Barack Obama, once
hailed as the anti-war president, was awarded the Nobel Peace
Prize for—supposedly—his extraordinary efforts to strengthen
international diplomacy and cooperation between people. Of course,
this dog-and-pony show—complete with empty promises to bring
home the troops—was conducted as an apparent outreach to
the Muslim world and peace-loving U.S. taxpayers, and a supposed
attempt to curb nuclear proliferation.
But, in light of Obama's continued illegal aggression against sovereign nations, Bolivia's President Evo Morales stated that Obama's peace prize should be revoked. Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, Nicaragua's Daniel Ortega and Cuba's Fidel Castro have made similar statements.
Additionally, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, head of Russia's Liberal Democratic Party, has also called for Obama's Nobel Prize to be revoked.
So, what could explain President Barack Hussein Obama's decision to continue U.S. hostilities against a sovereign nation past a deadline spelled out in the War Powers Act of 1973, commonly referred to as the War Powers Resolution? Since recent polls show strong opposition to American intervention in Libya, if Obama isn't working for the American people, then who is his employer?
Revelations unveiled in The New York Times last week detail how the president "rejected the views of top lawyers at the Pentagon and the Justice Department" and "decided that he had the legal authority to continue American military participation in the air war in Libya without congressional authorization."
This decision was based on Obama's belief that the United States military's activities "fell short of hostilities."
Libya isn't the only sovereign nation being subjected to the war president's overt and covert U.S. military actions. In May, Stars and Stripes, the official newspaper of the U.S. armed forces, reported that despite the alleged death of Osama bin Laden, the U.S. is intensifying drone attacks in Pakistan. According to the article, "The U.S. started drone attacks in the Pakistani region in 2004; the numbers have continued to climb over the years, with 38 in 2008, 52 in 2009 and 132 in 2010."
Yemen is also in the war president's sights. According to Voice of America (VOA), the official overseas broadcaster of the U.S. federal government, the CIA "is building a secret air base in the Middle East to use for armed drone attacks on terrorists in Yemen which could be operational by the end of the year."
This on top of stepped-up air raids in that sovereign nation by U.S. drones and fighter jets.

Barack Obama says the U.S. role in invading Libya is not a "war" because it is limited to air strikes. If so, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941 was not "war," because Japan had no boots on the ground.
Patriots now know that President Franklin D. Roosevelt baited the Japanese into attacking Pearl Harbor as a means of getting the U.S. into what became World War II. By going to war, the Great Depression could be ended as 12 million men got jobs carrying guns and millions more would be employed making tanks, jeeps, planes, bombs, bullets, bayonets and other war materiel. This also benefits Bilderberg and similar groups, which are heavily invested in manufacturing goods to kill people.
"Americans buy war like children gobble candy,"
laughed Henry Kissinger, longtime Bilderberg luminary. "Of
course, Baracky [President Obama] has to be publicly reluctant
to go to war, but we can depend on him."
(Bilderberg words come from an inside source whose information
has been accurate time after time.)
But Bilderbergers are frankly worried that their campaign to expand the Libyan invasion into a big bloodletting in the Middle East faces difficult obstacles. Obama's claim that the invasion of Libya is not "war" is an effort to avoid complying with the War Powers Act that requires Congress to approve military action 60 days after the guns fire. But bipartisan opposition is emerging in Congress.
House Speaker John Boehner threatened to withhold funds for the war, suggesting Congress could take action at any moment: "We have got drone attacks under way, we're spending $10 million a day. We're part of an effort to drop bombs on Qadaffi's compound. It doesn't pass the straight-face test."
Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) a decorated combat veteran and member of the Armed Services Committee, scoffed at the "not at war" claim. "Spending a billion dollars and dropping bombs on people sounds like hostilities to me," he told Associated Press. "That this is ‘not a war' insults our intelligence," said Rep. Tom Rooney (R-Fla.). "I won't stand for it, and neither will my constituents." Finally, Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) called the no-war claims "really, totally bizarre."

The Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant in eastern Nebraska, on the disappearing banks of the flooding Missouri River, has been at a Level Four emergency since early June, and the mainstream media is mysteriously quiet about it. Except for local Omaha TV coverage, little has been reported, and the mainstream continues to minimize this story.
An electrical fire in the basement on June 6 caused evacuation of the plant, and a large section was rendered inaccessible because of poisonous gases being emitted. The next day, the rising river waters caused the plant's basement to flood.
Outspoken Arnie Gundersen, a nuclear engineer with long experience in containment, is warning of the perils and is particularly concerned about the possibility of a dam breaking and the complete wipe out of the plant.
He testified last year before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards on the potential of disasters spreading radioactive material far and wide.
Considerable amounts of toxic waste have been accidentally spilled into the Missouri River in recent days, and the water (already surrounding the building) is expected to rise another five feet this summer.
Officials say there is no threat to plant employees or the general public, but locals are concerned that officials always say that. The Omaha Public Power District made the same declaration in late May, but now the situation has worsened significantly.
On June 19, plant officials declared a "Notification of Unusual Event," due to flood water levels of 42.5 feet or 899 feet above sea level. (The plant was built at 903 feet above mean sea level, which is 13 feet above the natural grade.) If the river's level increases to 900 feet above sea level, plant personnel will barricade internal doorways as another layer of protection for facility equipment. At 902 feet above sea level, the plant would be taken offline as a protective safety measure.
Radiation is still streaming from Japan's Fukushima disaster nearly four months after the disaster, and its owners have finally admitted that meltdowns indeed did occur, releasing deadly radioactivity that winds and ocean currents are spreading worldwide.
The World Health Organization, the American Nuclear Society and other so-called watchdog groups such as the Nuclear Energy Institute have all joined the denial group. "For anyone outside Japan there is currently no health risk from radiation leaking from the nuclear power plant," insists Gregory Hartl, a WHO spokesman.
"They're lying," says Dr. Janette Sherman, a toxicologist and contributing editor of the book Chernobyl: The Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and the Environment.
Using medical data obtained between 1986 and 2004, its authors calculated that 985,000 people died worldwide from the radioactivity discharged from the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. Dr. Sherman says Fukushima will have just as big an impact.
The Fukushima disaster will have a comparable toll, expects Dr. Sherman, who has conducted research into the consequences of radiation for decades.
Joseph Mangano, executive director of the Radiation and Public Health Project, added: "The absurd belief that no one will be harmed by Fukushima is perhaps the strongest evidence of the pattern of deception and denial by nuclear officials in industry and government."

Obama wants your guns, and he's determined to get his hands on them no matter what kind of dirty tricks he has to pull. If that means deploying fake al Qaeda actors to read from a script and perform in a slick, choreographed, Hollywood-esque anti-gun commercial—so be it.
The latest propaganda couldn't be more obvious. In a video that surfaced on June 4 entitled Do Not Rely on Others: Take the Task Upon Yourself, American-born Jew turned Islamo bogeyman Adam Gadahn (aka Adam Pearlman) calls on Muslims living in the U.S. to stockpile weapons for lone wolf-style attacks on American and Zionist targets.
Sporting a disheveled beard and dressed in stereotypical Arab garb, Gadahn looks like something straight out of central casting. At one point during this nearly two-hour presentation, the scene cuts from Gadahn to professional footage of an unidentified American gun show. His narration continues in voiceover as he says, "America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms. You can go down to a gun show at the local convention center and come away with a fully automatic assault rifle, without a background check, and most likely without having to show an identification card."
If Gadahn is supposed to be the savvy leader of radical Islam,
as the mainstream media would have us believe, he's certainly
dropped the ball on this one. So-called violent jihadists who
take his lead will be disappointed to learn that U.S. gun laws
strictly prohibit the sale of fully automatic assault rifles
without a class 3 federal firearms license. But then again, Gadahn
has no real followers, and his intended audience is not U.S.
Muslims. Instead, Gadahn's words are intended to stoke the fears
of gullible Americans who fear Muslims, guns or both.
This most recent video comes just days after the U.S. Department of Justice held the first in a series of meetings to explore new ways for the Obama administration to bypass congressional oversight and enact severely restrictive gun control regulation by executive order.
Last April, The Washington Post reported on a meeting between White House press secretary Jim Carney and anti-gun activists Jim and Sarah Brady. During that meeting, Obama allegedly dropped in and told Mrs. Brady that the issue of gun control was very much on his agenda.
"I want you to know that we are working on it," Brady recalled the president telling them. "We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar."
Gadahn was born Adam Pearlman. His father, Phil, was a fairly well known musician who was heavily involved in the psychedelic music scene during the 1960s, but the family name was changed from Pearlman to Gadahn by his father in reference to Gideon, the biblical guerrilla warrior who defeated Israel's enemies.
In 1995, Adam moved in with his grandparents in Santa Ana, Calif. His grandfather was Dr. Carl Pearlman, a prominent urologist and a former board member of the Anti Defamation League (ADL) whom colleagues have described as a secular Jew and a strong supporter of Israel. It was here that Adam is said to have become interested in Islam after supposedly discovering it on the Internet. He converted to Sunni Islam at the age of 17 and is described as a "homegrown" terrorist, meaning that he is willing to harm his own country in defense of his ideology.
Adam is said to have made a pilgrimage to Pakistan shortly after his conversion. If true, Gadahn managed to align himself with the mythical CIA creation known as al Qaeda, and in an extraordinarily short period of time rose through the ranks to become the group's senior operative, cultural interpreter, spokesman, media advisor and one of Osama bin Laden's most trusted right-hand men.
Since 2004, Gadahn has appeared in more than a dozen videos spewing the most vicious, provocative and fiery rhetoric against Western leaders and those he describes as "Zio-crusaders." In 2006, Gadahn was indicted on charges of treason and material support to a terrorist organization. He is currently on the FBI's most wanted list.
Gadahn joins a long list of contemporary and historic Jewish operatives who have assumed the identity of Muslims in order to carry out covert operations that were later blamed on Islam. The most notorious example is the 1954 false flag event known as the Lavon Affair, wherein Israeli operatives planted several bombs in buildings throughout Egypt, including one at a U.S. diplomatic facility, leaving behind evidence that implicated Muslims as the perpetrators.
Yousef al-Khattab is a more recent example. His website RevolutionMuslim.com—which lampooned the killing of U.S. soldiers in Iraq and mocked the beheading of American journalist Daniel Pearl—was originally believed to have been maintained from a safe house in Pakistan. It was later revealed that al-Khattab was actually the American Jew Joseph Cohen, who ran the website from his home in the New York City borough of Queens.

St. Moritz, Switzerland - Benjamin Fulford - a chronicler of the elite who has directly interviewed bilderberg group elder David Rockefeller - has alleged in his online newsletter that the 2011 bilderberg meeting broke up earlier than ever before "because prominent participants, including Henry Kissinger, faced imminent arrest."
The Bilderbergers, amid heavy news coverage that also exerted pressure on the group, retreated from the Suvretta House hotel before 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 12. The tradition had been to leave after a Monday morning breakfast. Fulford's claim is based on "sources in the Swiss-based Bank for International Settlements and CIA."
Since Kissinger was on the official 2011 Bilderberg list, this reporter led a small independent news team June12 and approached Swiss police at the hotel's security gate to ask them about a reported Spanish warrant for Kissinger's arrest for alleged war crimes, and whether action might be considered.
This followed Swiss legislator Dominque Baettig's effort to prevent bilderberg from holding its meeting in Switzerland. His earnest but unsuccessful effort to protect Switzerland included voicing the same concerns over Kissinger.
Police at the gate were mum, so AFP called the local police station, whose spokesmen indicated that no action would be taken regarding Kissinger, a former U.S. secretary of state and internationalist elder.
HUGE ANTI-BILDERBERG CROWD
Police estimate that more than 1,000 activists participated in anti-Bilderberg activities this year. Throngs of nationalistic youth, many under age 30, energetically protested this year's exclusive gathering of the secretive internationalists. The Bilderbergers meet annually behind a ring of armed guards to plan global policies undemocratically - and they hate public scrutiny.

While the Obama White House has promised to pull troops out of Afghanistan, it's busy spending billions of dollars on secret wars in Yemen and Somalia's Horn of Africa. As part of their strategy, it has authorized substantial increases in Special Operations assets and has provided the CIA with authority to launch unlimited drone strikes.
The secret wars have been taking place against a backdrop of attempts by a majority of the tribes in Yemen to overthrow a corrupt regime and by Muslim groups in Somalia to get rid of a government they believe is too pro-Western.
The White House defends these shadowy wars by claiming al Qaeda has bases there. So-called conflict experts in organizations linked to the Pentagon argue that al Qaeda fighters in Yemen and Somalia are linked with a Somali group called Shabab and jointly represent a serious threat to the security of the United States. Trusted commentators dismiss that analysis, pointing out how al Qaeda may have less than 100 members in Afghanistan, and at most two to three times that number in Yemen and Somalia combined.
The knee-jerk tendency in Washington is to hype perceived terror threats and approve the launching of drone strikes in other countries, even if the likelihood is they will kill lots of innocent people. It has not occurred to Obama that Somalia and Yemen suffered through brutal civil wars, and they have jihadists among their populations like most African nations. The majority of those jihadists have no desire, or the means to attack America.
What is missing in an analysis of Obama's cheerleading of these wars is that there is a geopolitical significance in targeting anti-Western elements in the Horn of Africa. For example, Yemen and Somalia sit on the golf of Aden, a waterway essential to Persian Gulf shipping and within striking distance of Iran. Yemen's population is equally divided between Shiites and Sunnis, with Shiites in the north close to the Saudi border. The Saudis have encouraged Washington and Tel Aviv to see these Shiites as a potential Hexbollah and to target them. Israel and its neo-con backers in Washington have been secretly calling for an increased U.S. military footprint in the region and to tighten its military ring around Iran.
Obama hasn't learned from the mistakes of his predecessors. If anything, he has grown fonder of secret wars. It's worth noting that, as al Qaeda's numbers in Afghanistan have dwindled, the White House has expanded U.S. Special forces operations in Yemen and Somalia.
These may not, however, be the only countries where Obama
is funding secret wars, and in the process shredding the U.S.
Constitution.

As AFP went to press, the House had approved an amendment de-funding the war on Libya where U.S. and other allied forces under the aegis of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have been bombing almost non-stop for nearly three months.
This brutal assault on the northern African nation, allegedly designed to help the forces of freedom topple longtime Libyan ruler Muammar Qadaffi, started out briefly as an announced no-fly zone over Libya amid reports that Qadaffi's government forces were slaughtering those taking part in an uprising against his administration.
But bombs and cruise missiles,
claimed to be the proper tools to aid rebels on the ground, soon
started falling, leading to the death of Qadaffi's youngest son
and three grandchildren. With America's presence also lingering
in Afghanistan and Iraq - costing untold blood and treasure -
Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) Says he has had his fill of an imperial
presidency.
News reports have been scarce regarding the House of representatives' resounding approval of Sherman's amendment to a military bill that would de-fund America's share of war on Libya. A June 14 press release from Sherman's office specified: "By a vote of 248 to 163, the House voted to pass the Sherman amendment to the Military Construction and veterans Affairs Appropriations Bill [HR 2055]. The amendment reads: ‘None of the funds made available by this act may be used in contravention of the War Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1541).'"
"Why is this amendment necessary?" Rep. Sherman asked on the House floor. "Because so many administrations have embraced the idea of an imperial presidency. They've embraced the idea that a U.S. president can send our forces into battle for an unlimited duration, unlimited in scope and for whatever purposes the executive branch finds worthy. This president, like some others, believed he doesn't have to follow the law. The president has been in violation of the War Powers Act for several weeks now."
The act says that if the president commits U.S. forces to battle, he must pull the forces back after 60 days unless both houses of Congress give their approval for the military action to continue.
The president can barely hide his contempt for the very Congress
he was once a member of, especially now that they must approve
the executive branch's use of military force.

In issue #24/25 (June 13&20) of American Free Press we learned that plutocrats from China, India, South Korea, the Arab gulf oil states - and even individual corporations - are buying up vast tracts of land in Africa, south America and Asia. Now we have discovered that it's happening in the U.S. as well.
At the time of this writing, Republican
Governor of Idaho Butch Otter is supporting the idea of selling
American soil to Chinese companies. This land would, in essence,
be owned, operated and directed by communist China.
America is selling its sovereignty in a tale of greed and doplomatic treason. The plan is known as Project 60, and Otter has penned a letter of support for it, writing, "It means jobs and opportunity, hope and independence for the people of Idaho. That's what I want you to think about when you hear about Project 60."
A May 18 article in The Idaho Statesman mentions something that Otter would not want people to think about: citizenship for sale. Chinese business men were touring potential investment opportunities in Idaho, and the Statesman concluded their piece by reporting, "Chinese businessmen investing $1 million for five years in American ventures are eligible to obtain visas granting them permanent status in the United States under rules established by the U.S. Customs and Immigration Service."
On Dec. 31, 2010 the Statesman quoted Lt. Gov. Brad Little: "Idaho's the last state that should say we don't want to do business with Asia. Asia's where the money is."
Little is referring to the Chinese company Sinomach's proposal to build a so-called special Economic Zone that, according to the Examiner, would be "a 50-mile self sustaining city and economic zone" that would "allow a foreign country to create a city and economic zone based on the parameters of Chinese influence, not U.S. sovereignty." The report continues, "The ramifications of this have not been fully expressed in regards to sovereignty for a fully run foreign city on U.S. soil." Incidentally, the Chinese government owns Sinomach.
On June 6, 2010 the Statesman quoted Idaho Commerce Sec. Don Dietrich, who said: "The Chinese are looking for a beachhead in the United States. Idaho is ready to hive them one."
The question of how far-reaching foreign influence would be in a self-sustaining city planned and operating in America by the communist regime must be addressed.
China's abysmal record on issues such as freedom of speech, assembly, religion, media and civil rights has been frequently and painstakingly documented. Freedom House's Freedom in the World 2011 report lists China as "Not Free," stating: "The ruling Chinese Communist Party continued in 2010 to suppress dissent and strengthen is security apparatus while neglecting institutional reforms that would address the root causes of citizens' grievances. During the year, Internet censorship and forced evictions increased, judicial procedures in commercial cases showed signs of political intervention, while leading human rights lawyers were harassed, disbarred and disappeared."
Ironically, Idaho was chosen because of its freedom from oppressive
and intrusive governmental policies. It ranks as the fourth freest
state in America according to a study by George Mason University's
Mercatus Center. It remains to be seen if one of the freest states
contains some of the most freedom-oriented people in America,
with enough patriotism and pride to stand up against these political
betrayals.

Liberalism has reached new levels of absurdity in Toronto, where the sex of a four-month old baby is being kept secret. The baby's parents, Kathy Witterick and David Stocker, have named their baby Storm - a non-gender specific name - in order to keep its gender a mystery,
their plan is to allow the infant to decide on its own whether it wants to be a boy or a girl. They feel that if friends and relatives bring gender-specific presents to the baby such as trucks or dolls or treat it as a boy or girl, they would be forcing the baby to take on a male or female role, thus depriving it of making an unbiased choice.
"What we've noticed is that the parents make so many choices for their children. It's obnoxious," said father Stocker.
"In not telling the gender of my precious baby, I am saying to the world, ‘Please, can you just let Storm discover what he/she wants to be?'" pleaded mother Witterick.
When Johnny Cash sang A Boy Named Sue in 1969, the humor was obvious. Today, it's probably considered politically incorrect, certainly in the Witterick-stocker household. As the legalization of gay marriage is pushed on the American and European peoples as part of an ongoing culture distortion agenda, we are forced to re-evaluate what used to be taken for granted. The publicity given to this story seems to be serving that purpose as it has triggered debate on whether the parents should be locked up in a loony bin or if in fact they are onto something.
Some feel this is a cruel thing to do to a baby. What criteria does Storm use in deciding what to be? How can he/she fell so strongly about their sexuality at such a young age as to o against the natural order? One hs to wonder about the sanity of Storm's parents, and if in fact they are as unbiased as they claim.
Storm has two brothers, also with weird, genderless names. Jazz is five years old and Kio two. While claiming to be a boy, Jazz wears his hair long with bangs and three pigtails. He paints his fingernails, and wears a pink earring with matching pink shorts and pink socks. Kio, another boy, wears purple pajamas and a puffy pink dress and has longish curly blond hair.
Dad is proud to say that they are both "exclusively assumed to be girls." Jazz was supposed to start school this year, but chose to stay home instead. He felt uncomfortable being a girlie-boy. He made the right choice, because his attire is sure to present problems for him in the real world.
Girlie-boy bashing is no longer tolerated, and schools have gay appreciation days, gay parades, gay clubs, gay classes and other gay things. The way things are going, non-cross-dressing heterosexuals will be the ones discriminated against in the near future.
Let's call the Witterick experiment what it is: A rabid, liberal
wife and a brain-dead, neutered husband are ganging up to feminize
their boys and masculinize their girls if any. While deluded
into believing they're really unwitting accomplices in a longstanding,
evil plan. A key part of Western culture's destruction involves
turning white men, once the pillars of the culture, into homosexuals.

When Phoenix, Ariz. Police entered his home, Daniel Rodriguez, 29, told them to produce a warrant. Officer richard Chrisman pulled his weapon, placed it to Rodriguez's head and replied, "We don't need no warrant [expletive deleted]."
Chrisman then tazered the 29-year-old unarmed resident and shot and killed the family dog that was attempting to protect his master. Then, after further harsh words, Chrisman shot and killed Rodriguez. Chrisman's police partner said he saw no reason to feel threatened and that it "was the worst day of my life."
Chrisman was allowed to keep his job even after a grand jury indicted him for murder. As constitutional protections are continually stripped away, police become more brazen and aggressive, and the accurate predictions of patriots who have condemned recent court decisions allowing police to enter homes withut warrants, coupled with the so-called Patriot Act, are being played out daily in this "1984" society.
In April, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that police are no longer bound by Fourth Amendment protection against search and seizure and can legally enter homes without a warrant for no reason beyond "suspicion."
After two years of surveillance in Georgia, and after finally securing an arrest warrant, Drug Enforcement Agency officers and Polk County agents stormed the home of Helen Pruett. Still, by mistake, they ended up at the wrong place. Pruett was home alone when 10 officers entered her property with guns drawn in search of drug dealers. Traumatized, the76-year-old widow suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital after the police chief was kind enough to call an ambulance for the woman they nearly scared to death.
Jose Guerena was a Marine who had recently returned to Arizona from his second tour of active duty in Iraq. Seven weeks ago he was shot 60 times in his living room by a Pima County drug raiding SWAT team. It became another obvious case of mistaken identity when no drugs were found in Guerena's Tucson home.
Rutherford Institute President John Whitehead says: "What stands between us and an authoritarian state is the constitution; but unfortunately, thanks to the Patriot Act, fear is spreading across America as we watch the United States transform into a police state in front of our very eyes."
Even the mayor of tiny Berwyn Heights, Maryland was not immune to murderous police buffoonery. Two years ago, a Prince George's County SWAT team burst into the home of Mayor Cheye Calvo without knocking and shot his dogs to death. Apparently a package of marijuana had been sent to Calvo's home as part of a scheme in which drugs are shipped to unwitting recipients and then intercepted.
Berwyn Heights has its own police force, but Prince Geprge's
County police failed to notify municipal authorities of their
interest in the mayor's home.

The FBI has granted itself new powers in its Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide, particularly the authority to root through garbage and to conduct surveillance of U.S. citizens without internally documenting efforts. Building on a 2008 revision of their manual, FBI agents can monitor the activities of private citizens not engaged in committing crimes, if they believe the individual has expressed strong criticisms of the government.
These new regulations will likely have little effect on the lives of most Americans, as the government already has essentially unlimited access to any public records an individual creates - including everything from the balance and activity in their bank account to the contents of any email account held by a third party - to phone records, including the specific location of your cell phone and, likely, you, at any given point in time. However, what they will do is allow FBI agents to conduct undocumented assessments of private citizens not otherwise under investigation or suspected of illegal activities, including a general power to sift through dumpsters. The lack of documentation means that such records will not be obtainable through the Freedom of Information Act. Chances are good the agents involved will deny any such activities.
Earlier this year, the FBI admitted it had been obtaining
private records of individuals and businesses without judicial
review as mandated by the Constitution. The move is part of a
two-decade-long effort to expand the surveillance powers of the
federal government in the name of fighting domestic terrorist
political opposition that the government has largely created.
The catalyst for this war was the Oklahoma city bombing of 1995,
now largely forgotten in the shadow of the twin towers/Pentagon
attacks of 2001.

Though it has been a slow and often arduous task, American
populists leading the revolt against the intrusive pat-downs
and 
cancer inducing body scanners
of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have made
significant headway in recent months. What began as a grassroots
insurrection against governmental abuse has now attracted the
support of state and federal legislators:
• The Texas House of Representatives attempted to push through legislation that would make it a crime for federal authorities to conduct searches of a passenger's private areas without sufficient probable cause.
• A bill that is now making its way through the New Hampshire state assembly takes it one step further by making the "touching or viewing with a technological device of a person's breasts or genitals by a government security agent without probable cause a sexual assault."
• Lawmakers in Utah are also working on a bill that would eclipse both Texas and New Hampshire by imposing a complete ban on pat-down groping.
• Michigan is the latest to join in on this fight with plans to introduce similar legislation, though not quite as ambitious as the other aforementioned states.
• At the federal level, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah)
introduced a bill in April that would require parental consent
before minors were subjected to pat-downs. This came in response
to public outrage over a video that showed a six-year-old girl
being groped by TSA screeners at a New Orleans airport. TSA caved
to criticism and has modified its policy to reduce—but not
eliminate— the invasive pat-downs of young children. Then,
on June 26 TSA officials frisked a 95-year-old wheelchair-bound
woman and reportedly requested that she remove her adult diaper.
Ever since the Bush administration introduced the TSA into our lives, its unconstitutional practices have become a nightmare for air passengers, slowed commerce to a near crawl, and devastated America's tourist industry. And Americans have obviously had enough.
We're told that it's being done in the best interests of national security, despite the fact that TSA has yet to identify or capture even one terrorist. All TSA has managed to confiscate are thousands of personal property items that are later sold at state surplus stores. According to an article in Austin's American-Statesman, one store in Texas alone generated more than $300,000 in revenue during 2010. Some of the items sold were snow globes, stuffed animals, belts, cell phones, watches, sunglasses and even a couple of bowling balls.
The level of TSA's absurdity has reached epic proportions and, finally, government officials started to take notice—but only after massive pressure from U.S. citizens.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) summed it up during a recent Senate hearing of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. After listening to TSA administrator John Pistole defend the frisking of children, the Republican senator responded with these choice words: "It makes me think you're clueless."

Although Sarah Palin
was not among the seven Republican hopefuls who participated
in the most recent June 13 GOP debates, she would have certainly
found herself right at home with other high-profile politicians
who have already pledged their allegiance to the Zionist agenda.
Aside from Ron Paul, the current lineup of pseudo-conservative presidential wannabes has demonstrated a biased affection for Israel at the expense of all other international relationships, and even over the best interests of the United States.
These Christian politicians even wear Israeli flag pins, yarmulkas and stars of David—whatever they can to convince Jewish voters and Christian Zionists they are on the side of Israel and "the chosen ones."
As an example, ahead of declaring his candidacy for a 2012 presidential bid, Mitt Romney made a trip to Israel to stump for an endorsement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The former governor of Minnesota, Tim Pawlenty, has likewise vowed that the United States will "stand shoulder to shoulder with Israel" if he is elected president. He also recently criticized the Obama administration for "an astonishing unwillingness to stand by Israel at the UN."
Newt Gingrich promises that if he becomes president, he will move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem despite the fact that the international community does not recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and that Israel agreed, upon the founding of the nation, that Jerusalem would forever remain an open city outside of its direct jurisdiction.
During a recent interview, Herman Cain, the former Godfather's Pizza CEO, stated, "let me tell you what the Cain doctrine would be, as it relates to Israel, if I were president: You mess with Israel, you are messing with the United States of America."
In 2003, Rick Santorum suggested that federal funding should be cut to American universities that openly criticize Israel.
Last but not least is the most frightening statement of all coming from Minnesota Rep. Michelle Bachmann, who told the Republican Jewish coalition: "I am convinced in my heart and in my mind that if the United States fails to stand with Israel, that is the end of the United States. . . .We have to show that we are inextricably entwined, that as a nation we have been blessed because of our relationship with Israel, and if we reject Israel, then there is a curse that comes into play."
You can rest assured that no matter which one of these dual loyalists is elected, Israel will continue to receive billions of dollars in foreign aid each year as American taxpayers are left footing the bill and Israel's leaders will continue to receive standing ovations.

As Greece is being led into financial enslavement by a corrupt government in bed with the global banking cartels, increasing numbers of economists are saying that rather than sinking deeper into debt it can never repay, Greece should take control of its destiny and repudiate the unconstitutional debt that it has been saddled with.
Although writers in the alternative press have been floating
this suggestion
for months, mainstream economists are also starting to say the
same thing lately. On June 16, even Allen Mattich of the Wall
Street Journal wrote an article entitled "Greece May View
Euro Exit; Debt Default as Best Option in Financial Crisis."
Mattich stated, "Greeks are growing fed up with austerity
and seem unwilling to take on the still stricter conditions being
demanded of them. Were the Greeks to decide that a euro-exit
was not only possible, but desirable, the core EU, led by Germany,
would almost certainly make huge concessions, including debt
forgiveness. A Greek default and departure from the euro would
risk a systemic crisis across Europe's financial sector."
Economic analyst Max Keiser calls the bankers criminals and suggests that Greece bring back the drachma. He sees what is going on in Greece as part of a worldwide problem of unscrupulous bankers conquering the world through debt.
Debtocracy, a new documentary film by Costas Lapavitsas, an economist and professor in London, makes the best case for repudiating the debt. According to reports, over a million Greeks have seen it on the Internet. A very well-made film, it introduces the concept of "odious debt," established in the 1920s by Russian economist Alexander Sack. Several countries have used this concept to repudiate unconstitutional debts throughout history, including Ecuador, which only paid 20 cents on the dollar to cover its debt a few years ago. When the U.S. occupied Iraq in 2003, they inherited a $120 billion debt that Iraq owed to France and Russia. The debt was declared odious, and the U.S. did not have to repay a dime.
An odious debt conforms to three qualifications: a) The government received the loan without the people's approval; b) The loan was spent for activities not beneficial to the people; and c) The lender was aware of the above yet lent the money anyway, thus committing a hostile act against the people of the target country.
In Greece's case, the whole financial crisis was created by fraud between Wall Street, the IMF, European bankers and corrupt Greek politicians over the past decade. The Greek people clearly do not benefit from these loans as they merely service interest on previous loans. As a matter of fact, no real money was ever loaned. Rather, ledger entries were made marking interest payments as paid. Not a penny of the $150 billion has actually gone to help the people of Greece. Finally, the lenders were well aware of what was being done because they were complicit in defrauding the people of Greece.
The entire financial crisis was manufactured and sold to the public through hype created by the banker-owned international media, with politicians playing scripted roles. The whole thing is a Hollywood production, with the people of Greece serving as hapless victims. If the U.S. government doesn't dramatically curb its spending, we'll be the victims in a future episode.
The banker-owned media places the blame on a bloated bureaucracy and crippled tax system. The clever PIIGS acronym (Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Spain) was crafted to convey the misconception that Greece and other countries are lazy gluttons that squandered mountains of cash. Debtocracy documents how bankers and politicians engaged in wasteful projects in which they benefited while bringing Greece to bankruptcy.
These included bribes and kickbacks from German conglomerate Siemens to build the Athens subway system, in addition to huge spending for the 2004 Olympics. Even worse was many billions for high-priced weapons like airplanes and submarines bought from European manufacturers owned by the same bankers. This type of fiscal manipulation is textbook Economic Hitman material as described by John Perkins.
Greece is the canary in the mine in a bankers' end game. If Greece goes down, it won't be long before our turn comes.

An eye-opening and important (but unfortunately little-noticed) book—first published more than 30 years ago—is finally back in print, and it's available from AMERICAN FREE PRESS. The Search for the "Manchurian Candidate" by former State Department officer John Marks is the one book that puts to rest the old saw that "there's no such thing as mind control."
Not to be confused with the popular political novel —and two Hollywood films based on that novel—which inspired the title of Marks's book, The Search for the "Manchurian Candidate," lays out, in carefully documented detail, the whole bizarre story of the long secret mind control experimentation by the CIA.
Despite the fact
that—at least since the emergence of the Internet—there
has been available an array of data that has confirmed the whole
ugly and still murky world of science and intrigue merging in
the arena of mind and behavioral control that was notably catalogued
by Marks's book, there are still naysayers prone to claim that
the subject should be relegated to the arena of science fiction.
It's all a "conspiracy theory"— or so they say.
First of all, let it be said that Marks is not an author to be dismissed as a crank. Many will recall Marks as the co-author, along with former high-ranking CIA officer Victor Marchetti, of the internationally heralded and hotly controversial 1974 best-seller, The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence, the first book ever officially censored prior to publication by the CIA. So Marks has a proven track record of some distinction.
The author's background aside, this 264-page book is jam-packed from beginning to end with historical facts and information gleaned directly from the archives of the CIA itself, not to mention other data unearthed by Senate investigators in the 1970s. And what makes the book so significant is that— despite the many years that have passed since it was first published—this book probably remains the last word on the subject.
There have been a number of works delving into the subject of mind control that have received a lot of circulation in the "patriot" movement, including one that purports to be a first-hand account by a former mind control victim. But without commenting on the merit of some of those quite dubious and suspect works, it is accurate to state flatly and with no reservation that Marks's book is the one that establishes, definitively, that American intelligence did and surely still does engage in experiments in the field of "brain washing."
If you want an authoritative source on the topic and one that is not as likely to be dismissed as fantasy, The Search for the "Manchurian Candidate" should be included in your library.

Trigger-happy police officers in the modern consolidated American state - who make up the"state's punitive priesthood" - only incidentally tackle real crime and instead practice a doctrine of hostility toward the very taxpayers who pay their salaries.
That's the outlook of author William Norman Grigg, creator of the Pro Liberate blog, who appeared on June 23 with this writer on the RBN radio show The AFP Hour, to explain a subject that he closely monitors.
Grigg has delved into particularly disturbing cases of U.S. police terrifying - and even killing - schoolchildren, as well as brutalizing the public at large. Take the Nov. 12, 2010 case in which San Antonio, Texas school based police officer Daniel Alvarado shot and killed Derek Lopez, age 14.
From March2006 until November 2010, the typically insubordinate Alvarado, 46, had been suspended four times and was reprimanded 12 times. Yet all it took for Lopez to raise Alvarado's ire was for the young man to punch, just once, a 13-year-old classmate at a bus stop near a Bexar County school for troubled youth that both boys attended. The punch recipient, in a deposition, testified: "It wasn't a fight; it was nothing."
Alvarado, who saw the incident from his patrol car, stopped and yelled, "freeze," but Lopez fled on foot. Instructed by dispatch to stay with the victim, Alvarado instead pursued Lopez, who had found a backyard shed in which to hide.
When a neighbor flagged down the patrol car, Alvarado stopped and, as the neighbor recalled, had already drawn his gun as he proceeded up the driveway. Soon, a single loud gunshot erupted, and Lopez was mortally wounded in the chest. Alvarado tried to say that the suspect emerged from the shed, charged at him and "was literally inches from me," yet an autopsy showed no evidence of a close-range gunshot. San Antonio police still ruled the shooting was "justified," and Alvarado, though demoted to desk work, remains on the San Antonio police force.
Other shocking police cases abound. In early May, Orangeville Junior=Senior High School n Illinois was ivaded in an unannounced police drill in which a disturbed-looking man entered "and began firing what appeared to be a handgun at several students," as Gregg wrote. Terrified students ran, hid and cried. When some tried to call their parents via cell phone, the students were unaware that the parents had been instructed in advance not to answer if their child called for help.
Most drills are rehearsed with students portraying victims
and first responders practicing rescue operations, but this Illinois
drill, where an undercover officer fired blanks, was an overzealous
attempt at realism that prompted some parents to file suit.

The nation's foremost expert on electromagnetic pulse (EMP) says, "Given our current state of non-preparedness, within a year after an EMP event, we would probably lose about two-thirds of our population, or 200 million people." (EMP is a burst of electromagnetic radiation from a nuclear explosion, a man-made device or from solar flares.)
According to Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, EMP has become a concern recently since North Korea is close to developing or has already developed, a super-EMP weapon "capable of emitting enough gamma rays to disable the electric power grid across most of the lower 48 state."
Pry is a former CIA nuclear weapons analyst and president of EMPact AMERICA, a bipartisan, non-profit organization concerned with protecting Americans from a nuclear or natural EMP catastrophe.
American Free Press discussed EMP in an exclusive 75-minute interview with Pry, who spends much of his time shuttling back and forth to Washington, D.C., testifying before Congress as of part his duties on the EMP Commission. Presently, the commission is attempting to get the SHIELD Act (H.R.688) passed.
SHIELD is an acronym for Secure High-Voltage Infrastructure for Electricity for Lethal Damage. Pry is alarmed because or federal government doesn't "even have EMP as one of their canonical 15 national emergency planning scenarios."
When asked about North Korea, Pry was straight-forward: "They probably have a super-EMP weapon," he said. "Not that they would need a super-EMP weapon to take us out as a society. Even a crude, first generation weapon detonated at altitude would do it, because our civilian critical infrastructures are completely unprotected."
He continued, "But if they had a super-EMP, it would also allow them to take out all our military systems. It would make the rubble bounce, as it were, in EMP terms," Pry said.
According to a March 9 report from Joohee Cho in South Korea, "Pyongyang has been trying to disrupt GPS receivers critical to South Korean military communications in protest of the ongoing joint military training exercises between South Korean and U.S. forces.
Cho added, "The North is believed to be nearing completion of an electromagnetic pulse bomb that , if exploded 25 miles above ground, would cause irreversible damage to electrical and electronic devices such as mobile phones, computers, radio and radar, experts say." A representative with the Agency for Defense Development, a research and development arm of the South Korean military, said: "We assume they are at a considerably substantial level of development."
Besides the apparent threat posed by North Korea, EMP devices can be produced with instructions over the Internet. As Pry warned: "There are non-nuclear EMP devices that cab be purchased by anyone."
Pry continued, "If a terrorist, criminal or insane person were to purchase on of these things, It could be used to make an attack. They have very limited range, but if you knew what you were doing and you knew how to position the device correctly, you could probably black out a who city and cause massive chaos and disruption."
The threat of EMPs can also come from the Sun. The largest
solar super-storm event of this kind, commonly known as the Carrigton
Event, occurred in 1859. AFP asked about the consequences of
such an event. Pry was frank. "If a Carrington Effect happened
today, it would take down electric grids across the entire planet.
This is a life-threatening event. Peoples' lives depend on electric
critical infrastructures: Electric power, water, food, banking,
transportation, and communication. All these things depend upon
electronics."

The Diagnostical and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders classifies a new form of mental illness known as "oppositional defiant disorder" that is defined as a pattern of "negativistic, defiant, disobedient and hostile behavior toward authority figures."
Erasing all traces of the human struggle to overcome tyranny by the powerful elite has been a goal of social engineers for decades. Are they now one step closer?
At the University of Southern California (USC), a team of bio-engineers has developed a way for memories to be turned on and off with the flip of a switch.
In an experiment conducted in
collaboration with scientists from the Wake Forest Department
of Physiology and Psychology, Lab rats were trained to perform
the simple task of choosing one lever over another to receive
a sip of water. Using embedded electrical probes, the team recorded
changes in the rat's brain activity in two portions of the hippocampus
- regions of the brain that are crucial to the formation of short-
and long-term memory.
If the hippocampus is damaged or destroyed, the brain is still capable of forming short-term memory but incapable of forming long-term memory. Injecting a drug called JK801 caused the rats to forget their task. When their brain cells were later electronically stimulated, they again recalled which lever to press.
According to a USC press release, the next step is to "duplicate the rat results in primates (monkeys), with the aim of eventually creating prostheses that might help the human victims of Alzheimer's disease, stroke or injury recover function."
Dr. Robert Malenka of the Stanford Institute for Neuro-Innovation and Translational Neuro-science praised the outcome of this research. "That they were able to achieve what they did is remarkable," said Malenka. "They could improve the animals performance dramatically - suggesting that in the very distant future, this kind of approach could have clinical applications." He added, "Technology might even help suppress distressing memories in patients with post-traumatic stress disorder."
In addition to being the host of this research project, USC
is also home to the department of Homeland Security's National
Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events. Frightening
implications could be imagined if the government were to use
this technology to rehabilitate those they deem to be dissidents
of "enemy combatants."

With25 percent of all homeowners facing underwater mortgages (where they owe more money to the bank than their house is worth), Congress green-lighted a program in mid-2010 that provides interest-free loans to unemployed home owners in Massachusetts who can't meet their banking obligations.
With $61 million slated to this New England state, those in debt could receive as much as 50,000, some of which they're not even obligated to pay back.
Unfortunately, trends show that many of those who've already benefitted from this type of funding still end up defaulting on their loans. Despite these troublesome figures, another federal program earmarks $1 billion to unemployed home owners in 27 other states. But since government regulation extending all the way back to bill Clinton's Community Reinvestment Act caused the housing market to eventually tank, continued interference, especially with those in no position to meet their fiscal responsibilities, will further erode one of our nation's fundamental cornerstones.
Recent reports now confirm an alarming statistic: the U.S.
government via Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac owns more underwater
loans than do banks.

If elected president, former two-term
New Mexico gov. Gary Johnson would take great strides in saving
our country from bankruptcy. Maybe that's why CNN prohibited
him from participating in their June 13 GOP debate in New Hampshire.
During a June 17 interview with this writer, Johnson expressed disappointment about being excluded. "I met all of CNN's guidelines asa candidate," he began. "I can't help but think they didn't want the American public to hear my ideas. Aren't debates supposed to present a diverse set of views, and then the country can decide whom they want to vote for? Not only did CNN shut the door on me, they locked it too.:
One of Johnson's most revolutionary plans is to slash the size of federal government by nearly half. He explained, "43 percent of every dollar we spend is either borrowed or printed out of thin air. We're on the verge of financial collapse if we don't balance our budget, so we need to cut across the board. That includes all departments," he said.
In place of the bloated inefficiency and corruption that currently exists in Washington, D.C. Johnson is pushing for a return to states' rights. "Let's establish 50 laboratories of innovation and best practices. If we gave authority back to the states, we'd repeat our successes and learn form our failures.
To reinforce his vision, Johnson speaks with inspiration and conviction. "Top down Washington doesn't work. Instead, the best government is one that rules the least. People should be empowered to make decisions that only you and I can make. It's time for government to let me be the individual I want to be."
From the perspective, Johnson feels that government interferes way too much in our lives. He characterized the GM bailout as "a dinosaur on life support, while vowing to end the disastrously ill-conceived Obamacare. "It's better to take on a little bit of pain now than to die as a patient," he told reporter John Stossel a few weeks ago.
In terms of bank bailouts and healthcare waivers, Johnson correctly asserted, "The government is picking winners and losers while taxpayers foot the bill. Legislation should create a level playing field," he told AFP, "but the government is selecting favorites and giving them unfair advantages."
As for war, Johnson couldn't be clearer. "Six months after invading Afghanistan, U.S. troops wiped out al Qaeda. Yet 10 years later we're still there - building roads, schools and hospitals - borrowing 43 cents on every dollar to do it. Plus, now we're in Libya and Yemen. Where is the end to to it?" he asked.
Johnson assured AFP that he will be on stage for the next
Republican debate.

In a ruling designed to benefit the world's largest retailer,
the U.S. Supreme court deferred to Wal-Mart's wishes, proving
once
again that the company has secured
itself the ability to purchase a desired outcome.
The Supreme Court ruled that a decade-old sexual discrimination lawsuit could not move forward into class action status because the 1.5 million female employees did not have enough in common to warrant such a decision.
Inevitably, lawyers for both sides chose to read the ruling differently. Joseph M. Sellers, co-counsel for the women, said, "Instead of one case, this case will be splintered into many pieces." Wal-Mart lawyer Theodore J. Boutrous Jr. Interpreted the ruling to mean that even a smaller and more specific class action suit would not be able to proceed. "I don't think it leaves the plaintiffs any running room for any class actions of any size."
This reporter has had personal experience observing how Wal-Mart will go to great lengths to promote and secure its image. Therefore, a look at the political angle and what could be deemed as payoffs is necessary.
According to journalist Ariane de Vogue on March 25: "The Chamber of Commerce issued a brief on the side of Wal-Mart, arguing that the lower court ruling that allowed the case to go forward as a class action will likely encourage an avalanche of new class-action litigation on a broad array of subject matters beyond employment issues."
In a June 3 story about Wal-Mart Watch's report on political contributions, the group Jobs With Justice found, "Wal-Mart does not disclose political giving it does through the Chamber of commerce and other trade industry groups, making it impossible to fully know the scope of the company's political influence."
This same report shows that "the company and members of the Walton family, who own more than 48 percent of the company, have wielded their resources to undermine the interests of Wal-Mart's core customers and the associates who work in its stores."
Wal-Mart showed their discriminatory tendencies by supporting political candidates as well. Open Secrets reported on June 21, " Wal-Mart's political action committee supported 213 men whose names appeared on the ballot in November and donated to just 30 women who were general election candidates."
The New York Times stated: "In a dissent, Justice ruth Bader Ginsburg noted that in earlier complaints, plaintiffs had noted that women made up 70 percent of hourly employees, but just a third of management."
Wal-Mart has also been known in the past to intimidate its employees. Some workers are afraid to give their last names for fear of retribution, while others won't speak to members of the media at all.
In March, when Wal-Mart employee Christine Kwapnoski asked for a promotion, her male boss instructed her to "blow the cobwebs off your makeup" and "doll up" in order to advance.
It's likely that a corporation of Wal-Mart's size has used
its time to find waysin which to counter its critics. Anticipating
another decade of disappointment might keep these victims from
being willing to fight any longer, especially in individual lawsuits.
Following her 10-year wait for justice, Ms. Kwapnoski said: "My
voice against Wal-Mart? Are you kidding me? They would sweep
me under the carpet, real fast."

Barack Obama has a 91 percent approval rating among blacks, but poor blacks are left hungry under White House policies, with unemployment rampant, especially in the inner cities.
"The president has failed the Hispanic community; and he has failed the African-American community," said rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), who is seeking the Republican presidential nomination. She cited double-digit unemployment rates among both groups.
Her words were echoed by CBS News: "While unemployment among the general population is about 9.1 percent, it's 16.2 percent for African-Americans and a bit higher still for African-American males."
While unemployment among blacks has always been higher than the national average, CBS's Michele Miller said it's now at Depression-era levels.
Mrs. Bachmann, speaking to a Republican group, said Obama failed to promote economic growth and job creation a full 28 months into his term. "Mr. President, the status quo is not working for Americans," she said. ""He has failed us all when it comes to jobs."
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, seasonally adjusted unemployment was 12.7 percent among blacks when Obama was inaugurated in January 2009. By May 2011, the latest month reported, black unemployment had risen to 16.2 percent. Among blacks aged 16 to 19, seasonally adjusted unemployment was 36.3 percent in January 2009 but leaped to 40.7 percent by May 2011.
Why is unemployment among blacks so much higher than for other groups? It's attitude. This paperboy was once in a bar on capitol Hill in Washington observing a strong, healthy young American-African begging for money on the sidewalk. The bartender authorized me to offer him a job.
I told the man that he could come into the restaurant, rest
and relax over a hot lunch, then work washing dishes for minimum
wage. The man refused the job on grounds that washing dishes
"isn't meaningful." He was functionally illiterate,
but knew his liberal cliches. He was unable to consider that
washing dishes is more dignified than sucking on the taxpayers'
teat.

The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States is explicit in guaranteeing to the people their rights to freedom of religion, speech, press, peaceable assemblage and petition for a redress of grievances. However, for citizens to exercise these rights is not necessarily as easy to do as it was in the early days of our nation. Then, the populace was united in its beliefs and dedication to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Today there is a specter haunting the land from coast to coast and border to border. Its name is anti-Semitism. At one time it was used to describe anyone who disliked Jewish people in general. But today its scope has broadened to include anyone who dares speak the truth about the growing power of Israel. The term "anti-Semite" is being applied to anyone who dares to question or deny the dogma of the Holocaust, which alleges six million Jews were deliberately killed by Hitler's Germany during World War II.
Nobody, especially ambitious politicians, wants to be branded "anti-Semitic." To be so labeled would be the end of their careers. The brand would follow them wherever they went.
Who leads this movement? It's a powerful organization called the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith. Abraham Foxman is the national director, and his organization monitors and attacks any group or individual that dares to criticize Israel.
They have sought out church leaders, especially Roman Catholic leaders, in order to silence them for speaking out on any topic of international or local Jewish interests. They often secure this control by donating heavily to church organizations and the local churches themselves.
One publication on the "forbidden list" of books is The Iron Curtain over America by Col. John Beaty. It is a classic in its field. Beaty shows that the battle for American constitutional freedom can be won or lost on the immigration field.
For example, the late great Sen. Pat McCarran (D-Nev.), warned about a bill authored by Rep Emmanuel Cellar (d-N.Y.), requested by President Harry Truman, that provided more Jewish immigrants that would swell the rolls of the Democratic Party. Truman argued that his bill increased the rolls of both Catholics and Jews, but, as Beaty points out, Catholics were satisfied with the law as it was.
Celler prevailed. The measure raised the number of "refugees" over and above quotas legally eligible to enter the United States. The McCarran-Walter bill, designed to regulate immigration in the national interest, was vetoed by Truman, but became law when the Senate, on June 27, 1952, overrode the veto.
Any careful examination of Judaica must include the seminal work in the field Facts Are Facts by Ben Freedman, born Jewish but a convert to Catholicism. He takes the reader through the world of the so-called Khazars, an ancient people who lacked moral integrity, to put it mildly. These people were not Semites but of Asiatic mongoloid extraction. They were driven out of Asia and invalid Eastern Europe. In the seventh century, their ruler, King Bulan, decided to abolish phallic worship and other forms of sexual excesses and chose one of the three major religins. After meeting with representatives of Christianity, Islam and Talmudism (known today as Judaism) he chose Talmudism. Rabbis were brought in from Babylonia to complete the conversion process.
Their bible is not the Old Testament, but the Talmud, which
makes for shocking reading with its suggested vile treatment
of gentiles. It has no bounds of decency but still gets positive
lip service from Christians who prefer ignorance to knowledge.

Bilderberg luminaries persisted in their campaign to generate financial upheaval and war the moment their boots touched ground after flying home from St. Moritz, Switzerland.
Summers made his comments in a blog to Reuters, a news service that is a Bilderberg tool. He was also a former economic adviser to president Obama and Treasury secretary under former President Bill Clinton.
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, another Bilderberg leader, began conditioning the public to expect the recession to last through 2012 as dictated in Switzerland. "We don't have a precise read on why this slower pace of growth is persisting," Bernanke said on June 22. "Some of these headwinds may be stronger or more persistent than we thought." He was referring to the central bank's new projections that showed weaker growth in 2011 and 2012 than had been forecast just two months earlier. He and others called for cuts in Social Security, Medicare and for more taxes.
President Obama also jumped in on June 22, lying to Americans about how he will draw down the war in Afghanistan while striking his "peace pose." Yes, he will bring some soldiers home from Afghanistan while pushing hard the "non-war" in Libya in an effort to generate a bloodbath in the Middle East. He even borrowed a line from George W. Bush, calling for "nation building" at home instead of abroad. Bilderberg leaders have repeatedly said they understand why, politically, Obama must pose as a "peace president," but they are assured that he will promote a conflagration in the Middle East.
But legislation to end the invasion of Afghanistan is pending
in Congress. One would simply order the troops home immediately.
Another, which could be attached as an amendment to pending legislation,
would cut off funding for the war, forcing the troops home. Both
these were defeated on June 24, but these were tactical moves.

Scientists warn that we are "at high risk of entering a phase of extinction of marine species unprecedented in human history." Over-fishing, pollution and natural cycles of climate change are acting together in unprecedented ways.
The International Program on the State of the Ocean (IPSO) brought together experts from different disciplines, including coral reef ecologists, toxicologists and fisheries scientists. "The findings are shocking," said Alex Rogers, IPSO's scientific director and professor of conservation biology at Oxford University. As we considered the cumulative effect of what humankind does to the oceans, the implications became far worse than we had individually realized."
"The rate of change is vastly exceeding what we were expecting even a couple of years ago," said Ove Hoegh-Guldberg, a coral specialist from the University of Queensland in Australia. Ocean acidification, warming, local pollution and over fishing are acting together to increase the threat to coral reefs - so much so that three-quarters of the world's reefs are at risk of severe decline.
Life on earth has gone through five "mass extinction events," caused apparently by asteroid impacts. The evidence suggests, however, humanity's combined impact may be causing a sixth such extinction event.
The IPSO report concludes that it is likely to happen far faster than any of the previous five. "What we're seeing at the moment is unprecedented in the fossil record - the environmental changes are much more rapid," Professor Rogers told BBC News.
The report also notes that previous mass extinction events
have been associated with trends being observed now - disturbances
of the carbon cycle, acidification and hypoxia (depletion of
oxygen) of seawater. Levels of CO2 being absorbed by the oceans
are already far greater than during the great extinction of marine
species 55 million years ago (during the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal
Maximum).

Paul Topete, lead singer of the patriot band Pokerface, was the organizer of Freedompalooza, an Independence Day weekend festival held near Easton, Pa. at a 23-acre private venue along the Delaware River.
While driving through Smalltown, U.S.A. in southeastern Pennsylvania and seeing American flags flying high on their flagpoles in front of old stone and brick colonials, it was hard to not feel a bit choked up with patriotism.
The event was scheduled to feature 10 speakers and 10 bands, both on Saturday and Sunday, but fell a bit short of that as rainfall on Sunday forced some cancellations. Nevertheless, Saturday was a beautiful day as patriots gathering together from several surrounding states mingled across the wide-open field while music filled the air. Many of the attendees were pitching tents for the night at the edge of the field where the wooded area began.
The "palooza" started at noon and continued until nightfall as speakers alternated with rock ‘n' roll bands, allowing the crowd to enjoy the great weather and patriotic atmosphere.
Speakers included Jim Condit, who has been instrumental in exposing voting machine fraud among other things, Obama presidential disqualification movement pioneer Phil Berg, IRS protester and self-described "enemy of the state" Larken Rose and anti-Fed activist Mike Salvi.
The one who really stole the show, however, was AFP's own populist hero Jim Traficant. The former congressman talked about the dire condition our country is in due to a Congress totally dominated by special interest groups, and he offered commonsense solutions to bring the nation back from the brink of disaster. He ended on a lighter note as he amused the audience with anecdotes from his days as a U.S. representative.
Topete and Pokerface took the stage after that and rocked the house with their particular brand of patriot music that has become their trademark. Of special interest and timeliness was a song called Revolution dedicated to Traficant. Other bands included the Ameros, Payday Monsanto and Scrap Metal Bomb.
Asked what he thought of the event, Topete said he was very pleased and is planning to do it again at the same place next year.
"My greatest pleasure was to have Jim Traficant speak at this event," he said. Referring to the upcoming 2012 elections, he asked to be quoted: "Please run, Mr. Traficant. You are my president." He also thanked AMERICAN FREE PRESS for all its support.
Condit voiced the same sentiments: "No one in the country is more qualified to run for president than Jim Traficant. America desperately needs Jim to run. We'll never have another chance; 2012 will be the end of the road."

Amid the chaotic weather systems thus far in 2011, the federal
government has twisted and exacerbated a natural catastrophe
to victimize
American farming families, while subsequently staging a land
grab to further the UN's Agenda 21 protocols, all at once.
Despite record amounts of snowfall this past winter, the snowpack was measured and melted predictably. Yet the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers claimed to be surprised by the melt-water amounts. As a result, they planned to detonate the Birds Point levee in Missouri to prevent runoff water from devastating the town of Cairo, Ill. Bizarrely, the feds thought it more intelligent to flood 130,000 acres of rural farmland, and thus a necessary part of the food supply, than to affect an urban zone of 2,800 people, one-third of whom already live below the poverty level.
Detonated levees might bring the Ninth Ward of New Orleans to mind, and one might suspect the federal government was attempting to avoid another accusation of racism, classism and inaction. However, commodities broker Ann Barnhardt has revealed another possible scheme at work.
She wrote on her website: "A Missouri farming and ranching contact just got off a conference call wherein he was informed that the federal government is sending out letters to all of the flooded farmers in the Missouri River flood plain notifying them that the Army Corps of Engineers will offer to buy their land."
The Kansas City Star supports this claim, reporting that 17 Missouri families received a letter from the Army Corps of Engineers "offering to buy private land along the Missouri River for a wildlife conservation project. The letter was dated June 6, when floodwaters were beginning to rise."
Later in the article, it was noted that "Karl Mueller, chief of civil works for the Army Corps' Kansas City office, said the agency was not taking advantage of the flooding to buy farmland" and that the letters were a case of "unfortunate timing."
When asked if the government would be compensating them for
losses, Ms. Barnhardt told this reporter: "Of course not.
The feds are calling it an act of God." Ms. Barnhardt also
makes the stunning connection of George
Soros and a company he is investing in called Ospraie Capital
Management. It seems Ospraie is also buying farmland, and Soros's
investments have netted him control of "the third-largest
grain company in the U.S., with 280 million bushels of storage
capacity."
The liberal Center for American Progress receives large donations from Soros. Plus, its former executive vice president for policy, Melody Barnes, was recently named to the White House Rural Council.
According to a popular news website, The Blaze, this council "makes recommendations to the president on streamlining and leveraging federal investments in rural areas to increase the impact of federal dollars and create economic opportunities to improve the quality of life in rural America." The group's staffers also "coordinate federal efforts directed toward the growth and development of geographic regions that encompass both urban and rural areas" which, The Blaze states, "sounds very similar to the language found in the UN plan for sustainable cities known as Agenda 21."
Ms. Barnhardt says, "This is about driving everything toward a Marxist utopia. They are attempting to control the food supply and are seeking to make private agricultural banking virtually impossible by forcing all agricultural lending through the USDA and the government."

Bilderberg's non-stop
campaign to make all citizens of the world culturally and economically
the same is currently being demonstrated in Reading, Pa., which
is 58 percent Hispanic. Most of them are illegal. Reading was
a historically white city, shaped by English and German ancestry.
Now, if you speak to someone in English, you are likely to confront
a confused stare.
"If you look at census data from 2000 and 2010, you can see that there's this phenomenon of Latinos moving to parts of the United States where there haven't been Latinos before," said Stanton Wortham, a University of Pennsylvania researcher specializing in linguistics and immigrant studies. "The biggest research question from a national point of view is: What are the new Latino population trajectories going to be over the next decade?"
The Census Bureau predicts that the United States will soon be one-quarter Hispanic, and that eventually whites will become a minority.
In Reading, like other unlikely inland sites, the culture is now Hispanic, not traditional American. Downtown centers are filled with signs in Spanish pointing to corner "bodegas," travel agencies and money-wire services.
Local police officers enjoy $1 tacos on Tuesdays at Taqueria los Amigos in nearby Allentown. A Dominican establishment in Reading, Mi Casa Su Casa, offers empanadas (turnovers) with lattes. Passing cars blast out modern salsa beats of "cumbia" music and other "hip" songs from a 24-hour Spanish-language radio station.
White citizens speak resentfully about the new Hispanic dominance, said Gregory Lauray, an accountant. "I understand, on the one hand, because of the rapid growth and the rapid change," he said, "yet it's happening quicker than anybody anticipated."
What Lauray and other apologists fail to say is that America was built on legal—not criminal—immigration. Millions of Hispanic lawbreakers enter this country every year, and the United States spends billions of dollars stationing troops at more than 130 sites worldwide, protecting the borders of other countries.
But America's own borders are wide open to illegal immigrants because Barack Obama and his Republican and Democrat congressional buddies want the Hispanic vote, legal or not, in 2012.
In 2000, non-citizens who were automatically registered while obtaining drivers licenses cast millions of illegal votes.

A massive wildfire recently forced the evacuation of 1,200 New Mexican residents as it swept through the Santa Fe National Forest and closed in on the Los Alamos Nuclear Weapons Laboratory, where nearly 20,000 barrels of discarded plutonium are stored in the open air. The story received scant news coverage.
Likewise, just as the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant in
Omaha, Neb. became immersed in rising flood waters, there was
a news blackout despite the contamination risks posed by 20 years'
worth of nuclear waste
and spent fuel rods being housed inside that facility.
There was also hardly a mention of the ongoing crisis at the Cooper Nuclear Station near neighboring Brownsville, Neb., which has also been under constant threat of flooding after two tornados ripped through that area last June.
In all three cases, official government mouthpieces stepped forward to assure the public that there was no need to be alarmed.
Following a scathing report by Russia's Federal Atomic Energy Agency—which admonished the Obama administration for minimizing the catastrophic implications of the Fort Calhoun crisis—the Omaha Public Power District denied that its plant faced any serious threats. The Russians fired back saying the catastrophic loss of cooling reported by the plant qualified the event as a "level 4" emergency, thus rendering the Fort Calhoun incident as one of the worst nuclear accidents in U.S. history.
Why would the current administration go so far to cover up this disaster? Ever since the Fukushima nuclear crisis in Japan, Barack Obama has struggled to get congressional funding for the construction of a whole new generation of nuclear power plants. This is all part of his clean energy initiative—a $54 billion cash cow that will be levied upon the already broken backs of American taxpayers.
The last thing Obama needs now is negative publicity that exposes the nuclear power industry's dirty underbelly. These recent setbacks have only emboldened the nuclear lobby to intensify its efforts to secure Washington, D.C. support.
According to the Associated Press, "The main trade group for the nuclear power industry spent $545,000 in the first quarter lobbying financial support for new reactors and safety regulations." The article went on to report, "The Nuclear Energy Institute spent 26 percent more than the $405,000 it spent in fourth quarter of last year, and 21 percent more than the $430,000 it spent in the first quarter of 2010."

Desperate local and state governments are selling major infrastructure
and real assets to foreign investors to raise cash and stay
off bankruptcy, while investment
banks like Goldman Sachs are profiting from the deals.
Last week, Ohio decided to sell the Ohio Turnpike to private investors, following the prior decisions of Indiana, the city of Chicago, Florida, Virginia and Texas to sell major highways as well.
Goldman Sachs has been leading the move to privatize highways in cooperation with American officials, including potential presidential nominee Rick Perry, governor of Texas. Goldman Sachs has raised $140 billion, most of it from foreign individuals and nations, for an infrastructure fund that is buying up U.S. assets.
In addition to highways, basic city services like parking meters are also going up for sake in cities such as Nashville, Pittsburgh and Los Angles.
Virginia, in addition to placing portions of its highway system on the auction block, recently sold the management of a port facility.
Meanwhile, California, which has been bankrupt for several years, dumped more than 75 public infrastructure projects in a desperate bid to raise cash, including a bridge from San Francisco to Oakland that is being built in China and which will be managed by a Chinese government-affiliated company.
In fact, the Chinese government is a major backer of the financial elite's desire to buy American assets. The China State Construction Engineering Group has been investing in schools, apartment blocks and casinos in the United States, all in cooperation with avaricious Wall Street bankers.
This process of economically hollowing out the U.S. and plundering the last of its few remaining resources has been encouraged by the Obama regime, which supports, under the guise of socialism, the same kind of internationalism that its nominal opponents promote under the name of capitalism.
The Greek and French governments have begun selling off valuable assets in fire sales to wealthy bankers and global speculators, including famous and treasured buildings that still hold tremendous value to the citizens of those countries.
Now the federal government in Washington is even getting in
on the game, looking at selling off gold, securities investments
and other assets for pennies on the dollar - all of which were
paid for often at the peak of the market by hardworking U.S.
taxpayers. Many Americans have been left to wonder: Is nothing
sacred anymore? What's next on the government's chopping block:
The Library of Congress? Mount Rushmore? Yellowstone Park? The
Washington Monument? Mount Vernon? Monticello? Gettysburg Battlefield?
Your guess is as good as ours.

Author and lecturer Begich is the son of Rep. Nick Begich, Se. (D-Alaska), who mysteriously disappeared on Oct. 16, 1972, along with House Majority Leader Hale Boggs (La.) during an infamous Alaska Plane crash.
Begich states: "The human mind and body can be controlled remotely, without a trace of evidence being left behind." He discusses in detail the progression os research, the patent numbers, scientists who pioneered this technology, and the supercomputers that can process your thoughts and emotions in real time.
Mind control sounds like science fiction, but Begich breaks it down to its simplest terms. The ramifications of this technology are disturbing, especially so-called non-lethal weapons being used by law enforcement officials. A great deal of money is being spent on these new developments, which many believe could be worse than more-common lethal weapons.
Begich also discusses the interruption and/or transfer of memories from one individual to another.
This could be called the ultimate invasion of privacy now that Big Brother can read your brain waves, and a super computer can immediately interpret their meaning. How long until thoughts are considered crimes?
An important note from Begich's book is its mention of the term "domestic adversary" that is defined as "those who are not declared enemies but are engaged in activities we wish to stop." In 1994, a policy was issued allowing the use of military actions against American citizens using these electromagnetic weapons. Since electromagnetic energy can go directly through any wall, you are no longer safe in your own home.
Begich reports: "These technologies can be used from a distance without the use of implants or physical contact of any kind."
Why are the many Americans who have come forward with claims of electronic ;harassment attacks simply being ignored? Are the numerous individuals who have been attending the President's Commission on Bioethics - making claims of torture and non-consensual experimentation - predicting our own futures? Are some of the recent mass shootings examples of possible mind manipulation? With these new weapons, it's anyone's guess.
Law enforcement, coupled with a huge increase in the number f so-called security workers in the United States, now are often acting as your judge, jury and executioner.

Barrett Brown, the author of a
disturbing expose that reveals how the federal government colludes
with private industry to spy on Internet users, told AFP that
this public-private partnership goes much deeper than originally
thought.
Last June, a computer-savvy team of unconventional researchers - collectively known as Project PM - released a provocative report with the following details: "For at least two years, the U.S. has been conducting a secretive and immensely sophisticated campaign of mass surveillance and data mining against the Arab world, allowing the intelligence community to monitor the habits, conversations and activity of millions of individuals at once."
The project was originally referred to as Romas/COIN, but has since been replaced by a similar program known as Odyssey. So far, Northrop Grumman, America's second largest military conglomerate, has managed this open-ended, federally sponsored cyber-intelligence operation. However, information gleaned by Project PM reveals that this multimillion-dollar contract may now be up for grabs.
The discovery was made after the computer hacker group called Anonymous penetrated the computer data-bases of HBGary - a California-based security contractor for the Department of Defense - and leaked 70,000 of its emails onto the Internet.
An examination of this correspondence by Project PM's founder and spokesman Barrett brown uncovered a heated contest being waged between several other defense giants who were all competing to snatch the Odyssey project from Northrop.
According to Brown: "The top contender to win this federal contract and thus take over the program is a team of about a dozen companies brought together in large art by Aaron Barr - the same disgraced CEO who resigned from his own firm [HBGary Federal] earlier this year after he was discovered to have planned a full scale information war against political activists at the behest of corporate clients."
In the February issue of Financial Times, Barr boasted that he had infiltrated various hacking groups like Anonymous and Wikileaks using social media outlets such as facebook and Twitter.
The emails also revealed more dirty deals involving law firms hired by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to solicit private security firms for a campaign of sabotage against progressive groups, journalists, labor unions and others who they deemed to be enemies or critics.
Based upon a further examination of the HBGary emails, Brown's team found clues and references to intelligence gather ing tools that helped to determine the nature of the Romas/COIN project. Among them are mobile phone software applications, gaming networks, social media outlets and several other venues whereby personal information could be collected and stored on its users. There was also discussion about bringing in a "gaming developer" - perhaps for the intention of creating their own Trojan horse computer programs - and even an expressed desire to establish a liaison with the children's movie company Pixar-Disney to be used for some undisclosed purpose.
The emails also revealed that partnerships had been established, or were in the process of being forged, with multimedia giants like Apple, Google and AT&T.
In an exclusive interview with AFP, Project PM's Brown discussed the latest finding his team has unearthed since releasing its report last June.
"The most interesting thing that warrants more research involves Pixar-Disney," said brown.
Hi continued: "Originally, Aaron Barr asked his team partner at Apple, Andy Kemp, to set him up with a contact at Pixar-Disney. Kemp never got back with him, so he went through his own contacts at the OSD [Office of the Secretary of Defense], who immediately put him in contact with a Dr. Eric Haseltine."
As it turns out, Haseltine is a technologist who began his career with Walt Disney Imagineering in 1992 and helped found the virtual Reality Studio. He was promoted to senior vice president in 1998 and was responsible for all technology projects before being promoted to executive vice president in 2000.
Haseltine left Disney in 2002 for a position with the National Security Agency. He was the first to serve as associate director for science and technology at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, from 2005 to 2007.
According to a 2006 interview with US: "You can think of me as the CTO [chief Technology officer] of the intelligence community."
Haseltine now runs his own consulting firm, Haseltine Partners LLC/ According to an article in Psychology Today, "Eric now helps intelligence agencies and the Department of defense find and apply cutting edge technologies to problems such as counter terrorism and collaborative intelligence analysis."
Even though Haseltine has not been publicly connected to Disney since 2002, the very fact that an OSD contact would put him in communication with a contractor - for the purposes of establishing a relationship with a company that makes films for children - suggests that Haseltine still wields a significant amount of influence over that supposedly non-governmental entity.
Brown went on to say, "This shows to what extent the
government will go to partner with private industry in advance
of surveillance technology."

During Iran's recent war games, its warships and submarines tracked the movements of a U.S. carrier fleet, proving Iran will be no pushover should Israel follow through with its frequent threats to attack Iran's nuclear facilities. What has yet to be made clear is whether the Pentagon knew the Iranians were running surveillance on naval vessels like the USS Enterprise, the world's largest aircraft carrier, the USS George Bush, the latest carrier in the U.S. fleet, and the nuclear-powered submarine USS Bremerton, which was stationed in waters off Bahrain, close to Saudi Arabia.
Iran made no bones about its ability to shadow those vessels and others as they traversed the Persian Gulf, pointing out how the increase in Israeli and U.S. naval vessels in the region has the potential to create a dangerous flashpoint.
In a week of war games, Iran showed off its latest long-range missiles, capable of striking Israeli or U.S. naval assets in the Persian gulf or Black Sea regions.
On display too were Iran's updated batteries of Nasr-1 anti-ship missiles, built with the assistance of a Chinese company that opened a factory in Iran in 2010 for the sole purpose of helping Iran's Revolutionary Guard upgrade its missile development.
In the event of war, Iran could deploy Nasr-1 batteries to destroy shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway that handles a sizable percentage of global shipping transiting the gulf.
There was a method to Iran's decision to run a week rather than a day or two of war games. It was an opportunity to show the Israeli military it had upgraded its defensive and offensive capabilities The Israelis are surely troubled by Iranian video footage of an underground silo Iran claimed is undetectable by radar and is capable of firing Shahab-3 ballistic missiles, with a range of 1,000 to 1,500 miles.
All of this comes at a time of increased instability in the region, not to mention heightened anti-Iran rhetoric coming from Israel and its generals. This unrest has united some strange bedfellows, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and several other Arab states run by aging leaders who despise Iran. From all accounts, the Obama administration has moved additional naval assets to the gulf, drawing stinging criticism from the Russians.
In a move that worried European leaders keen on building better relations with Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry lashed out at Washington's decision to position the USS Monterrey, a high-tech guided missile destroyer, within range of Syria, where Russia has a naval base.
The Russians fear Washington and Tel Aviv have conspired to
destabilize Syria to create regime change to suit their policy
of undermining syria's allies, Iran and the Hezbollah in Lebanon.

In the wake of hundreds of dietary supplements recently being outlawed across the European Union, the U.S. food and Drug administration has quietly unleashed a regulatory scheme that, if fully implemented could ban almost all dietary supplements in the United States formulated after 1994.
That means nearly all superfoods, multivitamins, detox supplements and organic products we have all come to depend on to prevent disease and boost our immune health could soon be stripped from store shelves and outlawed across the nation. I call it the "end game" of the FDA's war against humanity: phase one was the enforcement of nutritional ignorance by threatening and raiding companies that dared to make truthful health claims on their own websites. Phase two involves nuking the entire dietary supplements industry by simply denying the use of nearly all the ingredients presently used in supplement products.
The discovery of this new end game strategy by the FDA comes to us from the Alliance for Natural Health (ANH), the leading health freedom nonprofit group in America. Here's the brief story of where this comes from and how the FDA is now waging a new war on our vitamins, herbs and supplements:
In 1994, after years of armed raids, oppression and censorship by the FDA, Congress passed a law known as the Dietary supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA). This is the law that essentially forced the FDA to stop regulation dietary supplements out of existence. Groups such as the Life Extension Foundation were instrumental in helping get this law passed.
But one of the little-known sections of the law required dietary supplement manufacturers to notify the FDA anytime they used a new ingredient in their formulations. However, the details on how supplement companies were supposed to abide by these notification guidelines (called "NDI" or new dietary ingredient rules) were never published by the FDA, and since 1994, this entire section of DSHEA has remained essentially unenforced or selectively enforced.
Now, suddenly, the FDA has decided it wants to enforce NDI with a vengeance, and its enforcement of this technicality would essentially amount to the FDA denying permission to use nearly all dietary supplement ingredients introduced since 1994.
In late June, the FDA proposed its new rules on NDI - on the Friday before the long July 4 weekend no less, which is a common tactic government uses when it wants to do something that nobody notices - and these new rules run the risk of being adopted as active regulations, threatening the entire dietary supplement industry with an eventual shutdown.
Why did the FDA wait 17 years to take action on NDI rules? Believe it or not, this was mandated under the new food safety bill (S. 510) that most congressmen passed into law late last year without even reading the bill.
The upshot of all this is that by issuing new guidelines on the NDI requirements, the FDA can now essentially disallow the use of virtually all supplement ingredients that exist in the market today. As ANH warns:
We fear that they will use this power to ban any supplement innovation unless the supplement is turned into a drug and brought through the drug approval process. Since nobody can afford to pay for the new drug approval process if the substance is not patented, and supplements generally already exist in nature and cannot therefore be patented, to require full new drug approval is to ensure that there will be no new supplements. This should suit the drug industry very well and, based on past behavior.
Through this clever trick with NDI rules, the FDA can now position itself as the gatekeeper for all supplement approvals. Far from merely being a requirement to notify the FDA of the use of new ingredients, NDI rules essentially subject supplements to approval from the FDA.
Amazingly, the new NDI rules state that "synthetic copies"
of natural molecules are exempted from any new reporting requirements.
Thus, drug companies that commit biopiracy and steal molecules
from nature, then turn them into chemical drugs, are exempted
from this. But natural product companies offering safe, effective
and full-spectrum nutrients made by Mother Nature are suddenly
put out of business.

Strawberries are shown to be a potent source of antioxidants
in a body of research published in the journal Food Chemistry.
Studies confirm that regular
consumption of the flavorful fruit raises antioxidant blood saturation
levels. This can help to lower the risk of chronic ailments ranging
from heart disease and cancer to metabolic disorders including
diabetes.
The study, conducted by Italian and Spanish researchers, demonstrated that eating two cups of strawberries daily for two weeks boosted the antioxidant status of red blood cells and improved the body's immune response reaction to oxidative stress, thus lowering disease risk.
European researchers have demonstrated the antioxidant capacity of strawberries on human health using volunteers at the Marche Polytechnic University in Italy. Twelve healthy adults were fed the equivalent of two cups of strawberries over the course of a day for a period of two weeks. Blood samples where taken after four, eight, 12 and 16 days and then again after a month. Live blood analysis showed that regular consumption of this super fruit significantly increases the antioxidant capacity of blood plasma as well as the resistance of red blood cells to oxidative hemolysis in a process known as fragmentation.
Lead author and researcher Dr. Maurizio Battino commented on the initial results: "We have shown that some varieties of strawberries make erythrocyles more resistant to oxidative stress. This could be of great significance if you take into account that this phenomenon can lead to serious diseases.
Researchers are continuing to test a number of strawberry strains and different consumption levels to determine optimal antioxidant levels. They note that strawberries should form part of a healthy , balanced diet and should be included as part of a daily serving of fruits and vegetables necessary to lower disease risk.
Strawberries contain a large concentration of phenolic compounds, such as flavonoids, known to exert potent antioxidant properties. Flavonoid consumption triggers an extensive arsenal of antioxidant mechanisms that function at the cellular level to fight free radical production and to lower the risk of heart disease cancer, diabetes and dementia. Antioxidants promote normal cellular function and are either manufactured by the body or consumed through diet in the form of natural foods such as strawberries.
When the blood antioxidant capacity is lowered by stress,
physical exertion or normal metabolic function, oxidative stress
occurs and the risk of chronic disease increases exponentially.
Many forward-thinking scientists posit that oxidative stress
is a key factor determining how quickly we age, and foods such
as strawberries hold the answer to slow this process and to prevent
a host of potentially deadly illnesses.

Does using a cell phone lead to brain cancer? Outraged at the suggestion, the Cellular telecommunications Industry Association refused to attend a congressional hearing in 2008, saying that the science would speak for itself. Studies with wireless industry ties deny any relationship between brain damage and their products. Author Devra Davis reports the coincidence that Israelis, the world's heavies wireless users, have seen cancers of the ear and salivary gland triple in persons under 20. Auditory nerve cancers have tripled in decade-long Swiss users.
If cell phones do not affect the body, why does fine print in most packages say "do not hold closer than one inch from your body?" And why do insurance companies refuse to provide coverage to cell phone companies and operators in case of claims of health damage from their devices?
To inform you, Dr. Devra Davis, founder and president of the Environmental Health Trust, wrote Disconnect: The Truth About Cell Phone Radiation - What the Industry Has Done to Hide it and How to Protect Your Family. Drl Davis chose the title because there exists "an immense ‘disconnect' between the common public and medical opinion about cell phone safety and what the data actually said.'"
Disconnect is deeply disturbing reading. Almost everyone uses
cell phones, the invisible effects take decades to manifest into
disease and most users are either unaware of brush of the risks.
Dr. Davis says this could be a deadly mistake.
