate over raising the debt ceiling, The Treasury department issued a press release telling the world what it largely already knew: The United States is insolvent and lacks the assets to pay its debts.
According to Treasury officials, the United States is borrowing $125 billion a month, much of it to pay interest on existing debt. Even if Congress were to decide to liquidate American taxpayers' assets in a fire sale, including gold reserves, mortgage-backed securities ans assets such as stock in automakers and other big companies, it would not be able to raise enough money quickly enough to counterbalance the amount it needs to borrow to stay solvent.
The United States bases its currency on debt. The government issues Treasury bonds that are bought by private investors, including the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve, a network of private banks, issues U.S. currency at interest as obligations against its assets, particularly Treasury bonds.
In the current economic situation, the United States has been reducing the productivity of its population by sending jobs overseas while bringing into the country illegal immigrants to reduce the value of jobs within its own borders.
In order to maintain the illusion of a higher standard of living, Congress liberalized credit laws over the pat few decades, allowing citizens to borrow money that made up for the income they were no longer receiving at their jobs.
However, by replacing jobs with credit and reducing the value of labor within its own economy, the U.S. reduced the tax base that is required to service its debt while increasing expenses that it has to service. These two forces collide in the ongoing economic crisis.
America does not have assets sufficient to make a substantial
dent in its debt and faces a tax base and labor pool that is
rapidly declining in value. As skilled jobs have been gutted
by middlemen making deals with China and domestic labor values
have plummeted because of immigration policies. Congress is approaching
a lead-up to the inevitable, which is either a U.S. default on
its debt or a major devaluation of its currency. Repudiation
of the debt needs to be considered now.

Attorney General Eric Holder has told several small community banks that easing credit standards for under qualified blacks is not enough. Soon they'll be forced to give money to unqualified blacks or face federal investigation and prosecution.
According to Investors Business Daily, the Department of Justice has ordered several banks to further "relax lending standards for minorities." This follows a recent $20 million settlement on the part of the same banks, which sought to avoid federal accusations that they were responsible for defaults made on sub-prime loans the banks had previously given blacks under a congressional program known as the Community Reinvestment act.
Affected banks include Midwest Bank Centre in St Louis and Citizens Bank of Detroit. Both are accused of refusing to lend money to poverty-stricken blacks in faltering neighborhoods in those cities.
It should be noted that the formerly white areas of these
cities are for the most part wastelands. Large sections of Detroit,
in particular, are being targeted for a "return to wilderness"
in which city planners want to bulldoze blocks of buildings and
related infrastructure in order to avoid paying for services
in these once-thriving neighborhoods.

Americans weary of birth certificate fraud may finally have the whole truth, that is if the media will report it. Convinced that the so-called "certified copy" released by White House officials three months ago could be a forgery, the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii has issued and served a subpoena to the director of the Hawaii Department of health with an order to produce barack Obama's original birth certificate.
Health department director Loretta J. Fuddy received the subpoena on July 5 commanding her to produce by Aug.8 the original typewritten birth certificate #10641 signed by Dr. David Sinclair, Stanley Ann Dunham Obama and registrar "U.K.L. Lee" stored at Hawaii's department of Health since that time.
The above names and signatures were all shown to be suspect following the April 27 White House release of what it claimed was a certified copy of Obama's long form birth certificate. However, numerous document examiners, computer software experts and graphics consultants have come forward to state in formal presentations and reports that this image presented to the public is but another poor forgery.
This legal action stems from California attorney Orly Taitz's lawsuit wherein she is litigation to prove Obama illegally used multiple Social Security numbers.
Ms. Taitz told AFP: "The evidence is overwhelming, and only corrupt judges can keep this truth hidden."
Hawaii's failure to produce a birth certificate could forever destroy Obama's "natural born" claims and possibly draw criminal prosecution for continued document fraud over the years. Had this subpoena and court action involved Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal, it would have been front-page headlines.
Only hours after Obama released this latest forgery and challenges against it were raised, White House Lawyer Bob Bauer reportedly began to have second thoughts. A month later he resigned. Dr. Jerome Corsi, author of Where's the birth Certificate?" said Bauer was troubled by the administration's release of the public of"a PDF computer file obviously created on Adobe software and a Xerox copy."
Bauer had previously sent two other attorneys to Honolulu to retrieve certified copies of Obama's so-called 1961 long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate, but they returned with only the suspect Certificate of Live birth (COLB).
If Obama used the COLB to acquire a U.S. passport he has violated one or more of the title 18 felony statutes warned against by the department of state, which call for a minimum of 10 years in prison. Use of another person's social Security number would add another felony.
One talk show host said, "Obama couldn't even clear enough
of a security check to work as a janitor in a federal building."

the most dangerous place on earth is not in the Middle East, and it's not at a site of ongoing ethnic cleansing. With more than 15,000 murders last year and ver 34,000 killed in the last four years, this avoid-at-all–costs vacation destination is actually right next door: Mexico.
According to the BBC, the Mexican government is now turning to computers to keep up with the voluminous death toll, announcing a new database system in January of this year. Of the 34,612 reported murders this far, 30,913 were "execution-style killings." That means methodical, gun-to-head shootings, no accidental loss of life and no collateral damage from military combat. It's just the daily and premeditated slaughter of a drug war.
As formerly allied drug cartels turn against one another to control trafficking, the mob-style butchering is taking on new levels, perhaps to make a point to their rivals that they are the most ghastly of competitors. The BBC reports, "There have been numerous discoveries of mass graves - some containing dozens of bodies. Other gruesome attacks include beheadings and bodies hung from bridges."
In November 2010, freelance journalist and photographer Jeff Antebi spoke of his journey to document the violence in Juarez, Mexico. He stated, "Within an hour of arriving, we heard over the police scanners, a body has been found. And maybe 30 minutes later another body - and then another body - and by the end of the day it was 10 - the next day 10 - and the next day 10."
Last year, the sheriff of Hudspeth County, Texas, Arvin West, warned his constituents about the potential spillover of violence from Juarez, saying: "Your farmers, I'm telling you right now, arm yourselves. As they say the old story is, it's better to be tried by 12 than carried by six."
The liberal National Public radio also referenced an incident where "gunmen in the Juarez Valley killed the Mexican relative of a Fort Hancock, Texas high school student. When the student's family in Fort Hancock heard about it, they crossed the border at 10 a.m. to see the body, and took the student with them. By 10:30, drug cartel members had stabbed the relatives that went with him, which included his grandparents, with an ice pick," says school superintendent Jose Franco. "My understanding is that the gentleman is 90 years old, and they poked his eyes out with an ice pick."
On July 9 the Associated Press reported that drug violence "led to the deaths of more than 40 people whose bodies were found in three Mexican cities over a 24-hour span." That includes more than 20 killed "when gunmen opened fire in a bar late Friday in the northern city of Monterrey," 11 bodies found "piled near a water well on the outskirts of Mexico City" that were "blindfolded and had their hands tied" and 10 corpses found in Torreon that "had been mutilated and left in a sport-utility vehicle."
They also report that , as the drug cartel members become split, street gangs are forming around them, causing the violence to spread even further. Accordingly, "some poorer areas of the sprawling metropolis of 20 million people have begun to see killings and decapitations committed by street gangs."
The police are targets as well. Journalist Antebi mentioned that he was cautious never to photograph officers. "Those photos might be used to target law enforcement personnel when they are off duty."
Private intelligence firm Stratfor reported in 2009 that "the discovery of hit lists with the names of police officers has become increasingly common in many Mexican cities along the U.S. border. It also is common for the officers named on those lists to be gunned down."
Even in Arizona, Maricipa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio received news from the FBI in 2009 that a $1 bounty had been placed on his head.
While some might happily and with relief point out that places with U.S. military involvement like Iraq are safer than Mexico, AFP has reported extensively on projects Gunrunner and Fast and Furious by which the U.S. government is actively arming this conflict.
Like a CIA program in 1981 that armed the contras in Nicaragua against the Sandinistas, once again the U.S. government is bloodying the hands f all Americans by facilitating these atrocities in Mexico.
The War on Drugs campaign was never about eliminating the
existence of or access to illegal substances, but rather it's
a ludicrously expensive plan to make even more outrageous sums
of money by stealthily controlling the global drug trade.

Did Attorney general Eric Holder perjure himself before Congress when he testified under oath that he had only recently heard about a federal program, that armed violent Mexican drug cartels with guns purchased in U.S. firearms stores? In addition, who else at the top echelon of government knew about this controversial operation that has already brought about the resignation of the head of Bureau of alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE)?
Americans deserve answers to these critical questions, and Dave Hardy, a Tucson attorney and Second Amendment author who has been covering the BATFE since 1978, in an exclusive interview with AFP.
His inquiry is certainly valid in light of Operation Fast and Furious, the biggest governmentally mandated criminal endeavor since Ronald Reagan's Iran-Contra guns-for-drugs scandal.
The furor over two U.S. Border Patrol agents being slain by Mexican drug cartels that used weapons funneled to them under a Department of Justice program now has Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Tex.) calling for drastic measures.
During a July 13 radio broadcast, Farenhold stated, "I'm starting to believe it [Fast and Furious] goes higher than we thought. If this goes all the way to the attorney general [Eric Holder], it's time for him to resign."
The seriousness of this situation is undeniable. Right now, the most dangerous place on Earth isn't Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Pakistan or Yemen. Rather, it's the U.S.-Mexican border, running from Texas to California.
Currently, over 28,000 American troops patrol the area between North and South Korea. Those troops guarding South Korea could easily be placed on the U.S. border to stop trafficking in illegal drugs and immigrants. Why? Nearly 35,000 individuals have been slaughtered in the Mexican drug wars that are spilling over onto our soil and threatening to ensnare America in barbaric violence.
Worse, some estimates have 70 percent of all guns seized by federales originating in the U.S. Specifically, in regard in the ill-conceived Fast and Furious program, Hardy links 150 guns directly to deaths in Mexico. And this may just be the tip of the iceberg.
Hardy similarly revealed that BATFE agencies in Phoenix, Houston and Tampa have also been involved in"walking guns" to Honduras and Mexico. Although not being covered by mainstream media outlets, Fast and Furious has tentacles reaching in many directions.
Despite official denials, Hardy asserted: "The government's story of sending weapons to Mexican drug cartels in order to spy on them doesn't fly. Consorting with the enemy is committing an act of war against our own country. I predict, at the very least, that Eric Holder was complicit in this from the start and that the White House will have trouble denying their involvement in the cover-up."
If nothing else, Holder should immediately be prosecuted on perjury charges after testifying to Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) at a May congressional committee hearing, "I probably heard of Fast and Furious the first time in the last few weeks.
More than two years earlier, Holder spoke at an arms trafficking conference in Cuernavaca, Mexico on April 2,2009, where he boasted: "Our administration launched a major new effort to break the backs of cartels. My department is committing 100 new ATF personnel to the southwest border in the next 100 days to supplement our ongoing Project Gunrunner." (Project Gunrunner is the predecessor to Fast and Furious.)
Furthermore, Obama's stimulus bill devoted $10 million to Project Gunrunner in 2009, while Holder's subordinate - Deputy Attorney general David Ogden - referred to Project gunrunner in a March 24, 2009 speech.
In this context, former rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) weighed in. "It is impossible to think that Eric Holder did not know about it."
For his part, BATFE whistle blower Robert Plumlee began filing reports on the dangers of Fast and Furious in May 2009, including how Mexican gangs had access to rocket-propelled grenade launchers, and anti-aircraft guns, .50-caliber rifles and AK-47s, all of which originated in and were dispatched south of the border by the United States.
But instead of following these firearms, BATFE agents were repeatedly told to stand down and discontinue their surveillance of these government-sanctioned weapons, some of which were ultimately directed to paid informants of the FBI and DEA. Sadly, BATFE agents were apparently unaware of these ulterior motives and black operations.
In a July 7 article by Jerry Seper of The Washington Times, gang-leader Jesus Rejon Aguilar of the notorious Los Zetas was quoted as saying, "All the weapons were bought in the United States." The article continued by claiming that the American government was directly in evolved in selling guns to these cartels.
Considering the bloodshed and carnage, Mexican politicians now want anyone in the Obama cabinet who sanctioned gun sales to these illegal drug cartels to be extradited and then stand trial for offenses that have made cities such as Juarez and anarchy-riddled murderer's row.
Hardy put the scenario into perspective, especially after newly appointed BATFE Director Kenneth Melson - who described himself as "sick to the stomach" after learning of this debacle - testified against his superiors at the department of Justice.
"When was the lat time you heard of the head of a government
agency turning snitch?" Hardy asked. "If it's shown
that Obama had knowledge of the cover-up, he should be impeached."

The secretive Bilderberg group is making another attempt to force the U.S. Senate into a sovereignty-surrendering ratification of the International Criminal Court treaty that would mean that UN cops could patrol the street where you live. Patriots have won this fight many times over the past 15 year, but complacency is dangerous.
For example, President Obama is sending a number of treaties to the Senate for ratification that would give international courts the power to throw you in jail for offending a foreigner.
But this is just one part of a much broader battle Under the Genocide Convention, genocide includes words a foreigner considers offensive. A UN cop could jerk you out of bed and drag you off to jail for this offense. The ACLU, which styles itself a champion of free speech, supports ratification.
President Jimmy Carter, a Trilateralist, signed the Law of the Sea Treaty and sent it to the Senate for ratification. Ronald Reagan "unsigned"the treaty and threw it in the trash can. President Daddy Bush let the treaty lie fallow. President Bill Clinton, himself a Bilderberg attendee, revived the treaty but when a test vote showed more than 90 senators in opposition, he dared not submit it for ratification. Bu t Baby Bush, outraging his conservative supporters, called the treaty back up.
Under a "world heritage" designation, a UN lackey could order you off an inland beach or to stay away from a protected forest or any internationalized site. In this case, nations ask for trouble by applying to the UN's educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization for recognition as a World Heritage Site. The UN entices applications on grounds that such status would boost tourism. There are already 21 such sites in the United States and 911 worldwide.
In 1995, Clinton signed the UN's Convention of the Rights
of the Child. Aware that the Senate would eventually reject it,
Clinton held back. Ratification could be sought at any moment.
The treaty requires member nations to conform their laws to its
articles. This puts UN gumshoes between you and any child 19
or younger. If you spank your child or speak in an "offensive"
manner, the UN Big Brother could discipline you.

The mass media is having a field day talking about the fact that a Christian—and so-called "right-wing extremist"—was responsible for the mass murder in Norway. But what the media has carefully played down is the fact that the confessed terrorist, Anders Behring Breivik, was a hard-line supporter of Israel, a violent pro-Israeli lunatic (like fanatic John Hagee) lashing out at a government—that of Norway's Labor Party—he perceived to be hostile to Israel.
This fact casts a new perspective on the event and is one the media would prefer to keep under wraps, particularly those pro-Israeli voices that have helped shape Breivik's thinking. References to Breivik as blond haired and blue-eyed permeated the media, even including The Washington Post, that, as a matter of political correctness, will not report the race of suspected criminals sought by the police in the nation's capital. The implicit intent was to focus on white racism rather than pro-Israeli fanaticism.
Apparently, Breivik's problem with the Labor Party—whose youth camp he targeted—was that he viewed the party as being an enemy of Israel.
In Israel, bloggers hailed Breivik, suggesting the result of his crime was the welcome and God-sanctioned destruction of Israel's enemies. Breivik urged Europeans to enter into a "pro-Israel, anti-Jihad alliance," according to the pro-Israel Washington Times, which admitted on July 25 that one of its sources had been in correspondence with the terrorist as far back as July 2009.
But Breivik does not stand alone urging Europeans to align themselves with Israel. In fact, his pro-Israel rhetoric was preceded with similar talk from a number of European nationalists—often referred to as being "right wing"—who find Israel to be a viable ally.
They include—but are not limited to: Nick Griffin, leader of the British National Party; Marine Le Pen, leader of the French National Front, who says her movement is now "Zionistic"; Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch Freedom Party, who makes regular pilgrimages to Israel; and Filip Dewinter, chairman of the Vlaamas Belang Party in Belgium, who has claimed "Israel is a sort of outpost for our Western society, an outpost of democracy, of freedom of speech, of protecting common values within a hostile environment."
While—as AFP's readers know— all of Dewinter's points are questionable, Dewinter (and Breiviks) ignore that, since its establishment, Israel has energetically razed Christian holy sites, destroyed ancient Christian relics and instituted laws imprisoning Christians for proselytizing their faith.
These Europeans ignore the fact that the Muslims they proclaim to be enemies of Christianity actually revere Jesus Christ as a beloved prophet, as did Mohammad himself. At the same time, they ignore the ugly hostility toward Christianity that is an article of faith in Israel and that has been acknowledged by modern-day Jewish scholars in such recent works as Jesus in the Talmud* by Dr. Peter Schafer and Reckless Rites: Purim and the Legacy of Jewish Violence** by Dr. Elliot Horowitz.
While no nationalist anywhere questions the European desire to maintain sovereignty and traditional cultural integrity, many do question whether nationalists in Europe should merge their concerns with those of Israel's geopolitical ambitions. This is akin to the claim by pro-Israel propagandists who claim that the interests of Israel and those of the United States are the same.
In the wake of 9-11, those propagandists stoked up fears about the so-called rise of Islam and of a purported Muslim population explosion about to overtake the United States and Europe. This is precisely the kind of rhetoric that stimulated Breivik and many others.
However, as far back as Jan. 27, The New York Times let its elite readership in on the big secret: The Muslim population is not accelerating exponentially either in the United States or in Europe or even around the world. The Times was commenting on a study, The Future of the Global Muslim Population, the subject of a joint inquiry by two think tanks, the Pew Research Center and the John Templeton Foundation.
Cryptically entitled "Report offers surprises on Muslims' growth," the Times article advised that "predictions that Europe will become a majority Muslim ‘Eurabia' are unfounded."
The Times pointed out during the next 20 years the world's Muslim population is projected to increase from 23.4 percent to 26.4 percent, hardly an "explosion."
The Times added that "such growth is not enough to create a drastic shift in the world's religious balance."
And while many have been convinced by pro-Israeli voices that the Muslim population in Europe is growing by leaps and bounds, the Times revealed that the study found that Muslims in Europe, now making up 6 percent of the population, will only grow to 8 percent by 2030.
The Times noted: "In France and Belgium, Muslims will be about 10 percent of the population in 20 years, and in Britain, 8 percent."
As far as the United States is concerned, within 20 years Muslims will only constitute 1.7 percent of the American population, described by the Times as "about the equivalent of Jews in the United States today."
Essentially, the Times was telling its readers: "You really don't need to worry about Muslim hordes taking over America and instituting Sharia law."
But that message isn't reaching the mass audience and it didn't reach Christian-Zionist soldiers like Breivik, who are marching off to war against Islam.

A just-released book* confirms
what U.S. law enforcement had suspected for decades: A Jewish
Hollywood film producer "was a full-fledged operative for
Israel's top-secret intelligence agency" and used his many
U.S.- based companies to smuggle sensitive nuclear technology
from the United States to Israel. This spy was also the most
likely source for Iran and Libya's uranium enrichment advances.
According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the book, Confidential: The Life of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon—Arnon Milchan, "recounts Milchan's life story, from his days as a boy through his friendships with Israeli prime ministers, U.S. presidents and Hollywood stars."
As far back as 1995, AFP correspondent Michael Collins Piper revealed that Milchan—who bankrolled Oliver Stone's film JFK—was a key figure in Israel's nuclear weapons program that Kennedy was determined to stop. The Milchan-funded film ignores this conflict. Milchan produced other films including Pretty Woman, War of the Roses, Fight Club and Natural Born Killers.
He also funds the Israeli Network, which broadcasts Israeli TV programming to the U.S. and Canada. Milchan, a fanatical devotee of the Zionist state and an Israeli citizen, set up shop in Tinseltown in the late 1970s, attaining a net worth of around $4 billion. Forbes magazine listed him as the world's 268th richest person.
"Milchan's services to the Israeli security industry have been made public before," says Haaretz, "but he has always denied or refused to acknowledge them. This is the first time Milchan confirms these claims."
Israeli theft of nuclear and other high-tech secrets in the U.S. has a long history, with most prosecutions thwarted due to Jewish political power. In fact, Milchan's fearless admissions of his spying may be attributable to his belief that U.S. law enforcement can no longer counter Jewish power.
These new revelations should open the debate on how dual loyalties have the potential of harming U.S. national security and economic interests. The current president of Israel, Shimon Peres, was the figure responsible for Milchan's dirty dealings. Interviewed for the book, Peres bragged: "It was I who recruited him. When I was at the Ministry of Defense, Arnon was involved in numerous defense-related procurement activities and intelligence operations. His strength is in making connections at the highest levels. His activities gave us a huge advantage, strategically, diplomatically and technologically."
The "activities" Peres alludes to include "buying components to build and maintain Israel's nuclear arsenal" and supervising "government-backed accounts and front companies that financed the special needs of the entirety of Israel's intelligence operations outside the country."
Milchan provided sketches of nuclear centrifuges to Israel, and based on these, "Israel set up a centrifuge factory in Dimona and was able to produce fissile material used for nuclear weapons."
Although Milchan refused payment for his Israeli spying, he "collected commission fees from American security firms that were deposited in the bank accounts of various companies he set up in several countries where Israeli spy agencies operate," according to the authors.
"Hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars paid in commissions for defense deals between Israel and the United States were deposited in secret bank accounts all over the world and used to fund Israeli espionage activities abroad. The money in these accounts paid for operations that helped Israel obtain materials, technologies and equipment that turned it into a nuclear power, with the fifth biggest nuclear arsenal in the world," stated the authors in an interview with Haaretz.

Thanks to the freedom, liberty and Constitution loving newspaper, AMERICAN FREE PRESS, the continuing crimes against humanity in the form of non-consensual experimentation on American citizens are finally being brought to the attention of citizens across the nation. If these crimes are not stopped, this will be the future for all of us.
America has become an electronic concentration camp, and the many targeted individuals who have come forward claiming they are the victims of non-consensual experimentation and torture are guinea pigs of this program until it is rolled out for everyone to "experience."
We're under constant scrutiny—our movements monitored by cameras, tracked by satellites and catalogued by a host of increasingly attentive government agencies. No longer does the idea of an omnipresent government seem all that farfetched. As technology becomes ever more sophisticated, the idea of a total surveillance society moves further from the realm of George Orwell's science fiction fantasy into an accepted way of life.
In fact, surveillance has become a huge moneymaking industry in itself, with many sectors having sprung up devoted to developing increasingly sophisticated gadgets to keep targeted individuals under surveillance, with or without their cooperation. The science behind this technology is particularly brilliant.
For example, human motion analysis, a pet project of researchers at the University of Maryland, aims to create an individual "code" for the way people walk, i.e. "finding DNA in human motion." Dubbed Gait DNA, this surveillance system works by matching a person's facial image to his gait, height, weight and other elements—all captured through remote observation, thereby allowing the computer to identify someone instantly and track them, even in a crowd.
Oceanit, a Hawaii-based company, developed new technology that can see through walls by picking up sensitive radio signals emitted by the human body to determine vital signs such as breathing and heart rates. Ian Kitajima, marketing manager for Oceanit, stated that the technology now exists to see targeted individuals inside their own homes. Five years from now, the technology will be much smarter and will be able to tell what we're thinking. These writers believe, from experience, that this technology may already exist.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the central research and development agency for the Department of Defense, is credited with inventing satellite navigation that many of us now have in our cars. Targeted individuals are literally tracked everywhere they go, unless the car was made before 1999. Then, of course, the GPS in a cell phone or a GPS physically mounted on the vehicle will do the job.
Indeed, since 9-11, the U.S. government has been building an arsenal of surveillance tools aimed directly at American citizens, largely paid for by American taxpayers. Targeted individuals are their research guinea pigs.
Implemented with no oversight from Congress, this surveillance program is overseen by Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which is a little like letting foxes guard the hen-house.

A Gunman who opened fire on a youth training camp for the Norwegian Labor Party and attempted to assassinate the prime minister with a six-ton fertilizer truck bomb was not a "right-wing extremist," but instead a radical Christian Zionist who said on the Internet that he wanted to kill Norwegian officials for their opposition to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
Anders Behring Breivik is accused of killing at least 68 people in two attacks in which he is alleged to have single-handedly set off a large bomb in downtown Oslo and then opened fire on a political training camp for teenagers operated by the Norwegian Labor Party.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg is believed to have been the target of the bomb. Several of Stoltenberg's staffers were killed when it destroyed his offices in a downtown Oslo office building.
Breivik was apprehended and later told police he acted alone. However, the attack was not motivated, as U.S. media sources claimed, by "right-wing extremism." Rather, it was Breivik's extremist support for the Israeli occupation in Palestine that Stoltenberg and his government opposed.
As details of Breivik's Internet posts supporting Israel and denouncing "nazis and Muslims" emerged, the press changed its line, claiming Norwegian authorities were "baffled" by Breivik's motives. However Brievik's own words made his motivations in attempting to kill Stoltenberg and his supporters clear.
"For me it is very hypocritical to treat Muslims, Nazis and Marxists different. They are all supporters of hate-ideologies," wrote Breivik. "Not all Muslims, Nazis and Marxists are conservative; most are moderate."
Breivik went on to claim that "Muslims, Nazis and Marxists" had been responsible for over 4420 million deaths in the 20th century and that they and their adherents should be "treated the same" and killed.
In so saying, Breivik's politics mirror the exhortations of Rev. John Hagee as well as the mainstream neo-conservative movement in the United States, which, while nominally "right-wing," has its origins in Trotskyite communism and supports Israelis who have massacred thousands of Palestinian people and illegally occupied their land.
Breivik's actions, and the media response to them, are part
of a pattern of contrived massacres, often committed by such
pro-Israeli extremists, which are used to promote a one-world
internationalist agenda of the New World Order through a false
linkage to nationalist ideologies that oppose it.

On July 20 the GOP-led House drafted a bill to cut $6.4 billion
in foreign and to countries that "don't cooperate in the
war of terrorism." Included on this list of nations to be
blocked are Yemen, Pakistan, Lebanon, the Palestinian Authority
and Egypt. Conspicuously not mentioned in this tentative legislation
was Israel, which, by the very nature of its government, can't
cooperate in the war against terrorism because it's so often
the source of terrorism. Israel receives more foreign aid from
U.S. taxpayers every year than any other country, with estimates
placing the cash handouts at anywhere from $4 billion to $12
billion annually. Another congressional panel, by a 223-17 margin,
voted to slash U.S. contribution to the UN by 25 percent.

While appearing on a July 13 MSNBC talk show hosted by liberal Dylan Ratigan, Presidential aspirant Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) said that Congress should stop payments to the Federal Reserve instead of to the people.
In a later statement on July 18, Paul made his point even more abundantly clear:
"We need to stop adding more programs and entitlement
to the problem. We need to stop expensive bombing campaigns against
people on the other side of the globe and bring our troops home.
We need to stop allowing secretive banking cartels to endlessly
enslave us through monetary policy trickery. And we need to drastically
rethink government's role in our lives so we can get it out of
the way."

The $2.6 trillion Social Security "fund" doesn't exist because Congress disobeys its own laws. When Congress passed the Social security Act of 1935, it required that social Security taxes be held in a separate fund, or "lock box." Funds were to be invested only in safe, conservative ventures. There was to be no risky investments. But the separate fund is a myth.
Americans would have significantly larger benefits by putting these same funds into interest-drawing saving accounts or safe, modest investments.
The so-called 50 percent paid by employers is another myth bestowed upon presumably stupid citizens. No employer hires someone until considering the total costs, salary and fringe benefits. So the employee is really paying the full amount, half of it indirectly through his employer.
But federal bureaucrats believed some citizens would be too poor or stupid to save for retirement, so all Americans must be forced into Social Security. Today, more than half the recipients of Social Security benefits contributed nothing. Beneficiaries include child molesters and other undesirables.
More than a million illegal aliens came into this country for the express purpose of collecting Social security, free health care and welfare benefits. Some arrive during late-term pregnancy, deliver, and become the mother of an "anchor baby citizen."
For many years now, the social Security fund has been combined with general federal revenue to politicians can claim their unending deficits are lower when approving huge nanny-state budgets. Plus, if the well ever runs dry, the Federal Reserve simply prints more money.
It is immoral for Congress to consider cutting Social Security
benefits to reduce the deficit. The fund is not legally part
of the federal budget, and those who have been compelled to contribute
for a half-century of their working lives should not be deprived
of their meager benefits. In many cases, these benefits stand
between the citizen and starvation.

The untimely death of a British
journalist who was privy to years of damaging secrets while working
for a Murdoch-owned tabloid newspaper has some people asking
if the reporter was actually "suicided" because of
what he knew.
In 2004, Sean Hoare was a 40-year-old celebrity journalist with the world at his feet. He knew most high flyers, including stars from the worlds of pop music and film, and partied with them to learn their innermost secrets.
His bosses at News of the World, Britain's leading Sunday tabloid, had been happy for years with his sensational stories on the lives of the rich and famous. Colleagues, however, suspected his life was spiraling out of control. Hoare would later say his newspaper encouraged him to blend into the celebrity world even if it meant taking drugs and leading a dissolute lifestyle. In 2005, News International, the governing body of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp media conglomerate, put Hoare out on the street, claiming alcohol and drug abuse was affecting his work.
His sacking was unwise, because his knowledge of the private lives of celebrities was nothing compared to even larger secrets locked away in his brain. In 2010, he began spilling some of those secrets to selected journalists. He revealed how he had been part of a criminal enterprise at News of the World in which hacking into phones of public figures, including former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, as well as celebrities and the families of dead soldiers, was commonplace. Much of it was done with the help of Scotland Yard officers who were on the newspaper's secret payroll.
Once Hoare became a whistle blower, he knew he was taking considerable risks, because he had information that could bring about the collapse of the careers of senior police officers, cause untold financial damage to News Corp's global stock value and create political upheaval in Britain. When The New York Times published some of his revelations last autumn, the London police questioned him.
In January he retreated to his apartment at Watford, 20 miles from London. To neighbors he had the look of a man living in constant fear. Friends who did not know he was a whistle blower thought he was a paranoid when he told them powerful people were out to get him. He hinted that his pursuers might be government people, meaning intelligence services. Others felt he was into something risky and life threatening. Finally, Hoare retreated behind the closed curtains of his apartment and drowned his sorrows and fears in alcohol.
As the storm clouds of Murdoch's newspaper scandal swirled around London on July 18, Hoare was nowhere to be seen. Friends called police, who found him dead in his flat.
While there will be speculation about the cause of death, 24 hours after his passing, Murdoch and his son, James, faced angry members of a parliamentary inquiry. Two of the most senior police officers in Britain had already resigned, as well as former News of the World excutives that had been employed by the British prime minister and Scotland Yard. Hoare's whistle blowing had already cost News Corp. Over $1 billion as its stock price fell.
Whether Hoar's aim was revenge or a patriotic attempt to expose
a criminal enterprise within News Corp., his revelations about
Murdoch have been devastating.

In June, former Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) conducted a fact-finding mission in Libya. While attending a conference in the sovereign North African nation, she discovered that the mainstream media had concocted bald-faced lies about NATO's activities during the illegal opening of hostilities.
During an exclusive interview with AMERICAN FREE PRESS on July 26, Ms. McKinney received an electronic message from a Russian colleague saying that NATO air strikes had targeted Libya's Great Manmade River Project (GMRP). This water source is the world's largest irrigation system—described as the eighth wonder of the world by Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi—and delivers over 1.7 billion gallons of fresh water daily to about 70 percent of the country's citizens.
Ms. McKinney's colleague also claimed that a pipe manufacturing plant that services the GMRP was also destroyed. This deliberate act of sabotage makes it clear that Barack Obama and NATO aren't engaging in this "non-war" for humanitarian purposes.
"I was there before the bombing, and I was there after the bombing," said Ms. McKinney, "and I have to tell you that it's a shame that we're literally destroying a country. But it wouldn't be the first time, because we destroyed Iraq. Before the bombing started, Libya was Africa's most developed country. Now it will qualify as Africa's most bombed country.
"The division and hatred that has been sown by NATO activities," continued Ms. McKinney, "now pit Libyan against Libyan. The very foundation of U.S.- NATO activities is a lie."
While in Libya, Ms. McKinney visited the university in the nation's capital, which had been targeted in NATO bombings as well as other buildings housing civilians. The destruction wrought by U.S. and European forces is reminiscent of the 2003 aggressive war against Iraq.
"It's clear that the American people have been deceived, just like the other times that our leaders lied to us about the war against the people of Iraq," Ms. McKinney continued. "Our hard-earned tax dollars are being squandered by this leadership. They simply don't have the guts to say ‘no' to the military-industrial-financial-media complex."
Ms. McKinney has begun a research project that aims to identify the names and faces behind the push for involving the United States in foreign wars.
"I would certainly be willing to discuss with someone who wants to do this research and then help make it public," explained Ms. McKinney, "because we need to know who really is pulling the strings that make our country go to war when the American people don't want war."
"We must know who the winners are," said Ms. McKinney. "We know who the losers are; the losers are us."

The New York Times is hailing and promoting the return to the political arena of scandal-tainted Ralph Reed, the 49-year-old Christian right leader and Bilderberg figure who first rose to power and wide-reaching influence as the founding executive director of evangelist Pat Robertson's Christian Coalition.
The Times focused on Reed's new incarnation as the founder of a non-profit political advocacy group known as the Faith and Freedom Coalition that Reed says will build a direct-mail and fund-raising file of some 29 million conservative voters. Reed and his operation will undoubtedly be a major force in directing the aims and agenda of the tea party movement in the days ahead.
Within the next two years, Reed brags that he expects to spend $15 million to $18 million pushing a political agenda that is essentially designed to maintain control of the substantial evangelical voting bloc in America.
This, of course, means that these voters will be under the sway of Reed's behind-the-scenes masters. You see, Reed is a tried and true inductee into the international global elite as demonstrated by the fact that in 2004 he attended the Bilderberg group's 50th anniversary meeting in Stresa, Italy. Reed's attendance was a clear sign that he has the sponsorship of some of the world's most powerful families and financial groups.
Bilderberg meetings—which have been thoroughly investigated, exclusively in the American media by AFP correspondent Jim Tucker—have been conducted annually for more than half a century under the direction of the Rothschild banking dynasty of Europe in collaboration with their American satellites in the sphere of influence of the Rockefeller empire.
That Reed—who has been central to a number of corruption scandals during his career—is now being "rehabilitated" by The New York Times, which is always represented at Bilderberg, is a sure sign that Reed is expected to play a major role in political affairs in the coming election.
Reed first got caught up in some unpleasantness when he was forced to resign as director of the Christian Coalition after the coalition's chief financial officer went to authorities with allegations of over-billing of the coalition by a mailing list vendor with close ties to Reed. Although he was never charged with any crimes, his reputation as a good Christian man was nonetheless sullied.
Later, Reed was caught red-handed in unseemly collaboration with the sordid Jack Abramoff, the high-powered Republican activist turned Washington lobbyist—a devout Orthodox Jew with ties to hardliners in Israel—who later went to prison in a scandal that implicated dozens of congressmen and their staffers.
In collaboration with Abramoff, Reed utilized his influence among evangelicals to wage heavy-handed lobbying campaigns against a number of efforts by American Indian tribes to establish gambling casinos.
Portraying gambling as a scourge against Christian and public morality, Reed was actually being secretly paid by Abramoff to wage public relations efforts to shut down or stop the establishment of gambling enterprises run by Indian tribes that were rivals to other tribes paying Abramoff to lobby on behalf of their own ventures.
All of this dirty behind-the-scenes double-dealing came to the fore when the Justice Department began investigating Abramoff, but—once again—Reed avoided criminal charges at state and federal levels.
Now, however, Reed is back in the saddle, having amassed his own fortune as a public-relations man working for such clients as software giant Microsoft and the infamous Enron operation, which, in the public's eye, was viewed as a "Texas oil giant" but was, in fact, a venture under the control of the New-York based Belfer family, a little-known but wealthy and quietly influential force in the Zionist movement.
Watch out for Reed. He's going to play no small role in the political affairs of our republic during the months and years ahead.

A former U.S. military officer believes there is more to the recent bombing and shooting attack in Norway by a Norwegian who claimed to be allied with some of the most extreme views in Israel
"Following the Oslo bombings and shootings, a number of Hebrew-language websites were experiencing schadenfreude, which is a German word that means taking malicious pleasure in someone else's misfortune.
While Israeli English sites expressed ‘sympathy' for Norwegian victims, Hebrew bloggers said Norway got what they deserved for backing Palestine."
So stated Dr. Alan Sabrosky to this writer during a July 26 interview.
Sabrosky received the U.S. Army War College's Superior Civilian Service award for his service as director of strategic international studies. Also, as an outspoken critic of Israel's pivotal role in the 9-11 terror attacks, Sabrosky is well versed in these types of operations.
When analyzing Anders Breivik, Sabrosky began:
"I'm not certain, but it's my impression that his politics are in the vein of Benjamin Netanyahu and [Israeli Foreign Minister] Avigdor Lieberman. To understand the Israeli political spectrum, their right wing isn't conservative in an American sense."
To illustrate the bloodthirsty nature of these Zionist extremists, Sabrosky said of Lieberman: "He'd carry out a policy of ethnic cleansing in a heartbeat. Similar to 9-11, they could easily do these horrific mass murders, much like what happened at Dresden and Nagasaki during World War II."
It may be difficult for most people to understand such inhumane savagery. Sabrosky continued:
"The world view of someone like Avigdor Lieberman is not in our political spectrum. Their mind set—this nuclear-armed state—is rooted in Old Testament books like Deuteronomy and Judges. Akin to The Exodus Song, they say:
‘This land is mine,' period."
In regard to the latest terror attacks, when seeing Norway's prime minister and foreign minister visibly supporting the Palestinian people, those who viewed such actions as a threat unleashed an undeniable ruthlessness.
According to Sabrosky: "Israel sees enemies out there, and they have no problem killing them. At the Labor Youth League camp, they shot up a group that was pro-Palestinian. Breivik wasn't murdering Norwegian kids because they were Muslims, and they didn't shoot up a mosque. So, this rampage wasn't about Islamophobia. It went well beyond that. Norway's pro-Palestinian position was well known, so this train may have been in motion for quite a while, especially since Norway's prime minister met with Mahmoud Abbas only three days earlier."

Like yelling fire in a theater where the crowd is long gone and the building is already a pile of ash, the scientific community's warning of the dangers of human-animal hybrid experimentation may be too little, too late.
In a new report, scientists are warning that science fiction could become science fact unless some safeguards are put into place.
The UK Daily Mail reported, "Prof. Martin Bobrow, a medical geneticist at Cambridge University and co-author of the report, said society needed to set rules before scientists began experiments that the public would find unacceptable."
He explained, "We are trying to get this out in the open before anything has happened."
Using the forthcoming film Rise of the Planet of the Apes as a point of reference, the story sources Prof. Thomas Baldwin as saying: "The fear is that if you start putting very large numbers of human brain cells into the brains of primates, suddenly you might transform the primate into something that has some of the capacities that we regard as distinctively human—speech—or other ways of being able to manipulate or relate to us. These possibilities that are at the moment largely explored in fiction, we need to start thinking about now."
There are two different aspects of research that are relevant
to the warning: A creation referred to as a "chimera"
where full DNA is used from two separate and individual animals
to create a new one, and a hybrid
where genetic parents each contribute half of the genes.
The word chimera has it origins in Greek mythology, the name of a fire-breathing creature described by Homer in the Iliad as being "lion-fronted and snake behind, a goat in the middle."
However, science lauded the first modern chimera in 1984 when scientists from the Institute of Animal Physiology in England created one from a sheep and a goat.
National Geographic reported: "Chinese scientists at the Shanghai Second Medical University in 2003 successfully fused human cells with rabbit eggs. The embryos were reportedly the first human-animal chimeras successfully created. They were allowed to develop for several days in a laboratory dish before the scientists destroyed the embryos to harvest their stem cells."
The aforementioned story also quotes Jeremy Rifkin, a biotechnology activist, as saying: "One doesn't have to be religious or into animal rights to think this doesn't make sense. It's the scientists who want to do this. They've now gone over the edge into the pathological domain."
In 2005, The Sun newspaper ran a story that shows what scientists have tried to accomplish in the past.
"Soviet dictator Josef Stalin ordered his scientists to cross humans with apes to create an invincible breed of Red Army soldiers, secret documents show," reported the Sun. The experiment, taking place in the 1920s, ultimately failed.
The newest warning, according to the Daily Mail, states, "Animals containing human material that approach ethical or regulatory boundaries" should be monitored, and research that "engenders human-like behavior" should be made illegal.
However, asking scientists and their government grant-writing political overseers to not engage in something that is deemed possible and scientifically interesting is often a lesson in futility. Perhaps if the scientific community cannot rein itself in based on morals and ethics, they can recall the fate of Ilia Ivanov, who headed Stalin's human-ape hybridization project: Ivanov was arrested by Soviet police on Dec. 13, 1930 and was sent to a labor camp, where he died just two years later at the age of 62.

For decades, The Spotlight, The Barnes Review and AMERICAN FREE PRESS have been standing outside the "mass" media. The Key to understanding collectivism can be found in one word - weakness - because individuals are coerced into surrendering their sovereign individuality to the whole, which, in turn, bows to the state - rather than the constitution - as the ultimate law.
The progressive plan to infiltrate U.S. institutions from within and fundamentally transform them was facilitated by a compliant corporate media that championed socialist candidate Obama, whose philosophy is encapsulated in the concepts of big government and social injustice. Both of these notions promote taking by force the earned income of one person and giving it to another - legalized theft.
To accomplish such a feat, collectivists use an array of trickery and deception. Like magicians performing sleight of hand, they divert the citizenry's attention with an illusion while doing the dirty work behind their backs, hidden from public view. As those in disguise amass more centralized control via legislative chicanery, it eventually creates a condition for a Stalin or Mao Tse-tung.
That's why AFP remains a strong, distinct voice amid so many other alternatives that have been coopted and compromised by the perpetual infiltration of cultural Marxist that seek a victimized populace rather than one that stands defiant against their agenda. A previously secret relationship between the Internet giant Google and the National security Agency (NSA) does not have to be revealed in detail to the public, a federal judge ruled in late July, stating that activities of the NSA that would normally be subject to disclosure can be protected from scrutiny in the name of national security.
When Chinese hackers attacked Google's email system last year, the company admitted in a public statement to having a secret relationship with the NSA in which data on Internet searches and the contents of private email accounts were made available to the U.S. federal government on a regular basis. The Electronic Privacy Information Center then sued under the Freedom of Information Act for government documentation of the relationship.
But federal Judge Richard Leon ruled that the NSA's activities are so intertwined with national security that, "to confirm or deny the existence of any such records would be to reveal whether the NSA determined that vulnerabilities or cyber-security issues pertaining to Google or certain of its commercial technologies could make U.S. government information systems susceptible to exploitation or attack. Even an acknowledgment of a relationship between the NSA priorities, threat assessment or countermeasures."
The decision comes as the Department of Defense has announced
an effort to monitor social media sites for "enemy propaganda"
and suppress or censor any such campaigns, particularly on Facebook.
Under that program, if the government were to determine that
messages on Facebook were being "sponsored by a foreign
enemy," it would have the authority to suppress the information
by deleting accounts and messages deemed "enemy propaganda."
As with Google, this program has Facebook's full cooperation.

Before you set that dining room tale, you might want to pull out an extra plate for Uncle sam. Unless you're growing your own food from unpatented seeds or raising livestock outside the watchful eye of federal regulators, virtually no food products reach the consumer before the government has had a chance to take its unfair share. Rising food prices mean higher taxes, the proceeds of which end up in the deep pockets of central bankers and their fat cat friends of Wall Street.
"They're taking our bacon, milk, steak, potatoes, cheese, rice, beans and butter," says financial analyst Matt Badiali of Stansberry Research. "Next time you're in the grocery store or you eat out, look around and you'll see it."
Badiali rightfully calls this appropriation "a heist" and identifies the culprits as " a small, yet powerful group. Which has little to no oversight or accountability."
He's speaking, of course, about the Federal Reserve. That's not to say that the Feds are actually taking the food right out of your shopping cart. They do that much earlier in the game before it even reaches your grocery store or local diner.
Food manufacturers either eat the losses themselves or pass
their pain onto the consumer. So, Instead of hiking up prices
to reflect the true impact of the Red's reckless fiscal policies,
many businesses are instead opting to disguise the price hikes
by charging the equivalent - or slightly more - for fewer products.
The packaging looks the same, but contains less weight than it
did when the consumer bought it previously.

The U.S. government has developed communications equipment that can make the blind see, the deaf hear and the lame walk. It can relieve the terminally ill of pain without the use of drugs. This equipment depends on a new way of looking at the human brain, neuromuscular system and gigahertz radiation pulsed at ultra-low frequencies. However, this technology can also be used for evil. Some of this equipment is now operational, right down to local police.
Our government now has at its disposal the most cunning torture technology devised by any government in human history. It is truly satanic in its moral and ethical implications. This technology is able to produce enormous amounts of pain using microwave radiation beams, electromagnetic directed energy weapons, pulse weapons, lasers and sound weapons.
Sometimes the pain is specific and describable; more often it is general and indescribable, very much like being immersed in water. Only it isn't water, but more like an electric current passing through the body or holding a finger in an electric socket and being unable to turn off the current. This turture is used for years on end without consent, in the privacy of the targeted individual's home, and can follow the victim wherever he goes.
A skeptic might well ask: If the United States has such equipment,
why is it being used to torture innocents and not real terrorists?
The answer is the cowardice factor. Torturing a man through a
cinder block wall is the ultimate act of cowardice. Its mere
invention is a reflection of the complete moral and physical
corruption of some in American society.

No, that's not some "Nazi" in a B-grade movie, it's the communitarian quotes, summarized, of Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel and of Dr. David Blumenthal, key advisers to President Barack Obama.
Emanuel is the brother of former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, now Chicago mayor. He has been appointed to two key positions: health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of the Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research. Obama appointed Blumenthal to be the national coordinator of health-information technology to make sure doctors obey computer decisions of what "care" the government deems "appropriate and cost effective."
Many people think they don't mean what they say. They think they are just trying to say we have to cut medical expenses. The following are a few of the heartless experiments the U.S. conducted throughout the 19th century:
* In 1908, dozens of orphan children were infected with tuberculin, causing permanent blindness.
* In 1911, 146 children were infected with syphilis to see what would happen.
*Beginning in 1946, the Atomic Energy Commission experimented on students who were fed radioactive oatmeal. After the oatmeal tests were uncovered in the 1990s, the U.S. government settled with survivors for nearly $5 million.
*in the 1940s-1950s, experiments were conducted by Dr Ewen Cameron, depriving patients of sleep, using massive electroconvulsive therapy combined with psychoactive drugs, such as LSD. These experiments were sponsored by the CIA.
This does not mention the hundreds of thousands of GI guinea
pigs over the years exposed to atomic blasts, Agent Orange, Whatever
causees Gulf War syndrome, vaccines and depleted uranium.

There is an array of high-tech populace control weapon devices
that are being used on the American people, and it's time

One control device was featured on the PopSci website: "The U.S. Defense Department has tested some spooky weapons, but those involving mind control and telepathic attack may be near the top of the list. A newly declassified 1998 document released under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act describes potential weapons for crowd control, such as a microwave gun that could beam words silently into people's ears, and an electromagnetic pulse that causes epilepsy-like seizures."
Some of this technology, on a far larger scale, is available to local law enforcement officials. In 2005, the LAPD tested a sonic device capable of projecting sounds on targets a mile away. "There was almost no distortion," explains DefenseTech. "Sounds, especially those in the higher frequency ranges like sirens and screams, were easily detected. "The report also discussed a weapon that can internally heat a victim's body. It also noted that this equipment is currently available and that the results would keep a victim incapacitated for "any desired period consistent with safety."
60 Minutes reporter David Martin subjected himself to a non-lethal beam weapon developed by the Pentagon.
"The gun is really an antenna, which shoots out a high-frequency radio beam that penetrates the skin to a depth of 1/64 of an inch, which is just deep enough to hit the nerves," wrote another reporter who witnessed the event. "It creates an instantaneous sensation of heat, which makes anyone who is hit with it try to get out of the way as fast as possible."

The push for a new "centrist" third party being orchestrated behind the scenes at the highest levels is quietly escalating as the 2012 election cycle gets under way.
As recently as July 25, Chris Cillizza, chief in-house political columnist for The Washington Post, hyped the theme that "advocates of a third party—or at the very least another viable option in the 2012 presidential race—seem to be sprouting up all over."
To many free-thinking Americans, third parties sound like a grand idea (which they are), but the problem—as AFP has been alone in the independent media in pointing out—is that the third party concept being touted by Cillizza has its origins in the elite, high-finance connected circles that already dominate both the Republican and Democratic parties.
In other words, the "centrist" party being promoted is designed to undercut the viability of any serious populist challenge to the power elite who already dominate the political structure in America. In short, it is a "controlled opposition."
Cillizza's influential "must read" weekly "Monday Fix" column—prominently placed each week on page 2 of the Post—featured the headline "Anger at Washington Revives Third-Party Push" and proceeded to describe a number of ongoing activities designed to set a third party in place. Cillizza noted, "Those who closely monitor these third-party efforts say that not only is there an array of groups with similar goals, but there also is money flowing to them from wealthy individuals trying to change the two-party dynamic."
What makes Cillizza's commentary so interesting is the fact that his column ignores that there are already several independent "third parties" that have been in existence for many years. Each of these parties has or has had ballot status at one time or another in all or nearly all of the 50 states. This list includes the Reform Party, the Constitution Party, the Green Party and the Libertarian Party.
While all of these parties differ in philosophy, they do stand as existing alternatives to the two major parties. But it's clear that the Post and other like-minded voices in the controlled media don't approve of these genuine opposition forces. That's one of the foremost reasons why there is a push from the power elite to set up an alternative party that they control.
That the Post is lending its influence to the third party push is significant. Although publicly known as a fiefdom of the heirs of Zionist financier Eugene Meyer, first head of the World Bank and an early Federal Reserve board member, the Post has long been controlled by a tightly knit group of banks in the Rothschild dynasty's sphere of influence whose tentacles can be found, in varying respects, throughout the "centrist" third party scheme now being promoted.
Meanwhile, although former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin remains mum about her 2012 presidential ambitions, the elite media has continued to keep her in the public eye. The wave of rioting by black immigrant thugs in Tottenham, London and other British cities in early August was predictable. For decades now, British nationalists have been warning the government about volatile conditions in slums in and around London and other English and Welsh cities, which have come about as a result of unchecked immigration, thanks to advocates of multiculturalism and "diversity."
London suffered three nights of riots, looting and arson attacks, after a black 29-year-old was allegedly shot to death by police. Reports say there were at least 1,200 arrests, with 44 police officers injured in the riots. At least one man was shot, the angry mob attempted to murder a police officer, and emergency service people were attacked by looters.
Gangs of marauders firebombed police stations and set shops on fire not only in London but in Manchester, Salford, Liverpool, Nottingham and Birmingham.
Prime Minister David Cameron cut short his vacation and recalled Parliament from its summer recess. Around the world, the mainstream media has tried to characterize the riots as being carried out by "disaffected, unemployed and impoverished youths."
In one online report, the UK Daily Mail censored its own news website by taking down a photograph of a white woman who had been forced to strip naked by rioters in an act of humiliation.
The reality is, the overwhelming majority of perpetrators of the violence are blacks, who are targeting young and old white Brits and Asians.
One local British politician remarked: "From grassroots reports we're getting from all over London and from Birmingham, the few photos and passing mentions of the issue that have been carried by the media are only the tip of an iceberg. The truth appears to be that hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of people have been brutally mugged, or had their bikes, cars, shops and even homes attacked because they are European or Asian."
So far, thousands of policemen have been unable to quell the looting, arsons, beatings and property damage. Many in London now support bringing in the British army to stop the unrest.
In the words of UK writer and film-make Brendan O'Neill, the Britain of today is "a place where owning guns is illegal, Christianity is dying, and there's an ineffective police force that can come down harshly on victims who try to fight back against crime. Throw in an economic downturn, high unemployment and a government that doesn't have as much money to hand out as it used to and suddenly you have roaming gangs of godless thugs."

The latest bad news for America's evaporating manufacturing and technology industries comes from the good folks at General Electric (GE) who recently announced that they will be moving the global headquarters of their century old X-ray division from Wisconsin to Beijing. This is all part of GE's larger effort to invest nearly $2 billion throughout the People's Republic of China, where it also plans to open up six new customer innovation and development centers.
GE has defended its recent decision by claiming that no domestic jobs will be lost as a result of the transition. However, GE executives fail to address the future jobs that will now only be available to Chinese workers. GE Healthcare executives admit that they expect to produce 20-25 percent of their products in China over the course of the next two to five years.
GE also fails to address the dangers of exposing sensitive intellectual property and proprietary trade information to a nation that is notorious for counterfeiting. USA TODAY's Calum MacLeod recently wrote about China's growing "shanzhai culture," an element within Chinese society that delights in making cheap knockoffs of brand-name products. MacLeod interviewed Paul Ranjard, an intellectual property lawyer in Beijing, who said, "there is too much tolerance of the shanzhai. It's infringement, but there is an ambiguous attitude" in Chinese society and its courtrooms.
Throughout China, numerous underground manufacturing plants have been discovered that produce facsimiles of everything from Duracell batteries to Apple computers.
It should be quite obvious that U.S.-based companies like GE are literally handing over the blueprints of American technology to the Chinese.
Meanwhile, here in the U.S., GE's physical presence continues to diminish from the American landscape. "GE has closed 29 factories in two years," says Scott Paul, executive director of the Alliance for American Manufacturing. Since 2002, GE has laid off one-fifth of its American workforce despite rising profits and diminishing tax liabilities.
One might think that GE's latest move would provoke a scathing condemnation from the president's new jobs czar, Jeffrey Immelt, who vowed to help create 1 million new jobs by the end of the year. However, such an indictment is not likely to come from Immelt, who not only chairs Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, but is also the current CEO for General Electric!
Though it's hard to imagine a more brazen conflict of interest, it seems to be of little consequence to Immelt, who has no problem holding others accountable to the high standards he refuses to abide by himself.
Last July, Immelt had strong words for a group of businessmen attending a jobs summit at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "The people who are part of the business sector, the people in this room, have to stop complaining about government and get some action underway," he declared.
"There's no excuse today for lack of leadership. The truth is we all need to be part of the solution."
Immelt may find those words easy enough to say, but his company
certainly hasn't put them into practice. Ever since the General
Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) opened the U.S. labor market
to competition from low-wage nations, GE has been one of the
leading outsourcers of American jobs and now employs fewer of
its 304,000 workers at home than it does abroad. Hypocrite Immelt
is largely to blame. Since taking the helm of GE in 2001, he's
hired almost as many people overseas as he's laid off in the
United States.

the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is fighting a lawsuit brought by former Minnesota gov. Jesse Ventura to stop its illegal and intrusive searches of air passengers, claiming it has the right to issue decrees in secret that cannot be challenged in federal court and can only be tried in an appellate court within 60 days of their secret issuance.
The suit began when TSA officials fondled Ventura's private parts during a regular search when his titanium hip set off metal detectors at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport last November.
In his suit, Ventura described the procedures used on him as "demeaning and degrading" while describing body scans as "tantamount to a warrantless, non-suspicions-based electronically recorded strip search." In conclusion, he called the entire episode "the definition of unlawful video voyeurism."
Under new regulations issued by the TSA, TSA officials have the right to inspect the privates of any person passing through airport security to determine if a bomb is hidden there.
In March, the federal government filed papers to dismiss this case, but on July 22 U.S. District Judge Susan Rogers Nelson heard arguments from both sides in a St. Paul courtroom.
Nelson has yet to rule, but Ventura remarked afterward, "I
would rather face terrorists on a daily basis than give up my
rights."

In a bizarre twist on the slaughter of over 67 innocent civilians by a so-called "Christian" Zionist in Norway, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) have begun training sessions for law enforcement claiming that the shooter, whose politics are nearly identical to their own, was a right-wing white supremacist and that similar violence could erupt in the United States from right-wing and nationalist groups.
Supported by the same clique of mostly Jewish billionaires who brought the current communist regime of Barack Obama to power in D.C., the ADL and the SPLC have launched a campaign within local and state law enforcement agencies to demand more money to fight pro-U.S. political organizations that challenge the wisdom of allowing liberals and communists to run the country.
One analyst, former communist Devin Burghart, said that he felt Andreas Behring Breivik "had been influenced by [OKC bomber] Tim McVeigh." However, what went unsaid is that Burghart has a multi-decade history of making up hate crimes and terrorism that began when an organization he was involved with falsely claimed that white supremacists were responsible for a number of arsons of black churches in the rural South.
The SPLC has been implicated in the Oklahoma City bombing. There, the FBI, utilizing an asset developed by the SPLC, provided McVeigh and Terry Nichols with explosives, then "lost Track" of the two, allowing the truck bombing to occur (meanwhile, persons unknown had planted more bombs inside the building). It is believed the FBI was responsible for the murder of Kenneth Trentadue in the Oklahoma City Transfer Center, a federal prison, in order to cover up its involvement in the event.
Similarly, the ADL, has often been involved in false flag terror attacks wherein agents of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency set off bombs or provoke mass shootings in target countries, then blame them on Muslim organizations in order to win public support.
These groups are able to succeed in their efforts because
they have indoctrinated the news media into echoing their line
and supporting the Zionist cause. News organizations lie to the
public on behalf of the political interests that control them,
and are supported by politicians who want to win applause in
the pro-Israeli news media.

Anne-Marie Slaughter, a prominent member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) - a key force in the push for global government - tipped the globalists' hand with her latest book, A New World Order. In another case of the power elite feeling untouchable, Mrs. Slaughter openly admits to an agenda of global rule and even suggest ways to accomplish such a coup.
Mrs. Slaughter claims it would be possible to "create a genuine global rule of law without centralized global institutions." As a vehicle to reach this desired end, she suggests that "the world needs global governance to combat problems that jump borders, like crime and environmental degradation." Mrs. Slaughter seems to feel that her system would allow for this final power grab without any of the negative connotations associated with the phrase "one world government."
According to Mrs. Slaughter, only the ruling hierarchy knows what's best for the people. It would be on a par with parents having a discussion about their children while the kids are in the room, talking about them but never to them.
Mrs. Slaughter has been traveling in powerful circles for quite a while. While dean of Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School, she was publicly criticized for her support of the Bush administration's decisions and its officials. Later, Mrs. Slaughter was appointed by Hillary Clinton to be director of policy planning for the Obama administration. Such crossover appeal to both parties and politicians who claim to be at opposite ends of the spectrum is a hallmark of the elites. Mrs. Slaughter is part of the network of women in Obama administration who advocate U.S. intervention into the affairs of other countries for the purpose of breaking up squabbles or overthrowing governments. This often includes attacking foreign powers militarily, Nothing could be better calculated to make friendly countries hostile.
Mrs. Slaughter's network theory highlights an issue that the elitists can't seem to wrap their brains around: their ideas upset people because there is no consideration of governance of the people, by the people and cerainly for the people.
In a version of the new world order that Mrs. Slaughter postulates,
global rule at various levels would be limited strictly to her
liberal peers. As usual, though, Mrs. Slaughter seems to forget
why they are referred to as elites. It's not because they are
superior, but rather because there are so few of them in the
club. Consequently, they should also remember how vastly outnumbered
they are, and that they are only being permitted to play their
games because the public doesn't know about them, thanks to the
controlled press.

An ongoing legal battle over the privatization of water rights in Michigan is highlighting the growing concern over the global fight to secure access to food and water for all as multinational corporations move to consolidate their power over what people can eat and drink.
Michigan citizens have been battling the high-volume bottling
of water from springs and aquifers underneath the and around
them. The Swiss, Bilderberg-connected
Nestle conglomerate, via its North American operations, is seen
as a water baron that often is given preferential legal treatment
so it can pilfer large quantities of water, bottle it and shop
its Ice Mountain brand of drinking water, mostly out of state.
The small Mecosta County village of Stanwood and the village of Evart in nearby Osceola County first became known as water-wars battlefields when area citizens, 10 years ago, took action to prevent Nestle's excessive water harvesting. Just outside of that small town, the massive food corporation set up shop, extracting and bottling some 700,000 gallons of water a day, piped directly out of aquifers that not only provide water to local citizens but also feed the Great Lakes, the largest store of fresh water on Earth.
In the summer of 2001, referenda in both counties came down heavily against the required zoning changes that would have allowed Nestle to build its water-bottling facilities. The zoning change was rejected by a 2-1 margin. The people had spoken.
While Nestle, not easily defeated did build its facilities, by October 2002 a judge ruled, "Nestle had the right to pump water on a ‘reasonable use' basis, but the company's water withdrawal has harmed, or is likely to harm, the community residents and the environment," according to a presentation by Tony Clarke, director of Canada's Polaris Institute.
Nestle appealed this decision, but the Michigan circuit court ruled in November 2003 to uphold the lower court, even ordering Nestle to halt its Mecosta County water withdrawals. Yet, when Nestle in December 2003 won an emergency reprieve to continue pumping spring water until its appeal of the circuit ruling had been decided the tales began to turn and public opinion has largely cast aside.
That happened when an appellate court "reversed the loser court decision that landowners along streams have legal standing superior to those bottling water and exporting it out of state."
Amid enduring claims that Nestle has its eye on accessing ever-larger water bodies, including the Great Lakes themselves, S.B. 860 was eventually passed 24-14 in the Michigan Senate on May 15, 2008 "to prohibit groundwater withdrawals of more than 2 million gallons per day by industrial or commercial users if these affect various types of surface water resources in ways defined by the bill using factors such as fish populations and water flow levels," explained Michigan Votes.Org. The threshold has lowered to 1 million gallons in some areas of the state, but 2 million in other areas. The amended bill, passed by the House in June 2008, was signed into law that July.
An AlterNet report noted: "The mass extraction of water is endangering environments around the world while at the same time a huge portion of the world's population, including people in the U.S., have trouble accessing clean fresh water." The report also noted that while the state of Michigan gave generous tax breaks to the water bottling company, Ice Mountain paid no more than $85 for a Michigan permit application fee "and with that it can essentially gain billions by selling the water," attorney Scott Howard was quoted as saying.
Across the globe, Italian voters in June 2011 dealt the forces
of privatization (read: globalization) a blow by rejecting legislation
on privatizing water utilities, showing that people - including
those in Michigan - can fight back.

With close to 30 percent of the total votes cast in the Iowa straw poll on Aug. 13, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) won a near tie with Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.).
Only 152 votes separated them—but you would never know
it if you depended on most establishment news media, which
lionized the "top three Republican
contenders," Mitt Romney, Mrs. Bachmann and newcomer Texas
Gov. Rick Perry.
If Obama was the cult leader four years ago, the media's hallelujah
choir is now singing the praises of Perry as the "hope and
change" guy for 2012.
The Texas governor, they claim, is "responsible for more
than 40 percent of all of the new jobs created in America."
But there's trouble in paradise. More than any other single
factor, Perry has immigration to thank for those numbers—most
of it from Mexico. Perry creates jobs by turning Texas into a
Third World country: Texico. Texas also sucks off the federal
teat by taking highway money and Medicaid payments. Texas's budget
gap—$27 billion short of what it needs to maintain its inadequate
services in the next biennium—is among the worst
in the nation.
In other words, Texas has gained at America's loss. Record
oil prices that surged to $145 a barrel in 2008 propped up the
Texas economy, while most Americans were extorted for $4 and
$5 per gallon gas. About 9.5 percent of Texas hourly workers
are paid at or below minimum wage, tying with Mississippi. Low
cost of living also helped to make Texas among the nation's fastest
growing states, with the population jumping 20.6 percent
to 25 million. About 25 percent of those were illegal immigrants.
This steady stream of low-cost labor has combined to fuel above-average job growth. Texas had annual employment growth of 1.15 percent, while the population was growing 1.89 percent every year.
Perry created a number of slush funds. The Texas Enterprise Fund awarded some $412 million in subsidies to companies "to create jobs." But the Texas comptroller found that $119 million of that money went to companies that didn't deliver the jobs they promised. Taxpayer-funded contracts that sent money overseas to create jobs were "disturbing" and "unacceptable."
A second major fund under Perry's control, the Texas Emerging Technology Fund, has also proved controversial. It spent some $320million on tax credits and other subsidies for high-tech companies. The Dallas Morning News found that $16 million was awarded to companies with investors or officers who are large campaign donors.
Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are also big business in Texas. The aerospace, aviation and war sectors have invested more than $900 million in Texas.
When Perry was the state's agriculture commissioner, the federal government paid "farmer" Perry not to farm his 40 acres in Haskell County. Perry was paid $9,624 under the Conservation Reserve Program to leave his land fallow between 1991 and 1998. Perry's tax returns from when he was in the legislature show he received $72,687 in agricultural program payments between 1987 and 1989.
Perry was the front-man for the Bilderbergers to foist the NAFTA Superhighway project—a quarter-mile-wide $184 billion boondoggle of toll roads, rail lines and utilities from the Texas-Mexico border all the way up to the border between Minnesota and Canada—to make it easier to flood America with foreign goods from China.
Perry mandated by executive order that every sixth grade girl, age 11 and up, be vaccinated against a sexually transmitted disease HPV—with Merck's Gardasil vaccine—at a cost of $360 per shot. Gardasil caused many deaths and painful reactions. Lobbyists were paid hundreds of thousands of dollars, and Merck funded Perry's election campaign for years. Thankfully, Perry was forced to withdraw his order after the Texas Legislature blocked him.
Finally, Perry is also a political ally of the corpulent warmonger John Hagee meaning, if he is elected, his foreign policy will further entangle the United States in the Middle East to defend Israel.
Beware of this Texas governor who pledges "compassionate conservatism" but curses you with ruthless, endless wars based on lies, a wrecked economy, Third World servitude and a heartless security police state.

When the Supreme Court removed the last barriers to corporate funding for political campaigns in the infamous Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission case in early 2011, the floodgates were opened for corruption in an electoral system already marred by electronic vote scamming and huge ballot access hurdles for candidates in third parties.
Now, a case involving Republican
presidential candidate Mitt Romney is sparking investigations,
because a shell company was formed by one of Romney's cronies
just long enough to pump $1million into his 2012 White House
campaign before the company was closed down.
The Hill offered some specifics on Aug. 8, noting that "Romney wouldn't condemn Edward Conrad, a former executive at Bain Capital, the company Romney cofounded, for setting up a company to contribute the bulk sum to the Restore Our Future PAC."
Conrad had suddenly confessed that he was the phantom donor who cobbled together W Spann LLC, "a corporation that was founded this year and dissolved shortly after contributing to Restore Our Future, a super-PAC that can receive and spend unlimited amounts of money that was founded by veterans of Romney's 2008 presidential campaign."
The Campaign Legal Center and Democracy 21 have filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and the Justice Department (DOJ) against W Spann. Online news website TPM reports: "the two groups are also asking the FEC and DOJ to formally investigate the activities of the F8 LLC and Eli Publishing L.C. [two more phantom companies] for possible violations of the ban on making contributions in the name of another and for failing to organize and register as a political committee. The groups also want the agencies to look into whether Restore Our Future had any knowledge or involvement in the ‘straw company' donation scheme."
"Why should a corporation be able to do it and not have it be considered illegal?" Carl Person, a New York attorney and a 2012 presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party, told AFP.
If Conrad had contributed $1 million as an individual person, "he would have had to report it as an individual to the Romney campaign," said Person, which then would have to "report it to the FEC." That would be illegal.
Since the last limitations under the 1998 McCain-Feingold campaign finance law were swept away in Citizens United v. FEC, he added, it now could be open season for such hocus-pocus to take place so individuals can channel wads of cash to help corporate-friendly candidates, while posing as a corporate donor. As of now, attorney Person said, "corporations cannot give money directly to a candidate, but they can spend the money themselves to benefit that candidate through advertisements etc."
Romney, who changes positions on many issues like some people change their socks, is clearly of the genus corporation man. He was immersed in the world of business with Bain, while sitting on the boards of directors of other firms, until about 10 years ago before taking a political trajectory—much like that of his father, former Michigan Gov. George Romney, who was an auto executive before going political with an internationalist, pro big business bent.

For several months,
there has been a news blackout in the United States concerning
the devastation and human suffering caused by a 9.0 earthquake
that rocked the east coast of Japan on March 11. The resulting
tsunami claimed nearly 16,000 lives and made hundreds of thousands
homeless.
On the island of Honshu, three reactors at the Daiichi nuclear power facility in Fukushima went into full meltdown. Explosions and fires caused additional damage to other reactors and released vast quantities of poisonous radioactive materials into the environment. Livestock, crops and drinking water within a 75-mile radius of the accident were immediately contaminated. Now, reports of lethal doses of radiation as far as 200 miles away are starting to become more commonplace.
In the United States, a recent report by Janette Sherman, M.D. and epidemiologist Joseph Mangano indicate a 35-percent spike in infant mortality throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Meanwhile, the true extent of the damage and radioactive contamination caused by the Fukushima disaster continues to be downplayed or ignored entirely by the mainstream media. Getting to the truth has been difficult.
"Fukushima is the biggest industrial catastrophe in the history of mankind," says Arnold Gunderson, a nuclear power expert who served as an expert witness in the investigation of the Three Mile Island accident. In an exclusive interview with AFP, Gunderson gives a timely assessment of the ongoing crisis in Japan and aprises us of what he expects to unfold in the future.
"On the bright side, the reactors are in better condition than they've been in the last three months," sayd Gunderson. "Right now, TEPCO has managed to avoid creating new pools of contaminated water by treating existing water through the Areva system."
Areva is a process, devised by a French firm of the same name, whereby radioactive isotopes are bound together by chemicals that are injected into the contaminated water of a reactor's cooling system.
Gunderson continued, "They're cooling the reactors by pouring treated water into the top and onto the floor. That has a tendency to build up lots more radioactivity in the filters that are trapping it, but it's not building up any more water, and that's a good thing because they've run out of space on site."
"What's happening off site is frightening," says Gunderson. "Dangerous levels of radioactive contamination are being found in kids' urine, mothers' breast milk and animal meat. I'm estimating that over the course of the next 20 years, there'll be a million cancers. If they're not caught soon enough, many of those will be fatal."
"The first cancers will affect the thyroids," Gunderson predicts. "They take about three years. In three to five years it'll move on to the lungs. In the northern prefectures, I expect a 20 percent increase in lung cancers."
Instead of taking steps to raise public awareness about the dangers of exposure to contaminated food products that will contribute to these cancer risks, the Japanese government is doing just the opposite. "They're raising the radiation standards," Gunderson reports. "Before, 600 becquerels [measure of radioactivity] were the most you could have in beef. Now they've raised the bar to 6,000. They're telling people it's safe."
These standards are also being applied to humans. According to Gunderson, "Kids are now allowed to get the same dosages as adult nuclear workers would get in the U.S. It's a complete distortion of radiation physics."
Another recent development that has Gunderson concerned is
the buildup of radioactive sewage that poses a catastrophic risk
to drinking water. "Before the accident, they used to turn
the sewage into building blocks," says Gunderson. "Now
they can't. So they have these enormous
piles of sewage sludge that can't be disposed of. It's not yet
in the ground water, but it's heading that way."
The Japanese have also initiated a campaign to get people to return to homes as close as 20 miles from the site of the accident. They're clearing streets and playgrounds, but everything else is still contaminated.
"On the sides of the roads where the runoff is, we're seeing 50,000- 60,000 becquerels in a pound of dirt," adds Gunderson.
Inside the 20-mile radius, Gunderson said: "It's all ghost towns. No one is walking around except stray dogs and cattle. . . . It's a nightmare."
Though these are disturbing developments in themselves, Gunderson has saved the worst for last. "My biggest concern is that the Japanese are burning rubbish," he says. "Farmers in rural areas are burning their contaminated crops and those in urban areas are burning their trash. If two pounds of material has less than 8,000 becquerels, the government allows it to be burned."
Gunderson says the government also allows blending of highly contaminated material with material that isn't, creating an even more lethal mix that, when burned, revolatilizes the deadly, cancer-inducing cesium. The resulting plumes not only drift into neighboring communities, he said, but are also caught up in wind currents that reach the western coast of the United States and Canada.

The Senate's most globalist-oriented insider, John Kerry (D-Mass.), has been named as one of 12 members of the newly formed "Super Congress" that is programmed to make almost dictatorial budget decisions.
Kerry—a Skull and Bones man, longtime Council on Foreign Relations elitist and a rumored attendee at the 2009 Bilderberg meeting in Greece—is also a cap-and trade proponent who supports the implementation of global warming taxes.
Further evidence of Kerry's New World Order allegiance can be found in his selection of 2004 Bilderberg attendee former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.), who, it is rumored, was selected as his vice presidential running mate by corporate luminary and Bilderberg member James Johnson.
Edwards has since been embroiled in a love-child scandal, in addition to facing a potential prison sentence for improperly using campaign funds as hush money for his mistress, Rielle Hunter. The Federal Election Commission has also demanded that Edwards repay $2.3million to the U.S. Treasury.
Lately, Kerry has made headlines for two questionable statements. First, following prolonged debt-ceiling debates, Kerry took the press to task in no uncertain terms:
"I have to say this to you politely. The media in America has a bigger responsibility than it's exercising today. The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it."
In other words, Kerry wanted the media to deny First Amendment rights to those who demand that the government should actually be forced to spend within its means.
Then, despite President Obama adding more to the national debt—in inflation-adjusted dollars—every four days than Presidents Truman and Eisenhower did from 1950 to 1960, Kerry attributed Standard & Poor's credit downgrade of the U.S. to a different source: "I believe this is, without question, a tea party downgrade."

On the heels of an
official U.S. operation where federal agents allowed U.S. guns
to fall into the hands of known criminals, the question that
is now being asked is: Did drug enforcement agents look the other
way as their informants smuggled tons of illegal narcotics into
the United States?
According to a recent discovery motion filed on behalf of Vicente Zambada-Niebla, a top lieutenant for Mexico's notorious Sinaloa drug cartel who now stands trial in Chicago on a variety of narcotics trafficking charges:
"The United States has a policy of entering into agreements with individuals who they know are violent narcotics traffickers, so long as those persons are willing to provide information against other drug traffickers."
Zambada-Niebla's defense attorneys are seeking documents that prove U.S. federal agencies provided benefits, including immunity, to cartel members that were willing to provide information against rival drug gangs.
These court documents highlight the story of Mexican attorney Humberto Loya, a high-ranking Sinaloa cartel member who is also a close confidant of Zambada-Niebla's father, Ismael "Mayo" Zambada-Garcia. Both Loya and Mayo were indicted for their participation in a massive drug trafficking conspiracy in 1995. However, the case was dismissed in 2008 after it was revealed that Loya had served for 10 years as an informant for U.S. law enforcement.
The documents allege that sometime prior to 2004, the U.S. government entered into an agreement with Loya and the Sinaloa cartel. Under that agreement, the Sinaloa cartel, through Loya, was to provide information about rival gangs to the U.S. government. In return, the government agreed to dismiss its case against Loya and not to interfere with his drug trafficking activities and those of the Sinaloa cartel.
Mike Levine is a former DEA agent who has been called "America's top undercover cop" by such mainstream media outlets as 60 Minutes. He recently spoke with this reporter and was asked if the allegations by Zambada-Niebla have any merit.
"Agents who handle informers on big cases—some of them, not all of them—are self-interested," said Levine. "They really don't care about anything but using the informant to generate career points. They get promoted based on intelligence reports they get from informers, and they look the other way on almost anything."
Levine added: "You can't do much more damage to the United
States. Cops and agents try to get an ounce off the street while
the CIA smuggles in 27 tons of cocaine. It's really sad."

A disturbing trend emerging across the nation is the emergence of black "flash mobs" that attack whites, even using Internet technology to help them organize their assaults.
Liberal commentators either ignore the phenomenon or use excuses of economic woes to justify the overtly racist behavior. These incidents are being given tepid coverage on an overall basis by the mainstream media that won't allow honest discussion of this savagery. Of course, these same media outlets that give scant attention to black-on-white violence regularly give nonstop coverage to rare instances of white-on-black attacks.
Law enforcement outposts across the country, who in the past have been ordered to downplay black-on-white attacks while fully prosecuting any white-on-black, are now reluctantly being forced to use "hate crime" statutes against blacks in their communities.
As reported by AFP, hundreds of black youths violently attacked Caucasian strangers at they were exiting the Wisconsin State Fair in early August, pulling them out of their cars and off motor cycles, then punching and kicking them. On f the arrested black teens corroborated several eyewitness accounts by saying that he personally selected whites because they were "easy targets."
Local police now admit the attacks were racially motivated and should be prosecuted as hate crimes, although, according to The Christian Science Monitor, "Two similar attacks earlier this year in Milwaukee did not result in hate crime charges against the suspects.
Condemnation has come from many corners, including Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wis.), who dispatched state troopers to the fair and required teens to have adult chaperones after dark. Even Milwaukee's City Council president, who is black, said, "Hate crime enforcement must take place."
Similar incidents unfolded in Philadelphia, Pa., although the methods used by blacks to organize their attacks against whites differed.
In Milwaukee, the attacks took place impromptu, by word of mouth, after blacks, who were initially beating on each other, switched their energies toward white fair goers. However, attacks in the City of Brotherly Love employed a more sophisticated tactic to organize the violence: Internet social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter, accessed through cellular telephones.
A new term has been coined to describe the bringing together of many people for illegal or provocative purposes: "flash mob." A similar term, "flash rob," was coined to describe a phenomenon where groups of youths organize to loot retail establishments, such as convenience stores, many time in broad daylight while defenseless clerks look on helplessly. In nearly every instance of this modern-day hooliganism, black teens were the perpetrators. In mid-August, a flash mob looted a 7-11 store in Germantown, Md. Although captured by surveillance cameras (also on YouTube), police are not actively pursuing the criminals.
Black-on-white flash mob attacks in Philadelphia have been frequent and violent enough that the city's black mayor, Michael Nutter, instituted street patrols and a weekend curfew for teens aged 13 to 18 in the areas most affected. Although similar incidents have occurred over the past two years, Nutter delivered some particularly harsh words to these marauders, saying they were "damaging their own race."
Nutter also took aim at absentee fathers.
"A particular problem in the black community is we have
too many men making too many babies that they don't want to take
care of," he said. Encouraging fathers to get involved with
their kids, he threatened criminal charges for those who act
more like "sperm donors" rather than parents.

Google, the Internet giant, is now engaging in Quasi-governmental police-state-style activity, harnessing its considerable influence and wealth to challenge what it refers to as "extremism."
Although it's popular in this day and age to oppose "extremism," the truth is that the media and powerful international plutocratic interests append this label to any group or individual that challenges the global power elite and its drive for a New World Order.
Through the aegis of its front group, Google Ideas - a so-called "think tank" - recently set up an international conference in Dublin, Ireland, dubbed the Summit Against Violent Extremism (SAVE), where it gathered together an odd mix of more than 200 attendees, including "80 former Muslim extremists, neo-nazis, U.S. gang members and other former radicals," to hammer out ways to use technology to enforce what Google calls global "deradicalization."
To understand the nature of Google's scheme is relatively
simple when one considers the fact that the individual in charge
of 
the venture is Jared Cohen.
A youthful former state Department policy planning staff official in both the Bush and Obama administrations, Cohen also happens to be an adjunct fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the New York offshoot of the London-based Royal Institute of International Affairs that functions as the foreign-policy arm of the global Rothschild banking dynasty. In fact, on June 25 The Washington Post reported that CFR was responsible for helping organize the Dublin conference.
Likewise, it is no coincidence that Cohen was a Rhodes scholar at Oxford University in England, having been indoctrinated by the scholarships - funded by the trust of longtime Rothschild front man Cecil Rhodes - which advocate the concept that the United States should be reunited with Great Britain which (since the early 19th century) had fallen under the control of the Rothschild interests and whose vaunted empire (enriched by the looting of the world's resources) was the source of much of the Rothschild family's wealth.
At the State Department, Cohen used his conceptions to assist Iranian dissidents (also supported by Israel intelligence) fighting to dislodge Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
In recent years, major players on the global stage charged with anti-Semitism and "radicalism," such as Ahmadinejad, have challenged - and are targets of - the New World Order.
In Superclass: The Global Power Elite and the World They Are Making - a volume acknowledging the influence of such New World Order institutions as the CFR - author David Rothkopf writes approvingly of this new global "superclass." He says the 21st century's "political fault line" will be a battle of globalists vs. nationalists and that there is an emerging "global network of anti-globalists opposing the aims of this superclass.
Rothkopf specifically named three figures among this small group of leaders challenging the New World Order: Ahmadinejad, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and Russian Prime Minster Vladmir Putin. To that list we add such others as Malaysia's valiant Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, no-nonsense Alexander Lukashenko of Belarusand and Syria's courtly Bashir Assad.
Rothkopf's opinions are no idle chatter. He speaks from very real insider status, being a member of the superclass himself. He served as managing director of Kissinger Associates, the international consulting firm of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, one of the foremost modern-era architects of the New World Order.
Today we find Google joining the effort to combat nationalists,
populists and others who are deemed "radicals. "Those
concerned with Google's already-notorious censorship of the Internet
should be more concerned than eve. Google's SAVE scheme appears
to be the opening salvo in a major, well-funded, carefully crafted
campaign to save the New World Order from its foes.

Ohio Secretary of State John Husted (R) has busted down third parties in that state at a time when public confidence in the nation's two dominant parties has been slipping away amid endless wars and economic turmoil. Husted wrote in an Aug. 5 letter to the state's Libertarian Party that a widely despised state bill, H.B. 194, means that all minor parties have lost their statewide ballot access, effective Sept. 30.
"In Husted's reading of H.B. 194, the Libertarian, Green, Socialist and Constitution parties have been on the ballot since the 2008 election will have to start over to gain ballot access that they already held undera federal court ruling," the website FreePress.org noted.
On Aug. 9, Ohio's Libertarian Party filed a lawsuit for First Amendment rights and voting freedom, seeking to overturn the unsurprisingly short turnaround for collection ballot access signatures as mandated in H.B. 194, which - as is typical of the two-party machine - places overly tight time limits for petition signature-gathering.
"Former Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner spoke on Talktainment radio Aug. 10 and was critical of Husted's letter, arguing that it was a waste of taxpayers' money to force the minor parties to sue to gain ballot access," Freepress.org also noted
"It's an unfortunate waste of taxpayer dollars. The minor parties should prevail. But Husted's office will have to pay the bill out of their budget," she was quoted as saying.
Richard Winger runs the highly informative online newsletter Ballot Access News that chronicles the efforts of third parties not only to achieve, but more importantly to maintain, ballot access.
Winger exposes apparatchiks such as Husted who toil to maintain the current two-party trap. He also tracks the many lawsuits filed by third parties as they try to fight back against the two-party machine that operates as one, giving Americans the deceptive "conservative-liberal" political theater that makesit seem like these parties offer voters real, distinct choices that could lead to dramatic, genuine changes for the better.
The two-party duopoly gave us war-mongering Republican George W. Bush in the White House and then promised "change" under democrat Barack Obama. Voters thought that would mean less war. But Obama has involved the U.S. military in even more countries. Now, with anger brewing against the duopoly, the Democrats and Republicans cannot allow other parties to become an effective pipeline for filling local, state and federal seats with people who have better ideas.
The political establishment's relationship with minor parties
has almost always been rocky, and election officials in most
states have installed and upheld unfairly high thresholds for
third parties to gather enough valid signatures of registered
voters to gain or maintain ballot access. The current Ohio situation
is a grim reminder of this reality.

Could automobiles be getting 100 miles per gallon of gasoline if it weren't for overt manipulation by car makers and Big Oil? According to filmmake Jeremy Wagener, co-director of the documentary GasHole, in the 1940s inventors using a water-injected carburetor inside a 1946 Buick Roadmaster attained nearly that efficiency. Shortly thereafter, Shell Oil purchased the patent but never developed it. Ultimately the company buried this technology.
In the early 1970s, El Paso mechanic Tom Ogle created a nearly pollution-free vapor engine that surpassed the 100-mpg threshold. After Texas newspapers covered his accomplishment, authorities found Ogle dead in the desert, reportedly of a drug overdose.
During an Aug.9 interview, Wagener told this writer, "People close to Ogle think he was assassinated. A shooting incident occurred a week before Ogle's death, and after these shots were fired at him, Ogle received police protection."
Another mysterious death is attributed to Rudolph Diesel, whose namesake engine at first didn't use fuel extracted from crude oil, but instead relied on vegetable oil, an early version of 21st century bio-fuels. While on a cruise in 1913 prior to opening a factory that would build his engines, Diesel was lost at sea. Later his body was pulled from the English Channel.
As further proof that energy consumers are being duped, GasHole directors Wagener and Scott Roberts obtained a a 1974 book published by Shell Oil entitled Fuel Economy of the Gasoline Engine where they revealed some startling results: A 1947 Studebaker got an amazing 149 miles per gallon.
When asked if he felt cars today could also be hitting triple digits in regard to fuel mileage, Wagener replied, "If we were able to fully unleash American innovation, we could certainly be getting at least 100 miles per gallon since engineers have already been working on this since the 1940s. But technology is suppressed all the time.
The exploitation of this supposedly scarce crude oil doesn't end with automobiles. Wagener also pointed out, "Not one new refinery has been built in the U.S. for 30 years even though demand has slyrocketed. In fact oil companies have actually cut back on their refining capacities to increase profits. California refinery before being threatened with lawsuits."
In this context, Wagener described what he learned while making this film: "The price of a barrel of oil is not the true price or true reflection of supply and demand or the cost of producing this product and bringing it to market. It's influenced by other factors, and that's why it is difficult for consumers to determine what causes prices to go up and down."
When questioned about the identity of these hidden influences, Wagener specifically named lobbyists bor Big Oil, various legislative boards with unelected members, collusion between auto manufacturers and energy companies, and the undue influence exerted upon lawmakers.
Wagener proceeded to paraphrase the words of Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M.): "If you go into Congress and fight Big Oil, they spend tons of money on your opponent to get you unelected. But if you're a friend these same companies spend lots of money to keep you in."
AFP asked Wagener about John D. Rockefeller's famous quote, "Competition is a sin."
Wagener replied, "That's what our problem is. I don't fault anyone for making money, but I'm afraid that the free market isn't free. That's what the real issue is."
