American Free Press June 7, 2010 Immigration Revolution Brewing By Pat Shannan Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) has announced that nearly a dozen and a half states are now filing versions of Arizona's S.B. 1070 law, designed to help local police enforce America's existing immigration laws.
Various polls have indicated that close to 75 percent of the U.S. population supports Arizona's move and wants their own states to do the same.
"Our national network of activists has been working overtime trying to help the state of Arizona and the brave Arizonans who have passed this bill," said William Gheen, president of the activist group. "Arizona no longer stands alone, and we have now documented state lawmakers filing, or announcing they will file, versions of the Arizonan bill in 17 states. We will not stop until all states are protected from invasion as required by the U.S. Constitution."
ALIPAC has documented that the following 17 states are taking a page out of Arizona's book in response to citizen pressure: Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.
Gheen, who is a former campaign consultant, legislative assistant, state lobbyist and assistant sergeant-at-arms staffer in North Carolina, has turned his local experiences into a political battle plan.
He said, "The federal government has been hijacked by special interests that are neglectful of their duties and even hostile toward the rightful citizens of America. It is incumbent upon our states to protect American lives, property, jobs, wages, security and health, when the Executive Branch fails to honor its constitutional responsibility to do so by enforcing our existing border and immigration laws."
His organization had lobbied state lawmakers and Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer urging the passing of S.B. 1070 that finally happened in April. However, some conservatives are concerned that the law may give police too much power that will result in a restrictive effect on the law-abiding citizenry.
Despite the pressure from Washington to backpedal on the state's landmark immigration reforms, Mrs. Brewer swung another roundhouse right at federal statutes by signing into law new legislation affirming that nothing in state law requires businesses to provide "trained and competent" interpreters when a customer comes in speaking a language other than English. Small business owners cheered.
Assistant Attorney General Michael Walker said that has probably always been the law anyway, but the issue was forced by a lawsuit filed last year by a Spanish speaking woman against an Arizona optometrist because he would not allow the woman's 12-year-old daughter to perform as an interpreter between doctor and patient.
The optometrist, Dr. John Schrolucke of Wickenburg, refused because he feared legal, insurance and medical problems if the underage child somehow misunderstood. Such a mistake could lead to a malpractice lawsuit.
He asked that the woman return with an English- and Spanish-speaking interpreter over 18 or, in the alternative, visit some Spanish-speaking optometrist.
Instead, the woman and her lawyer filed a discrimination lawsuit against the English-speaking optometrist. However, Arizona Attorney General Walker, after taking a year to decide, finally ruled the case was moot because no law had been broken.

American Free Press June 7, 2010 BILDERBERG: Global cabal pushes agenda before meeting in Sitges, Spain By James P. Tucker, Jr. Bilderberg-controlled news outlets in Europe and the Western Hemisphere are conditioning the public to accept two of the super-secret elite's major goals in advance of its meeting June 4-7 in Sitges, Spain: a U.S. attack on Iran and a financial bailout of Greece and other European Union (EU) countries.
But even before the Bilderberg group gathered behind the sealed-off, guarded Dolce Hotel in Sitges, a resort community 12 miles from Barcelona, resistance to throwing more tax dollars at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to bail out Europe sprang up in Congress.
Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) introduced legislation to require the Treasury Department to oppose further IMF "loans" to stricken European countries until all EU members are in compliance with their own constitutional limits on debtand very few of them are. Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) introduced companion legislation in the Senate.
Just the threat of the legislation prompted Senate Democratic leaders to agree to an amendment to financial legislation that would prohibit the United States from participating in bailouts that are unlikely to be repaid. It requires the IMF to certify to the Treasury Department that it expects its loans to Europe to be repaid. It passed 94-0.
"America isn't even close to getting our own fiscal house in order, and this is the worst time to ask taxpayers to borrow more from China to bail out foreign nations," DeMint said.
The Bilderberg-controlled Washington Post called for making the IMF a "global overseer" on May 20. Bilderberg is exploiting the financial crisis in Greece and other EU countries to advance efforts to make the IMF a world Treasury Department under the UN.
"It may take a global agency like the IMF" to address the problem, The Post said, attributing the view to Liliana Rojas-Suarez, a senior fellow at the Center for Global Development.
Bilderberg warmongering continues. Following instructions from Russian Mikhail Slobodinsky (at the Trilateralist meeting [AFP May 24, 2010]), Russia and China joined in supporting a resolution condemning Iran's imaginary "nuclear weapons program." Israel restated that air strikes are not "off the table."
The Bilderberg-Trilateral goal is for the U.S. to conduct air strikes on Iran, paid for with American taxpayer dollars and blood. Israel has had nuclear weapons since at least 1962, is not a signatory to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and refuses on-site inspections.
Obama continued calling for a new "international order" in a commencement address at West Point, addressing cadets, some of whom will probably die in the Middle East.
"The international order we seek is one that can resolve the challenges of our times," Obama said. The president, who is owned by Bilderberg, never wore America's uniform.
"We are not defined by our borders," Obama said while standing beside Mexican President Felipe Calderon. Eliminating national borders and creating an "American Union" to include Mexico and Canada is a major Bilderberg goal.
Bilderberg is grimly aware that gas prices will drop this summer despite ordering oil-producing nations to pump at only 81 percent capacity. But Bilderberg is demanding significantly higher costs in the fall, looking for $3 to $4 a gallon in the U.S. This is entangled, too, with the huge British Petroleum oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. BP is among the several oil producers that are major Bilderberg players, and the brotherhood is intactand embarrassed.

American Free Press June 7, 2010 Fannie Mae Begs for Billions More By Victor Thorn Fannie Mae, the taxpayer bailed-out home mortgage company, recently requested another $8.4 billion in addition to the $145 billion in TARP money they'd already received. Further bloodletting won't end soon. On May 10, the AP's Alan Zibel reported, "The Obama administration pledged to cover unlimited losses through 2012 for Fannie and Freddie, lifting an earlier cap of $400 billion."
Financial analysts now suspect Fannie Mae of being a slush fund for Obama's Chicago criminal network. Former CEO Franklin Raines left under a cloud of controversy in 2004, but not before securing a $90 million bonus package.
Unfortunately, Fannie Mae epitomizes an entity that is too large to fail, because they control over half of America's 31 million mortgages, valued at $6.7 trillion.
This situation arose when international bankers urged President Clinton to pass the Community Reinvestment Act in 1995. This bill allowed universal housing to citizens who could not afford a mortgage.
A housing boom resulted, but when the bubble burst, the market plunged into steep decline. Bankers dumped these toxic loans on Fannie and Freddie.
AFP interviewed Joan Veon, a businesswoman who has attended over 100 UN financial conferences around the world, including many meetings of the most powerful members of the global elite.
"The credit crisis was planned and managed to completely change and transfer the last vestiges of our economic assets to the Federal Reserve," said Ms. Veon.
"I'm absolutely grieved to see the raping, robbing and pillaging right under the American people's noses."
She continued, "The mortgage industry comprises the foundation of our nation's middle class. Right now, Fannie and Freddie are in a holding pattern. But once an economic collapse occurs, both of them will be raided by international bankers, who'll swoop in and buy up all the mortgages for pennies on the dollar."
With so many loans centralized in one place, Ms. Veon said: "It will be much easier to plunder these institutions by a large cartel of central bankers who run the world. Fannie and Freddie are a convenient mechanism to reinvent government. The end game is 21st-century feudalism, with bankers replacing the kings, princes and dukes of old."
Ms. Veon explained: "Banks got easy profits by dumping bundles of sub-prime loans on Fannie and Freddie, all of which were guaranteed and insured by the federal government. This ruse was accomplished under the guise of promoting home ownership; but really the Community Reinvestment Act was simply another element of a ponzi scheme to inject more artificial money into the system."
Highlighting the ulterior motives of Fannie Mae was their purchase on June 7, 2005 of patent No. 6904336 for a "residential cap-and-trade system." The man listed as primary "inventor" is disgraced Fannie Mae CEO Raines.

American Free Press June 7, 2010 Banks Collapsing at Faster Pace Than 2009 By Pat Shannan The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation slam-dunked 68 more banks through the end of April this year, on top of the 140 that disappeared in 2009. In 2010, failures could crack the 200 mark before year's end
With the talking heads of TV babbling on about the economy being in recovery, the FDIC announced in late February it has 702 names on its list of troubled banks, which one source says is more than the agency has manpower to even deal with. The names on the list are kept confidential, but a Maryland financial advisory, Investing Answers, has compiled a roster of its top 10 "most likely to be next," and their No. 1 on the list appears to be a cinch.
Writer Sara Glakos says "If you're a depositor, you may want to stop reading this report and hightail it to the teller's window to withdraw your deposits from these walking dead. For planning purposes, not that the FDIC generally shuts down banks after the close of business on Friday, in what has become known in the industry as Bank Failure Friday.'"
The group points out that a bank's weakness is measured by its "leverage ratio," which is reflected by too little equity compared to assets. "Remember a bank's assets' are the loans it makes to customers," said Glakos. "If too many loans go bad for too long, eventually the equity cushion disappears' and the bank finds itself underwater." Deep under water.

American Free Press June 7, 2010 Chop Social Security? There are growing concerns that the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, which was set up by the White House and staffed by former top legislators from the Republican and Democratic parties, has Social security on the chopping block.
When the Social Security Act was first proposed as part of the Second New Deal (1935-36) under the Roosevelt administration, many populist at the time such as Fr. Charles Coughlin opposed it out of concern that bankers and big business would co-opt the program, just as they had FDR. Today, it's looking more andmore like these concerns are coming to fruition.
According to reports, the White House is looking to trade cuts in "entitlements" in return for Republican support for tax increases.
The term "entitlement" has been used to characterize Social Security. But the truth is, the program is not actually a special benefit afforded to American taxpayers. Over the years, working-class families have been forced to pay into the system via taxes taken out of their paychecks. The federal government takes the money under the pretense that Americans will get it back when they retire. Of course, Washington has been raiding that money for decades, so there is no money in surplus, only IOUs.
Now, this 18-member commission, which is stacked with Beltway insiders, sees cutting this "liability" as a way to increase revenue for the federal government.
Worse still, some on the panel have actually argued that, by chopping meager Social Security payments to retirees, it will help convince bankers in bond markets that the government is serious about tackling politically unpopular issues. In return, the government could save a few interest points on bonds sold to investors.
Former Republican Sen. Alan Simpson, the "conservative" cop-chair of the panel, has already voiced his disdain for "entitlements" like Social Security.
"How did we get to a point in America where you get to a certain age in life, regardless of net worth or income, and you're entitled'?" Simpson told a mainstream reporter. "The word itself is killing us."
The token "liberal," John Podesta had this to say about cutting entitlements. "Social Security reforms could starkly demonstrate to skeptical debt markets that the United States is willing to take on a politically difficult fiscal issue."

American Free Press June 7, 2010 Feds Side With Illegals, Not Citizens of Arizona, on Immigration By Jim Traficant Our borders are wide open, yet all the politicians keep bragging about everything that is being done to protect America. The propaganda machine out of Washington keeps promoting the Office of Homeland Security as the answer to America's crises with terrorists. Tell me folks, how can the Homeland security protect Americans from terrorists with our borders wide open? Homeland security supports the current open-border system and opposes legal actions taken by Arizona.
Now if that's not enough to roast your chestnuts, Congress and the White House have not even bothered to phone the governor of Arizona. Instead, the president of Mexico was invited to address a joint session of Congress. Think about it, no one - I mean nobody - in our own central government bothered to speak with Arizona's officials, but, instead, they hosted Mexico's President Felipe Calderon.
Calderon called the Arizona law "discriminatory" and hinted that it was an "un-American action." Calderon's criticism of Arizona's action earned him a standing ovation from Democrats at the joint session. This is unbelievable.
Congress bashed Arizona, and Calderon bashed Arizona, while the Mexican law dealing with immigration is much stricter than Arizona's. This all comes from a foreign leader whose citizens are literally sprinting across our open borders, killing Americans who try to protect their families and property, overrunning our welfare and healthcare systems and helping to bankrupt our great nation. And the response is a standing ovation?
As the member of Congress who passed legislation to locate 10,000 soldiers on our borders to protect America, I say America doesn't need a Department of Homeland Security. America needs a department of Common sense.
No nation, including the United States, can be protected from harm and terrorists without a secure border. It is as simple as that. This isn't brain surgery. The politicians are catering to the big bloc of Hispanic votes. Both parties are trying to recruit their votes. Meanwhile, Americans are losing their homes and some even their lives. Shame. Here are the raw, unvarnished, truthful facts of this immigration fiasco:
Our federal government has refused to do anything to help our border states that are overrun with illegals, who have overburdened the funding of state services for healthcare and welfare. Billions of dollars have been placed on the backs of working Americans, who are taxed to the gills.
Arizona is broke. Arizona faces a $3.5 billion deficit and cannot even afford to provide services for its own lawful citizens.
The federal law is clear: If you are here on a visa you must have your papers on you at all times. That's the law.
In Arizona, you need to have a drivers license, Motor Vehicles Division identification card, Native American card or a military ID. That's what you need to vote in Arizona or get a hunting license.
Nothing new has been added by Arizona's new law. No one is going to be stopped walking down the street. The "scare" campaign against Arizona is the only un-American thing that I see happening.
America is founded on the U.S. Constitution, the supreme law of our land.
Foreigners who jump the fence or cross our borders illegally are not to be accommodated. They are to be apprehended and removed. Period.
We must know who is coming across our borders, and they must come in an orderly and legal manner if they want to be a legitimate part of our nation.
Folks, that is the only way we can protect the sovereignty of our country. We have a responsibility to protect our citizens.
As for amnesty, forgiving these illegals will only cause millions more to illegally cross our borders expecting another act of amnesty. This is absurd. Throw the illegals out. Don't reward them with citizenship. Treat them exactly like Mexico treats its illegal trespassers.
Mexican officials fo not give them amnesty - they throw them out, and oftentimes, imprison them.

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Bilderberg Meets In Spain Global Cabal Weakened, But Won't Give Up NWO Dream By James P. Tucker, Jr. Bilderberg boys were so depressed as they gathered at the Dolce luxury hotel in Sitges, Spain June 3 that "many important people are not showing up," because "they always find out and we get into trouble at home," said one, echoing the sentiments of all.
Still, they hope to inflict much evil on the world. An unprecedented but fruitless effort to hide the Bilderberg meeting this year was conducting the Group of 20 (G-20) economic meeting in Busan, South Korea.
Always before, like clockwork, the Bilderberg group would meet on the same continent as the G-20: Europe or North America. This, too, proved futile. Bilderberg was greeted with a hostile press and public.
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was conspicuous at G-20. The meeting ended Saturday. But, with a 12-hour time difference, Korea's Saturday ended in plenty of time for Geithner to join his Bilderberg buddies.
Bilderberg had bad news out of the G-20 meeting. Not only was G-20 pessimistic about survival of the euro, it gave up on establishing a global bank tax following complaints from Canada, Australia, Brazil and India. Both the international currency and international bank tax are crucial to Bilderberg's plan to establish a world "Treasury Department."
The London Times had an advance story headlined "Secretive Bilderberg Club Ready for Protests." It said David Rockefeller and colleagues would be graced with the presence of Spanish Prime Minister Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, who will give a welcoming address. It is routine for the head of state of the host countryexcept in the U.S.to give a 30-minute welcoming address, then be required to leave. The smallest, purely local newspaper is invited to "cover" this event, but no questions.
The "story," designed to reassure locals that nothing ominous is taking place behind the armada of armed guards, is approved by Bilderberg before publication.
Also attending from Spain were Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos and former Economy Minister Pedro Solbes.
The Guardian of London carried a commentary by Charlie Skelton, who humorously observed that Spain was hoping the arrival of Bilderberg will not have the same effect suffered by the last country to host Bilderberg. In 2009, Bilderberg met in Greece, and within a year the country was bankrupt and people were rioting in the streets.
BOMB IRAN
Sadly, Bilderberg remains committed to a U.S. attack on Iran on Israel's behalf. But the cruel and clumsy attack on a flotilla bringing food and medicine to the besieged Palestinians in the Gaza Strip backfired, too (for more on this and subsequent attacks, see page 4). World outrage, including from many Jews, left Bilderberg gasping.
There is division within Bilderberg; most Americans want war, but some Europeans oppose air strikes. Many argue that Iran is not making nuclear weapons, while, they point out, Israel has had nuclear weapons since 1962. This was made public by the late Bilderberg luminary, George Ball, who was No. 2 man in the State Department under both presidents John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson.
"Iran is building nuclear weapons, which poses a threat, not only to Israel, but also to all of Europe and, potentially, to the United States," said an American, but not to universal agreement.
"We're not sure of that," a European countered. "And you have a lot more dead boys than we do."
"Israel may have to conduct a preemptive strike to protect itself from a nuclear Iran," said an American, believed by the inside source to be Keith Alexander, director of the National Security Agency, but not positively identified.
"The term preemptive strike' was invented by Israel as a synonym for waging aggressive war in 1968," the European countered. "Israel bombed Egypt in a surprise attack, wiping out the Egyptian air force on the ground. Israel was under no threat at all."
The American walked away, shaking his head with a "where have I failed?" look.
GLOBAL WARMING
They are still trying to exploit the myth of "global warming" to establish a world "Department of Energy" although one mourned that "we are about whipped on climate change." Leading climatologists say fluctuations in Earth's temperature are natural. "Global warming" claims are a fraud, they say.
A newly leaked internal document "outlines how Spain's green economy initiatives' have been a financial disaster," reported David E. Robinson, in his newsletter Brunswick Bits Abound. The report "suggests that the real rate of job losses as a result of green' policies is in fact worse than the 2.2 jobs lost for every one gained and that the green economy' must be abandoned if the country is to save itself from economic ruin," Robinson stated.
Despite setbacks, Bilderberg is still trying to exploit the global financial crisis to create a world Treasury Department and a global currency.
These would be major steps in Bilderberg's ultimate goal of creating a "one-world government." This has been a harsh struggle for the global plutocracyin the 1990s Bilderberg was confident of achieving world government by the year 2000. A decade later, the goal remains elusive.

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Israel Strikes on High Seas Again; World Outraged By Victor Thorn On June 8, 1967, members of the Israel Defense Force (IDF) slaughtered 35 U.S. sailors, while wounding 170 others during their attack on the USS Liberty. Fast-forward to today, and the IDF continues to deliberately massacre innocent people (in this case civilians) in international waters.
On the morning of May 31, the Mavi Marmarapart of a seven-ship international flotillaflew a white flag, the universal symbol of non-violence. Aboard this craft were tons of medical supplies, food, wheelchairs and other humanitarian aid products. Absolutely no weapons were discovered among the cargo.
Despite its benign nature, suddenly, in the pre-dawn hours, Israeli patrol boats, dinghies and helicopters approached the Mavi Marmara. While their sea-based vessels bristled with gunfire, the IDF's airborne contingent unleashed an array of gas and sound bombs.
One of the passengers, Jamal Elshayyal of Al Jazeera news, described the onslaught. "It was an unprovoked attack," said Elshayyal. "Tear gas was used, sound grenades were launched, and rubber-coated steel bullets were fired from almost every direction."
The notion that these assailants only used "rubber bullets" or "paintball guns" is an obvious cover story. Yonatan Shapira, a former IDF officer, admitted, "No Israeli pilot would drop commandos on a ship in the middle of the sea, in the middle of the night, during such an operation without the soldiers carrying live ammunition. There is no doubt that the soldiers had, and were prepared to use, live ammunition."
Indeed they did. After assailants dropped onto the humanitarian ship from helicopters, eyewitness Nilufer Cetin, who held a one-year-old baby, remarked, "The operation started immediately with firing."
Writing for The Guardian in the UK on June 4, Robert Booth described the massacre. "The oldest victim, 60-year-old Ibrahim Bilgin . . . had been shot once in the right temple, once in the right side of the chest, once in the back and once in the hip," wrote Booth.
He further elaborated on 54-year-old Cetin Topcuotlu, who was shot "once in the back of his head, once in his hip and once in his belly." Another victim was riddled with five bullets, one at point-blank range to the back of his head.
Australian Sunday Morning Herald journalist Paul McGeough viewed the carnage from an adjacent ship.
He said the IDF commandos went on a rampage like "hyenas hunting animals in the night."
To put this matter into perspective, on the one hand you had masked bloodthirsty murderers storming onto a ship filled with unarmed civilians, namely nurses, doctors, teachers and humanitarian aid workers. Nine of these passengers (one an American) were killed, 48 were wounded, while six still remain missing.
Again, their mission must be reiterated: This flotilla's sole aim revolved around delivering life-sustaining goods to the Gaza Strip, which the Brussels Tribunals calls "the world's largest open-air prison and the 21st century's undeclared concentration camp."
The backlash against this undeniable war crime has been nearly universal. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogen spoke out at a funeral service for one of the teenage victims. "You killed 19-year-old Furkan Dogan brutally; which faith, which holy book, can be an excuse for killing him?" he asked. "It is no longer possible to cover up or ignore Israel's lawlessness."
Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) agreed, stressing in a letter to President Obama that Israel's preferred status "does not extend to shooting innocent civilians anywhere in the world, anytime it pleases."
Still, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists his military forces only acted in "self-defense."
Such blatant deceit is akin to a gun-toting burglar breaking into the home of unarmed citizens, slaughtering three of them in cold blood, then complaining to police that he only acted in such a brutal fashion to protect himself. Yet he was the only one with a weapon, and he intruded into the house.
Any jury in the world would convict a thug for such murderous acts, but since Israel has the presiding judge (i.e. the United States of America) in its back pocket, its crimes continue to go unpunished.
The Goldstone Report, which detailed Israeli war crimes in its war on Gaza, and the Mossad assassination of a Hamas leader in a Dubai hotel are two recent examples of Israel's immunity from prosecution.
Indicative of Israel's appallingly demented mind set is an incident that occurred a week after the Mavi Marmara bloodbath.
Another aid ship, the MV Rachel Corrie, was subjected to an Israeli hijacking. Although they didn't unleash another killing spree on this occasion, it's reported that the commandos refused to call the vessel by its proper name. When radioing into port, the Israelis referred to the Rachel Corrie as "Linda," the boat's previous name.
Rachel Corrie, an American peace activist, died on March 16, 2003 when an IDF bulldozer crushed her to death as she stood in front of a Palestinian's home set to be demolished. The IDF soldier driving the massive Caterpillar bulldozer claimed he couldn't see Ms. Corrie, despite the fact that photos show her standing on a large pile of dirt, screaming at the operator with a bullhorn.
Similar to how Israeli government leaders stonewalled that incident, Israelis, too, have refused any independent investigations into the Mavi Marmara attack.
AFP correspondent Matthias Chang, the author of the Future FastForward series published by this newspaper, was on the Rachel Corrie. You can see Chang's reports on Future FastForward.com

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Put Patients and Doctors Back in Charge of Healthcare By Rep. Ron Paul Most everyone agrees that healthcare in the United States has major problems, the biggest problems relating to skyrocketing costs. No one doubts the system is in need of reform. However, too many in Washington see tighter government controls as the solution. In fact, the problems are rooted in past government controls that created more problems than they solved.
Ironically, laws and policies in the 1970s promoting health maintenance organizations (HMOs) resulted from desperate attempts to control spiraling costs.
However, instead of promoting an efficient healthcare system, HMOs took far too much control away from patients and physicians and gave it to the insurers. This excessive reliance on third-party payers removed incentives for insured patients to economize on healthcare costs, and allowed the problem to snowball.
Furthermore, the third-party payer system created a two-tier healthcare system where people whose employers could afford to offer "Cadillac" plans have access to top-quality healthcare, while others face financial obstacles in obtaining quality healthcare.
For these and other reasons, I introduced the Private Option Healthcare Act last week. This bill places individuals back in control of healthcare by replacing the recently passed tax-spend-and-regulate healthcare law with reforms designed to restore a free market system.
First, the bill would provide all Americans with a tax credit for 100 percent of healthcare expenses. This tax credit is fully refundable against both income and payroll taxes. It would also allow individuals to roll over unused amounts in cafeteria plans and flexible savings accounts (FSAs). Next, it would provide a tax credit for premiums for high-deductible insurance policies connected with a health savings account (HSAs) and allow seniors to use funds in HSAs to pay for "medigap" policies.
In addition, it would repeal the 7.5 percent threshold for the deduction of medical expenses, and thus would make all medical expenses tax deductible.
This bill would also create a competitive market in health insurance by exercising Congress's constitutional authority under the commerce clause to allow individuals to purchase health insurance across state lines.
Ending these state-imposed bans would create a competitive national marketplace in health insurance.
The Private Option Healthcare Act would also ensure that people harmed during medical treatment receive fair compensation while simultaneously reducing the burden of costly malpractice litigation on the healthcare system. The bill achieves this by providing a tax credit for negative outcomes insurance purchased before medical treatment. This type of insurance would provide compensation for any negative outcomes without having to go through lengthy litigation or giving huge sums to trial lawyers.
Finally, the Private Option Healthcare Act would lower the prices of prescription drugs by reducing barriers to the importation of Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved pharmaceuticals. Under my bill, anyone wishing to import a drug simply submits an application to the FDA, which then must approve it unless it is either not approved for use in the United States or is adulterated or misbranded.
The Private Option Healthcare Act allows Congress to correct the mistake it made in March by replacing the new healthcare law with healthcare measures that give control to individuals, instead of the federal government and corporations.

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 A Billion Here, a Billion TherePretty Soon, Real Money By Jim Traficant The word "billion" has become a much-used term. The government uses it in almost every press release. There's stimulus billions, revenue billions, bailout billions, deficit billions and entitlement billions. The "billion" word has become a casual, loosely used term by Washington big shots. It's so casual that dollars just seem to get lost in that huge morass of "billion-dollar" lingo.
The truth is, a billion is nothing to sneeze at. A billion is most significant once you categorize it in some comprehensible perspective. Let's do just that:
A billion seconds ago, it was 1959.A billion minutes ago, Jesus was alive. A billion hours ago was the Stone Age.
On the other hand, a billion dollars ago was only eight hours and 20 minutes ago, at the rate our current government is spending it.
You might consider the request now being made to Congress by the city of New Orleans. New Orleans was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. As a result, New Orleans is asking Washington for $250 billion.
Exactly what does this number of 250 billion dollars represent? There are approximately 485,000 residents of New Orleans, which includes every man woman and child. Each of them would get $515,464, if the money was simply handed out.
Quantifying this $250 billion in another perspective, there are approximately 188,000 homes in New Orleans. Every home would get over $1.3 million. Taking it further, if each household was hypothetically a family of four, each family would get $2 million.
Does New Orleans need help? Yes. But, where do the limits begin? Who uses the calculators? Washington is so casual with $250 billion that is being thrown aroundlike a sort of number without roots. How are these billions provided?
You guessed it: Taxes. All kinds of taxes. Taxes at every level. Let's list a few: Cigarette taxes, corporate income taxes, federal income taxes, federal unemployment taxes, food license taxes, fuel permit taxes, gasoline taxes, diesel taxes, inventory taxes, IRS interest charges (a tax on taxes), IRS penalties (more taxes on taxes), liquor taxes, luxury taxes, Medicare taxes, Social Security taxes, road usage taxes, telephone federal excise taxes, telephone federal universal service fee tax, telephone federal surcharge taxes, saving account interest taxes, freight taxes, export taxes, etc.
You see: From the womb to the tomb, we are taxed in every possible way at every possible angle. And don't forget all of those surtaxes.
Not one of these taxes, listed above, existed 100 years ago. And, guess what, our nation was the most prosperous in the entire world. We had no national debt.
Families could raise the kids on one income. And no one had to dial "1" for English, even though we were a melting pot at the time.
Last week I detailed the cost and foolish blunders of our involvement in foreign wars. War is just a part of this dire economic crisis. Another major contributing factor to our debt is the cost in billions of illegal immigration.
That's billions, not millions, here. Close to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year, by state governments. Over $2.2 billion each year is spent on food assistance programs to illegal aliens. Over $2.5 billion a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens. Over $12 billion a year is spent on primary and secondary education for children of illegal aliens who speak no English. Over $17 billion a year is spent for educating American-born children of illegal aliens. Over $90 billion a year is spent on illegal aliens for welfare and social services. Over $1 billion per year is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. Over $200 billion a year is lost to U.S. workers in suppressed wages caused by illegal aliens.
In comparison, illegal aliens sent over $45 billion back to their home countries. That money is then spent in those foreign countries, which doesn't help the U.S. In addition, the National Policy Institute estimates that deporting illegal aliens will cost American taxpayers over $338 billion.
A billion should not be mentioned so casually, folks. After all, a billion here and a billion there, really does add up. In fact, it already has. Get back at me!

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Doing Away with 'Secret Proceedings,' AFP Makes Big News Covering Bilderberg By Mark Anderson "The very word secrecy' is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths, and to secret proceedings."
U.S. President John F. Kennedy spoke about such proceedings during his 1961 "secret societies" speech, given to newsmen. He asked them to work with him in giving the people the hard truth and "to arouse and even anger public opinion" regarding a growing "ruthless, monolithic conspiracy" that he spoke of in those exact words.
JFK felt freedom itself was at stake, so he warned the journalists so they could warn the people.
The highly secretive Bilderberg Group that meets every year was seven years old when JFK spoke those words. And now, just shy of 50 years since that speech, Bilderberg's routine practice of secret proceedings is seriously eroding as this AMERICAN FREE PRESS deputy editor and editor Jim Tucker found out during AFP's coverage of the 2010 Bilderberg meeting in Sitges, Spain at Hotel Dolce.
Reporters in Sitges mobbed AFP's team for quotes and interviews, especially on June 3, when Hotel Antemare's patio was filled for several hours with network news teams, citizen-journalists, activists and onlookers eager to get AFP's take on the "Bilderberg Meeting" officially convening June 4 through June 7 at the secluded Hotel Dolce some 2 miles away. On June 4, Tucker was interviewed almost nonstop from noon to 10 p.m. Tucker and this writer also were on Alex Jones' radio show in America via phone.
On June 6, this writer spoke to 400 people with a phone-feed from Spain to the "Conspiracy Con" conference in Santa Clara, Calif., hosted by AFP's Michael Collin's Piper.
This year's intense Bilderberg interest in Spain was mainly driven by awareness of Tucker's 31 years of spotlighting this shadowy annual meeting of 120 insiders from the fields of high finance, big media, government and industry, along with royalty. He and this writer told Spanish reporters and various other European media that armed guards around the secretive Bilderberg meetings are automatic evidence that the meetings are not the harmless casual get-togethers that some claim they are.
We outlined Bilderberg's meddling in the energy policies, monetary policies, foreign policies and other critical matters of what should be sovereign nations. We asked that viewers and readers of these area media outlets demand that Bilderberg officials turn over a list of attendees and an agenda of their 2010 meeting. Calls were placed directly by AFP and other media to Hotel Dolce to request a press conference. All were snubbed. "What part of no' don't you understand?" a woman at Hotel Dolce quipped to AFP.
A number of things converged this year in this beautiful Mediterranean city. As various news crews interviewed both members of the AFP team, Spanish newspapers such as El Periodico, LaVanguardia, Diari De Villanova, and El Pais some of which AFP had contacted upon arrival published Bilderberg stories of varying lengths and content. CNN's local TV affiliate reported on the Bilderberg meeting as well, with their correspondent Georgina Ferri spending long hours outside the main entrance road leading to Hotel Dolce. The Channel 6 (LaSexta Noticia) Sitges-based reporting team did much the same; furthermore, the widely-read Russia Today network, led by British-born reporter Laura Emmet, spent both June 3 and June 4 with the AFP team, interviewing this writer June 3 and Tucker on June 4.
Watch the Russia Today interview here:
http://rt.com/Top_News/2010-06-03/bilderberg-group-spain-protests.htmlMoreover, TV 3 (www.tv3.cat), a television and internet broadcast outfit that serves some 7 million viewers in this Catalonia region of Spain while reaching thousands of other satellite TV subscribers and internet viewers in other parts of the world filmed a segment of this writer the morning of June 4. A budding documentary project about Bilderberg filmed lengthy segments of this writer's and Tucker's comments over both days; moreover, miscellaneous networks such as "Efe" interviewed the AFP team, and "TV E" spent a lot of time at the protest site.
Two well-known Bilderberg hounds, author Daniel Estulin and columnist Charlie Skelton, were in town. Estulin said he just spoke to the European parliament on Bilderberg, while Skelton, in his Guardian column in England, criticizes Bilderberg with wit and insight. Skelton even set up a make-shift "press conference" site at a nearby camp, where dozens of activists gathered, spent the night and shared news tidbits, photos and ideas.
We Are Change/Frankfurt activist Michael Williams told AFP around June 4: "I did not have the radio on all day, but when I had it on, they would say Bilderberg ... Bilderberg.'"
AFP also learned that at least one morning TV talk show that broadcasts throughout Spain carried a minimum 30-minute segment on Bilderberg, showing pictures of the hotels from the group's past meetings.
Another major breakthrough was that the London Daily Telegraph carried a big Bilderberg story June 5, with the headline, "Their Secret is Out." Along the top were pictures of current British Prime Minister David Cameron, Prince Charles and other notables. The article was published as a spoof, sarcastically concluding that Bilderberg is mainly elder statesmen, graying financiers and their colleagues basking in "old glories." AFP's Tucker was painted as a rather paranoid plutocrat follower who reads too much into Bilderberg.
But Tucker is pleased to be mentioned twice in the story with the full name of his Bilderberg Diaries book included. When this was communicated to the California conference audience, they cheered the Telegraph for providing AFP with free advertising regarding Bilderberg.
Those acknowledged by the Telegraph as attending Bilderberg 2010 include: Josef Ackerman, a big wig with Deutsche Bank; Richard Holbrooke, an Afghanistan envoy for U.S. President Obama; and Venezuelan media mogul Gustavo Cisneros Rendiles. AFP worked with area freelancers and found Spanish newspapers and others confirming Microsoft's Bill Gates as attending. Gates later admitted he was there to give the Spanish Prime Minister a lecture on supporting the "carbon tax."
Of course, as Tucker has often noted, major American media outlets that actually send their people to the Bilderberg meetings, unlike the news sources mentioned in this story, will not report a peep on the meetings. Some have been silent for decades. These include the more obvious Washington Post and New York Times officials who have traditionally attended Bilderberg and kept their mouths shut.
Sources said another 2010 Bilderberg attendee was Oscar Bronner, publisher of Der Standard in Austria; as well as a notable Spanish media attendee pointed out by a Sitges newspaper staff writer who preferred anonymity. The local writer noted in an AFP interview that the El Pais newspaper story on Bilderberg is especially significant, although she said it is largely a puff piece intended to downplay Bilderberg's significance which is no surprise since the newspaper falls under the purview of Juan Luis Cebrian, a high roller in the PRISA news conglomerate who regularly attends Bilderberg, apparently including this year.
The Sitges reporter said it's remarkable that El Pais reported anything, however, since it has been silent on Bilderberg since the 1970s, as far as she knows.
This writer and Tucker were recognized by some people around town and by the Antemare Hotel staff and manager for having been on Spanish television about Bilderberg. Amid the glaring publicity, the shadowy group apparently left town a little earlier than expected. They were not wanted there.

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Mainstream Suppresses Health Dangers of BP Gusher By Victor Thorn As the Gulf of Mexico'a "oil volcano" continues to spew uncontrollably, Lindsey Williams, author of the book The Energy Non-Crisis and an expert on energy-related matters, contends that coastal residents may be facing a number of dangerous health-related issues that are not being reported by mainstream media sources. He also dismisses the notion of "peak oil," opting instead for a theory that oil is constantly being created as part of natural processes deep within the Earth.
During a June 4 interview with this author, Williams stressed: "The biggest factor is airborne contaminants. People see oil washing up onto the shores, yet volatile contaminants in the air are a scourge that cold turn catastrophic and make people sick.
Williams cited hydrogen sulfide, benzene and methylene fluoride as the three primary threats. Safety levels for these substances range from five to 10 parts per billion (ppb), but the BP spill has elevated them to 1,200 to 3,000 ppb.
Williams minces no words: "If this gusher isn't capped soon, it will be one of the worst disasters for humankind on planet Earth," said Williams. "We have no idea what we've gotten ourselves into with this monster. The government is horrified that if they reveal the entire truth, widespread panic will occur. People don't know what they're facing, and we're not being told all the details."
OIL NO FOSSIL FUEL'
Williams added that he is among a growing contingent that believes oil should not be viewed as a "fossil fuel" that resulted from organisms over millions of years turning ultimately into oil. Rather, he accepts what is called the"abiotic theory" of petroleum origins.
"Oil is formed by a chemical process deep inside the Earth," he said, "which then seeps upward into enormous pools that continually replenish over time." His position is reinforced by crucial data.
BP, the Russians and other deep-well drillers have discovered oil at depths of 35,000 to 43,000 feet. However, other organic matter has never been found any lower than 18,000 feet.
In this regard did oil form from the remains of dead dinosaurs, or is it a naturally occurring based process involving non-living mineral matter? Also, why have wells pumped dry decades ago suddenly replenished themselves with renewed oil?
A number of researchers view "peak oil" as a conspiracy forwarded by the energy cartel for one particular reason: If they convince the public that oil is in an ever-diminishing supply, then prices will surely continue to increase.
But if the British Petroleum oil disaster is any indicator, it appears as if virtually unlimited amounts of oilreside well below where any fossils are ever known to have existed.

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Chronic Over-Use of Antibiotics Linked to Cancer By James Howenstine An important study from the Journal of the American Medical Association published on Feb. 18, 2004 revealed that women who have taken antibiotics are at increased risk for developing breast cancer. Ten thousand Dutch women were studied including 2,266 who had brest cancer. As the number of prescriptions for antibiotics increased, the risk of breast cancer steadily climbed. Women who had more than 25 prescriptions for antibiotics filled over a 17-year follow-up exhibited twice the incidence of breast cancer as women who took no antibiotics. The women who had fewer than 25 antibiotic prescriptions had about a 50 percent greater risk than women who took no antibiotics. There did not seem to be any differences related to various types of antibiotics.
Similarly, research from Finland in 2000 involving 10,000 women revealed that women below the age of 50 who had taken antibiotics for urinary infections had an increaded risk of breast cancer.
Having a healthy gastrointestinal tract is a key factor for good health. All antibiotics kill friendly intestinal bacteria that help keep our immune systems strong. Then these bacteria are killed by antibiotic therapy, they are replaced in the intestines by more dangerous anaerobic bacteria, parasites, fungi, yeasts and mycoplasmas. We then become more likely to develop generalized infections from this greater population of undesirable organisms.
Additionally, the escape from some of these organisms of toxic substances released into the blood may lead to dysfunction of the endocrine glands (hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency) and neurological symptoms similar to multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis etc.
Our ability to kill cancer cells is probably being compromised by decreased production of intestinal immune cells. More than 70 percent of our immune system sells reside in the intestines. Gastrointestinal bacteria also supply the body with important nutrients and vitamins. This function can be compromised by the decrease in friendly bacteria.
The use of probiotics - unpasteurized goat and cow yogurt, sauerkraut, kefir, kombucha and raw milk - can help preserve normal numbers of healthy bacteria in the intestines during a course of antibiotics.
Suppressed activity of killer lymphocytes related to decreased production of immune cells by damaged intestines whose health has been compromised by loss of healthy intestinal flora could be a key contributing factor to the lymphoma problem.
We need to be aware that cancer cells are appearing by the millions daily in our bodies and are being steadily killed if our immune systems are healthy. By the time a cancer is large enough to be picked up by diagnostic teast, it may have been present eight to 10 years and contains billions of cells.
MORE REASONS TO LIMIT ANTIBIOTIC USE
Twenty-five years ago Norway had a serious problem with methicillin resistant staphylococcal infections (MRSI). The key measure that helped conquer the problem was making sure that every antibiotic prescription was truly needed.
Overuse of antibiotics and misuse of antibiotics produce mutations in bacteria that are easily spread among species of bacteria. This results in many germs being created that no longer can be eliminated by an antibiotic that easily killed the same species five years earlier.
Dr. John Birger Haug is in charge of managing the MRSI problem in Norway. The number of antibiotic drugs available is sharply decreased when compared to other nations. Physicians must comply with sound reasons for antibiotic use before being permitted to use an antibiotic. New antibiotic drugs do not appear in the nation's formulary, where physicians would be tempted to use them.
Norwegians have learned that colds and coughing are properly managed without antibiotics. Symptoms are treated without using antibiotics. Workers are paid on days they stay home with illnesses. Drug makers are not allowed to advertise, which decreases patient pressure for antibiotic prescriptions. Penicillin is no longer a cough medicine.
In Norway MRS infections have accounted for less than 1 percent of staph infections for many years. On the other hand, Japan has seen the rate rise to 80 percent, which is the highest level in the world. Israel has a rate of 44 percent, and Greece is 38 percent.
Rapidly rising numbers of MRS infections in the United States caused the cost of these infections to soar to $5 billion in 2009. The incidence of MRSI infection in the United States had risen to 18,650 persons by 2005.
This exceeds the number of deaths from HIV.
The nations that institute programs restricting the use of antibiotics will see a prompt steady fall in MRS infections.

The Paleo-Diet: Eat Like A Caveman For Better Health By Olga Belinskaya Nutritionist and author of Your Miracle Brain Jean Carper advises that "food should be in absolute harmony with the biomechanics of the brain." Jack Challem, author of The Food-Mood Solution, says your mood should be stable and upbeat. He asserts that the brain is vry sensitive to poor nutrition, so the first signs of deficiencies and imbalances are usually alter moods and behavior.
In a healthy brain, neurotransmitter levels adjust to help deal with change and difficulties. Some elp to relax and focus, others motivate or feel like bliss. Serotonin influences practically everything from outlook on life to energy level. Gamma aminobutyric acid helps to maintain focus and relaxation. Dopamine, acetylcholine and norepinephrine energize, motivate and arouse. Wrong levels of these messengers create emotional instability, depression, anxiety, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, stress, fatigue and trouble concentrating.
Ms. Carper reminds us that today's brain and its needs developed millions of years ago. It evolved in synch with the resources of 100,000 generations of Paleolithic hunter-gatherers. They ate 65 percent nutrient-dense fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes and honey, plus 35 percent lean game, wild fowl, eggs, fish and shellfish. The standard American diet stems from the development of agriculture only 500 generations ago. On average, it consists of 55 percent "new" foods like cereal, grains, milk; 28 percent of nutrients come from fatty meat, poultry, eggs and fish. Fruits and vegetables garnish meat and dough just 17 percent of the time.
Nutritionist Dr. Boyd Eaton, author of The Paleolithic Prescription, learned that early stone-age humans ate one-and-a-half to five times as many vitamins and minerals as typical Americans do. For example, the ancient diet provided 7,000 milligrams of potassium from fruits and vegetables, versus today's 2,500.
Ms. Carper concludes that the modern diet is incongruent with our genetic makeup. The problem is that the neurotransmitters that make life worth living depend on a steady supply of high-quality nutrients. Amino acids, the building blocks of protein, precisely blend with vitamins and minerals to power the brain.
For example, Callem explains that dopamine, which helps to fucus and enjoy pleasure, results from a delicate balance of the amino acid tyrosine, folic acid, vitamin B6, magnesium, zinc and S-adenosyl-L-methionine. Apathy haunts people who don't produceenough dopamine.
"You can send out all the neurotransmitters you want, but if only 50 percent of the normally functioning receptors are in a state to activate the messengers, only 50 percent of the message gets through," adds Dr. Joseph Hibbeln from the National Institute of Health. Ms. Carper explains that each transmitter has a unique form. If only you knew that the sudden wave of worry is because stiff fat cells in your brain are keeping out calming serotonin.
One of the most important differences between ancient and modern diets is the ration of omega-3 (fish-type) fats to omega-6 (mammal and vegetable) fats. Dr. Eaton calculated that, in Paleolithic times, the ration was 1 to 1. Today, omega-6 oils outnumber omega-3s by as much as 20 to 1.

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Raw Unprocessed Foods Best for Your Pet, Too By Pat Shannan Natural News is one of the most informative web sites of all, offering both healthy tips and lengthy articles on everything from the benefits of fresh fruits and veggies to the perils of aspartame and microwave cooking. Recently, one of its freelance writers, Alice Marsden, reminded us of something that we have not addressed recently in Whole Body Health: just how important nutrition is to the health of our pets.
I may have understood this better than the majority of our readers, because three of the four dogs I had over the past 30-odd years died of cancer, and the other night likely have, too, had he not lost a battle with an Oldsmobile in his youth.
Cancer is induced by poor diet, which in turn weakens the human immune system. Should we not expect the thwarting of nature's balance to affect animals in the same way?
G. Edward Griffin, renowned author of The Creature from Jekyll Island, an exposé of the money fraud via the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank, had another writing passion in his earlier adult life, and that was the uncovering of cancer causes, remedies and preventives.
Griffin's book and later video documentary World Without Cancer touted the merits of nitrilosides (natural lactrile, vitamin B-17) and pointed out that never in recorded history has any wild animal been found with cancer in its body. Only domesticated animals, whose diets are controlled, come up with this problem.
Did you ever watch a horse eat an apple? It doesn't trim it or spit out the seeds. It eats the whole thing, core and all, and gets a great dose of nitrilosides along with it.
Since reading and watching World Without Cancer, I have done it the same way.
Veterinarian William Pollak writes, "In the wild, no one cooks for the coyote or wold. Their foods are raw and unprocessed." We're not recommending that people start eating raw meat and give up cooked vegetables. But Pollak had documented how, in animals and humans, nutrition and health are woven together. He contends that animal disease as well as disease in general comes from three basic areas: a lack of wholesome, fresh nutrition, a lack of understanding of the animal and human role in life and over medication.
Marsden adds, "To keep your pet healthy, extend your pet's life and save n vet bills, it's just as important for your pet to eat healthy as it is for you. A perceptive owner is aware that a healthy pet has clear bright eyes, brilliant coat sheen, clean teeth, good breath and a playful, happy attitude. Unfortunately, many ets are unhealthy and suffer from health problems, such as allergies, diabetes, cancer, ear infections, irritable bowel, urinary tract infections, bladder stones, scratching and skin and coat issues" attributable to their diet.
Questionable, potentially harmful ingredients are: animal by-products, artificial colors and flavors and chemical preservatives like BHA, BHT and ethozyquin, a cancer-causing preservative.
Many pet medical conditions are believed to be directly linked to diet since pet foods contain wheat, corn and soy - the top three allergy-causing grains. Byproducts, partial grains and unidentified meat sources are problem-causing also. These ingredients are often found on the labels of name-brand products that then make the dubious claim in larger print that their product is "natural and healthy" and that inside the package your pet will find lean cuts of meat and fresh vegetables.
All-natural pet food is far healthier because it contains no rendered by-products such as intestines, heads, feet or feathers, no harmful fillers and no chemical additives, and contains only human-grade ingredients. It has amino acids and basic building blocks for muscle, skin, coat, bone, blood and the immune system. In addition, it contains essential fatty acids, natural preservatives and a combination of vitamins.
According to the National Pet Owners Survey in recent years, 63 percent of all U.S. households own pets - 73 million dogs and 90 million cats. The pet industry is big business, with over $41 billion being spent on pet food, shelter, healthcare and luxuries, reports Natural News, and this amount is double what was spent 10 years ago.

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Where's the Beef in Your Ground Beef? Warning: What you are about to read about your food is not for the faint of heart. But it is important nonetheless, because few things are more significant to life than the food and drink you put in your body. By Christopher J. Petherick Summertime is the time when people across the country gather outdoors arond grills and picnic tables, cooking up what many people claim is the other national food besides hot dogs: hamburgers. But watch out: There's a nasty surprise in that supposedly healthy, low-fat, lean patty. And it is what's inside that's certain to turn even the strongest of iron stomachs out there.
If Americans actually knew what they were eating, they would e revolted. According to a new report by a leading farm magazine, what was once barely considered acceptable for the lowest-quality pet food is now increasingly being added to ground beef and sold as a lean, health-conscious food.
The May issue of Mary Jane's Farm reports that what would have preciously ended up in a trash can or bound for the pet-food factory after a steer is slaughtered at large-scale slaughterhouses is now being processed and sold as an additive for ground beef.
"Ten years ago, the rejected fat, sinew, bloody effluvia and occasional bits of meat cut from carcasses in the slaughterhouse were a low-value waste product called trimmings' that were sold primarily as pet food," reports the magazine. "Now Beef Products Inc. Of South Dakota transforms trimmings into something they call boneless lean beef.'"
Simply put, the process involves boiling down the trimmings until they are turned into a gloppy liquid. Then this soupy mess is dumped into a centrifuge, where the remaining inedible sinew or gristle is spun out of the concoction. The leftover witches' brew - called "mash" or "pink slime," depending on who you ask - is than frozen and sold as a low-cost additive to hamburger meat.
Beef Products reportedly produces 7 million pounds of this concoction every week. It is then distributed to grocery stores, schools and other institutions around the country.
That is certainly bad enough. Sadly, however, there is more.
In the United States, cattle are increasingly being fed corn in massive feedlots, largely because corn is grown in abundance, is cheap and fattens steers up quickly. The problem here, say some researchers, is that this practice is also creating super bacteria that are contaminating our food supply.
A cow's digestive system is not set up to digest corn efficiently. Feeding cattle corn can result in health problems, such as liver problems. Cows than have to be given antibiotics regularly to control infections.
But worse still, the corn acidifies a cow's rumen, or gut, which creates the perfect environment for a particularly virulent strain of bacterium called E coli 0157:H7.
Of course, the obvious solution would be to stop feeding cows corn. But that would eat into the profits of agribusiness. So these large slaughterhouses devised a novel - and completely disgusting - way of eradication the E. Coli: They stared dousing the ground beef with ammonia. Since the ammonia is "only" used in the processing, the major slaughter houses are not obligated to list it as an ingredient.
So what can Americans do to avoid toxic hamburger meat?
The easiest way is to purchase locally raised beef that comes exclusively from cows fed only of grass. This is increasingly popping up in stores across the country. If you do not have access to local farms, you can ask your local grocer or butcher to stock beef that comes from cows fed only grass.

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Slow vs. Fast Food: A Paradigm Shift By Christopher J. Petherick We all know about "fast food," the cheap, low-quality, deep-fried, often sugar-laden meals that are kept warm under heat lamps for hours and can be served in seconds. To get that 3,500-calorie, super-sized meal, you nevereven have to get out of your car and walk 50 feet to place an order. Once a guilty pleasure, fast food is now a staple in many Americans' diet. It's sold as convenient for our busy lifestyles. But with obesity, diabetes and heart disease on the rise in the United States, a change in mind set is taking shape in the country with the intention of slowing things down, to get people to actually think about what they put in their bodies.
The concept of "slow foods" actually was begun in Italy in thelate 1980s by native Italian Carlo Petrini. Petrini was trying to stop a McDonald's from opening in Rome right next to the nearly 300-year-old monument, the Spanish Steps. Petrini did not want to see massive corporations move in and homogenize Italy's great cuisine. He founded the slow food movement, where seasonal froits and vegetables and regional cuisine are packed with nutrients and served up hot and fresh to hungry people.
Petrini defined the goals of the slow food movement as preserving locally grown and heirloom fruits and vegetables, ending factory farms and bio-engineered plants and animals, educating people on nutrition and ceasing our reliance on toxic herbicides and pesticides.
Since that time, Petrini's grassroots movement has taken flight, with tens of thousands of active members in 132 nations adopting his dream.
In the United states, the slow food movement is just beginning to take shape. According to published reports, the organization boasts some 16,000 active members. In 2008, there was a sow foods convention in Northern California that drew thousands of attendees. Web sites have also been popping up that provide interested readers with a wealth of information on farms, stores and restaurants that promote slow food over fast food.
The web site SlowFoodUSA.com, which calls itself the "official site of the slow foods movement," is registered to Petrini. It is based out of New York City. On that site, readers can locate addresses and phone numbers for local slow food organizations chapters, which provide detailed information about resources such as farms, grocery stores and restaurants that promote the slow foods concept.
In the Washingon, D.C. area, for example, one restaurant stands out as an advocate of slow food: Agraria at the National Harbor, where the chef uses only seasonal, locally grown foods. Both the chef and the restaurant are supported by the North Dakota Farmers Union.
People who do nto have access to the Internet can call the main Slow Foods USA organization in New York at (718) 260-8000

American Free Press June 14&21, 2010 Mainstream Touts Health Benefits Of Diet Soda In Ridiculous Report By Mike Adams The "most retarded science journal of the year" award goes to The Journal of Urology, which has published an article suggesting that diet soda is actually an effective type of medicine for preventing kidney stones (June 19, 2010 issue). The research was led by Dr. Brian H. Eisner, a urologist at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, who is apparently completely clueless about nutrition and the toxicity of aspartame.
According to Eisner diet sodas are not only good medicine for preventing kidney stones, they're also a good source of hydration. Noting that patients need to consume two to three liters of water each day, Eisner said in a Reuters article, "If drinking these sodas helps people reach that goal, then that may be a good thing."
If you're thinking this is some dort of April Fools joke, it isn't. Eisner and The Journal of Urology are somehow convinced this is good research and that diet sodas may actually have a positive medicinal effect on the body. Instances of such "scientific" stupidity appear to be increasing in Western medicine where doctors remain wildly ignorant of the effects on the human body caused by processed ingredients or toxic chemical additives.
Aspartame, used as the primary sweetener in diet sodas, is a potent neurotoxin according to experts like Drl Russell Blaylock. Many believe it promotes headaches, vision problems, endocrine system problems and nervous system disorders. It has never been proven safe for human consumption by any honest testing.
Most diet sodas also contain alarmingly high levels of phosphoric acid, a substance that causes a huge increase in acidity throughout the body, suppressing immune function, weakening bones and contributing to kidney stones, not preventing them.
There is absolutely no question that diet soda is atrocious for your health. That a mainstream Western doctor would somehow conclude diet soda to be a medicine for preventing kidney stones is equivalent to declaring "pizza prevents heart disease" or "smoking cigarettes prevents cancer." It shows not merely the shocking nutritional ignorance of Eisner himself, but the utter lack of nutritional knowledge among his peers at The Journal of Urology, who somehow saw fit to publish his study.
This is called Science? Keep in mind that the entire claim is based on the idea that certain diet sodas contain citrate and that frequent consumption of citrate from natural sources - lemonade, lime juice etc - is well known to prevent kidney stones. Consuming natural lemonade actually does prevet kidney stones, but you can't extrapolate from that and claim a lemon-flavored diet soda will accomplish the same thing. That's like saying that since fruit helps prevent cancer, then drinking fruit punch must prevent cancer, too.
This research, by the way, never even tested diet sodas on human subjects. It's really just a "thought experiment" from someone who isn't even very good at thinking. The entire paper is the scientific equivalent of saying, "Hey, I betcha diet soda might prevent them kidney stones cuz there's citrate in it!"
And The Journal of Urology was just silly enough to actually publish it as science. It makes you wonder: What are the requirements for having a scientific paper rejected by The Journal of Urology?
I bet a paper touting the very real benefits of the Amazon rainforest herb chanca peidra (Phyllanthus niruri) would be rejected by the journal. Chanca peidra is known as the "stone breaker herb" throughout South America. It works to dissolve and eliminate kidney stones, but you'd never see that in a science journal in North America. No, they're too busy touting the "medicinal benefits" of diet soda, if you can believe that.
At this point in the article, I would normally point out how little credibility remains in the world of Western medicine and its loony research conclusions. This is an industry that thinks medicinal herb are dangerous, and that now apparently believes diet sodas are a form of medicine. Any discussion of "credibility" about such an industry is frankly just pointless.
If aspartame and phosphoric acid were somehow good for you, America would be the healthiest nation in the world. And if diet sodas actually worked, then all the people drinking them wouldn't be so obese, would they?
And if diet soda prevents kidney stones then why are most of the people suffering from kidney stones the very same people who drink a lot of soda? If anything, diet soda might cause kidney stones. But I suppose The Journal of Urology can print exactly the opposite and call it "science" if they want, right?
That's exactly why what passes for modern science has lost so much cridibility these days - because pradtically any corporate-sponsored idea, no matter how ridiculous, can end up being printed in a "scientific journal."

American Free Press June 28, 2010 Busting The Bilderberg Blackout Why the Blackout on Bilderberg? The following is a transcript of a letter sent to The Washington Post, The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times regarding their participation and their unethical refusal to cover Bilderberg. Gentlemen (and I use the term loosely): It is mind-boggling that, for years, you would attend secret Bilderberg meetings, gain foreknowledge of Earth-shaking events to come, and keep your crooked promise to report nothing. This is journalistic prostitution, plain and simple.
I, too, have attended Bilderberg for many years, but they are less gracious tome. But you will learn from the enclosed AMERICAN FREE PRESS that, as usual, Bilderberg has plans that are big and bad.
Covering Bilderberg has made it possible to write advance stories on wars, the dumping of Margaret Thatcher as prime minister of Britain, fluctuations in the value of the dollar and oil prices, among others. Lady Thatcher later acknowledged, in a private conversation with me, that she had been denounced and thrown out of office by Bilderberg. She said it was a "tribute" to be "denounced" by Bilderberg and spoke harshly of international groups that try to impose their will on sovereign nations. Britain still uses the pound, not the euro.
Jimmy Lee Hoagland, associate editor of The Washington Post, always attends Bilderberg, holding Chairman Donald Graham's hand. You were both there when Bilderberg met in Chantilly, Va. (near Washington) in 2002. Your newspaper was reporting, repeatedly, that the U.S. invasion of Iraq would come "in the late summer or early fall" of that year. But you both heard Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld say the invasion would not come until the next year2003.
Yet, you let your newspaper be wrong to protect Bilderberg. Either of you could have told the staff to stop reporting war in 2002 without mentioning Bilderberg, but you were too protective.
Things like this happen every year, but not just in the spring. In March 1985, The Washington Post carried a brief paragraph in the social section about a meeting David Rockefeller and Henry Kissinger had in Moscow with Mikhail Gorbachev, head of the then-Soviet Union. It described the meeting as productive, and that was all. But a check of the Soviet-controlled media revealed enormous developments.
Bilderberg accidentally ended the Cold War: Rockefeller and Kissinger told Gorbachev they could arrange U.S. financial aid to its puppet state of Poland only if Americans could observe a "free election." It was agreed that one-third of seats in the national assembly would be reserved for the entrenched Communist Party and another third for the Peasant Party, which had voted in lock-step with the Communists for 40 years.
One-third would be "freely elected." Could you imagine how Americans would react if only one-third of Congress was freely elected? But when it came time to form a government, "young turks" in the Peasant Party seized the moment and voted with the freely elected legislators to throw the Communists out of power and elect a young electrician as head of state. The fires of freedom spread throughout the Captive Nations, and the Iron Curtain came tumbling down.
The result was good but unintended by Bilderberg. Wars are a source of big bucks to international financiers. Sorry you guys missed the story.
Yours with contempt,
Jim Tucker,

American Free Press June 28, 2010 Crude Lies: Americans Not Getting Truth About Gulf Gusher By Jim Traficant America experienced long gas lines in the 1970s. Gasoline was rationed, fuel costs rising through the stratosphere. So Congress created a Department of Energy. Another bureaucracy, this time with one major goal: Reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
Sounded good, didn't it? Wow, we're finally going to do something about this oil thing. This trade deficit thing: oil. No more hard times. Yellow brick road forever.
Right. Who's kidding whom? America is more dependent on foreign oil today than we were in the 1970s. So much for the Department of Energy. It's nothing more than a big expense to taxpayers. The same goes for the Department of Education. States can handle their educational programs.
The truth is we have too much federal government way too much. Think about it: There are more government workers today than factory workers in America. We have no program, no strategy of economic revival, but that's a subject for another day. Today, it's all about oil. Everyone is stunned by the oil spill in the gulf. Hour after hour, there are news updates on the massive leak of a BP well in the Gulf of Mexico. Some say up to 1 million gallons are flowing into the open water each day.
Engineers from all over the world are trying to stop the spill. Every possible methodology is being employed or subject to experimentation. Bottom line: In the next two months as much as 60 million gallons of oil will foul the gulf waters and beaches from Louisiana to Mississippi to Alabama to Florida.
The problem is much greater than the mainstream media is portraying. I do not believe that the American people are getting the unvarnished truth about this disaster. I believe BP and the government are hiding the true consequences of this, hoping against hope that a miracle will save the day and seal this huge fracture. But hope won't get it. At least the American people can be informed, truthfully informed.
Just what is the truth? Let's review some facts and analyze the "science" of this disaster.
Experts agree that the pressure that blows the oil into the gulf waters is estimated to be between 30,000 and 70,000 pounds per square inch. If they are correct, and I have no reason to doubt them, this spill is impossible to control. That's right, I say impossible. There will be massive destruction in and around the gulf. The carnage to the United States will be staggering. Florida is in grave jeopardy, according to many scientists.
The scenario is clear: Super-high-pressure release of oil from the gulf floor is between 60,000 to 80,000 barrels per day. But that's not all of it. In addition to the massive, high-pressure flow of oil and toxic gases, rocks and sand spew forth as well. This is dangerous.
These rocks and sand cause a sort of "sandblasting" effect on the remaining wellhead to be worn and thus, enlarged, causing an even greater, increasing flow. They now maintain that even if some device could be placed onto the existing wellhead, it would not be able to shut off the flow.
Be advised that the original wellhead piping is about two inches thick. It's likely to be less than one inch thick now, and thinning, from this "sandblasting" effect. The oil has now reached the Gulf Stream and is entering the oceanic currents, which are four times stronger than the gulf current. What does this mean?
The science is clear: the strong oceanic currents will carry it throughout the world within 18 months. Scientists warn that the oil with the gases, including benzene and other toxins, are now depleting the oxygen in the water and will begin to kill all life in the ocean. The wellhead must be capped. Slant-drilled pressure relief "valves" will take two months to complete. If the sandblasting effect is not abated, the drilled hole in the Earth will enlarge itself beneath the wellhead and weaken the area the wellhead rests upon. The great pressure will blow the wellhead off the drilled hole, allowing unrestricted flow of oil.
Eventually, after several billion barrels of oil have been released, the massive cavity beneath the ocean floor will begin to normalize, allowing water to be forced naturally into the huge cavity where the oil was. The temperature in that cavity is 400 degrees, at minimum. The incoming water will be vaporized and turned into steam, creating an enormous force, which will actually lift the gulf floor.
One thing is certain: A massive tsunami wave between 20 to 80 feet high will be created while gravity forces the gulf floor to fall into the cavity. This is how nature seals the hole. Everything within 200 miles is in grave danger.
Man drilled the hole, but nature will seal it, if man fails to do so. This is no ordinary spill, folks. At least we should be informedtruthfully, that is. Get back at me.

American Free Press June 28, 2010 Brussels Tribunal Wants High-Seas Killers Charged By Victor Thorn As global awareness of Israeli terrorism continues to grow following the May 31 Mavi Marmara assault, an especially vocal critic is the Belgian-based Brussels Tribunal. On June 6, this writer interviewed a member of its executive committee, Dr. Ian Douglas. His words reflect the gravity of our current situation.
"Israel is seemingly unconcerned about committing murder in front of the eyes of the world," said Douglas. Commenting specifically on their attack of a humanitarian aid ship in international waters, he said unabashedly: "This is not murder; it is destruction. There is a level of violence here that is sadistic and vengeful."
Douglas next quoted an outspoken and acclaimed researcher in the field.
"Norman Finkelstein recently said that Israel is now a lunatic state with 300 nuclear warheads. He is right; and it is time, before the unimaginable occurs, that the world deals with this massive threat represented by Israel. A fitting analogy is Macbeth. Israel has so much blood on its hands that it sees phantoms everywhere, and can only go forward by more killing."
When asked of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's deceptive claim that those aboard the Mavi Marmara were "violent supporters of terrorism," Douglas responded, "Netanyahu is the violent supporter of terrorism, and an instigator of it: the terror of the Israeli state against the Palestinians. This flotilla was bringing wheelchairs, medical supplies and basic goods. It seems, for Netanyahu, it's a terrorist act to help the disabled."
The genesis of this situation began when high-level power brokers illegally seized land and created a rogue nation in 1948.
"Israel simply cannot face up to its own bloody origin," said Douglas. "It is a settler state, founded in violence by individuals who came from outside Arab countries."
The result has been a bona fide, centuries-long massacre against nearly everyone in the region.
"Israel is no longer able to perpetuate this genocide against the Palestinian people, at least not without consequence," he said. "Brave souls like those aboard the Mavi Marmara will continue their attempts to break Israel's stranglehold over the Palestinians and expose their propaganda."
When questioned about Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogen's denunciation of Israel's murderous deeds, Douglas furthered the notion: "Israel's crimes are practically numberless. Decade upon decade, we see incident after incident."
He then offered a solution: "The international community must cut all economic ties, all defense coordination and contracts, and all diplomatic, intellectual and cultural links with Israel until Zionism is recognized as racism. Until this happens, Israel continues to be the single biggest threat to world peace. The possibility of a better society will keep being suffocated by the black hole of Israel's insistence on perpetuating injustice against the Palestinians."
Douglas next addressed the Goldstone Report and the Mossad assassination of a Hamas leader in Dubai. "The overwhelming majority of the world's population knows that Israel is a lunatic state that insists on racial and religious purity," he said. "They are at war with all their neighbors, and practice brutality morning, noon and night."
Of course, American leaders insist on blindly following and enabling Israel's pathological bloodlust and reign of terror, despite global condemnation, he said. The key is energy and natural resources. "When America spends $200,000 a minute on oil, you can guess how important it is to keep the Arabs from realizing their geo-economic potential."
He continued that thought: "Ultimately, it comes down to the internal system of power in the United States. It's one built on the consumption of oil. If that system collapsed, how would America's elite keep 300 million people in line? Consumption in the United States is a technology of government, and its currency is oil."
Following the Mavi Marmara slaughter, Barack Obama's tepid response was nearly identical to how Bush and Cheney would have reacted.
Douglas provides some invaluable insights here: "Washington has become indistinguishable from Tel Aviv, or vice versa. Obama is either unwilling, unable or doesn't want to break free from that."
Worse, Douglas fails to see any profound shift in our future foreign policy.
"I feel genuinely sorry for those who bought into the lies of hope and change," he said. "Obama might be able to sell hope in America, but the Palestinians have no hope in Obama. He won't help them, and never intended to."

American Free Press June 28, 2010 Collectivizing Healthcare Costs Won't Make Health Better By Rep. Ron Paul The administration's terrible healthcare "reform" bill is now law, but the debate over howand whetherthe federal government should be involved in providing healthcare services is not over. It is not too late for America to correct its course and stop the march toward a government run, "single payer" healthcare system.
Polls show that a large majority of Americans don't want Obamacare. Congress should seize the opportunity to repeal the very worst aspect of this new legislation, namely the mandate that forces every American either to purchase health insurance or face an IRS penalty.
This mandate represents nothing more than an unconstitutional, historically unprecedented gift to the insurance industry. I introduced the "End the Mandate Act" (H.R. 4995) expressly to prevent the administration from ever putting this provision into effect. Instead of mandating the same failed "entitlement" healthcare schemes that are bankrupting Europe, Congress should fundamentally reexamine the case for free-market healthcare. Our current model, based on employer-provided health insurance, did not arise based on market preferences. On the contrary, it makes no sense to couple health insurance with employment. But federal wage and price controls instituted during World War II left employers with no alternative to attract workers in a tight labor market other than offering extra benefits such as health insurance and pensions.
Over time these non-wage benefits became the norm, especially since employers could deduct the cost of health insurance premiums from their income taxes while individuals could not. The perverse consequence is that employees lose both their paychecks and their health insurance when they lose their job.
As reliance on third-party health insurance grew, patients became detached from the true costs of their doctor visits. In the 1970s the Nixon administration, along with the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, championed the cause of health maintenance organizations (HMOs). Congress accepted the faulty premise that HMOs would reduce costs through centralized management of patients, when in fact the opposite was true: More bureaucracy would only lead to higher costs, less accountability and worse patient care.
In recent years Congress has only intensified the problem with more laws and more regulations, especially with the disastrous Medicare prescription drug benefit. The drug benefit was another example of naked patronage to a politically connected industry, and it exponentially worsened the federal government's balance sheet. Obamacare will be the last nail in the coffin of our bankrupt entitlement system.
More laws are not the answer. Instead, we need to allow a free market system to operate that reflects consumer choices while rationally pricing services. In a market system patients likely would pay cash for basic services, while maintaining relatively high-deductible catastrophic insurance for serious illnesses and accidents.
The cost of most routine medical care would drop if the patient paid the bill on the spot, especially if doctors no longer needed to employ large staffs solely to deal with insurance and billing.
Let me repeat: We need a system in America whereby patients pay cash for basic services and carry insurance only for serious illnesses and accidents.
Health maintenance is the responsibility of each of us individually. We cannot continue to collectivize the costs of healthcare and expect things to get better. Authoritarianism is bad for your health. Congress should end the Obamacare mandate and allow market-based medicine to flourish.

American Free Press June 28, 2010 Citizens Prevented From Voting In Arkansas Election By Pat Shannan Wth the immense amount of attention computerized election fraud has drawn in recent years, Garland County, Ark., voters are wondering if the power brokers have discovered a new way to steal an election.
Blanche Lincoln, who at age 38 made history in 1998 as the youngest woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate, was confronting a serious challenge from Arkansas Lt. Gov. Bill Halter in the Democratic primary. She also had angered the labor unions and some of her more liberal constituents with her recent voting record in the Senate.
Garland County - Hot Springs is its country seat - had 42 polling places open for the May 18 primaries but opened 40 fewer - only two - for the June 8 run off. The county has a population of approximately 100,000. Therefore an unknown number of votes were not cast at all in what had been a Halter stronghold in May.
Is this the latest method of election fraud?
After learning of the massive reduction in voting places, Halter had appealed to the election commission late in the week of June 1, and a local commissioner had agreed to open up a Hot Springs location for an early vote on the Saturday prior to the June 8 runoff. A public announcement was made to alert the citizenry that the early voting place would be open.
Then, an attorney with the secretary of state's office advised him he could not do it because Arkansas law requires him to give at least five days notice to the public when opening a polling location. Another announcement was made to cancel, but much of the public missed the second one and showed up at the pre-announced polling place on Saturday morning, only to be turned away. Many of these people were unable to vote the following Tuesday because of work obligations and the traveling distance required.
Ms. Lincoln, who was publicly supported by Barack Obama, won the statewide vote by 52 to48 percent, but a lawsuit on behalf of three Arkansas voters challenging the validity of the election was filed the following week.
"They've tried this before," Hot Springs attorney Ben Hooten said in an interview with Politics Daily, presumably referring to the "good ol' boys" in Arkansas politics. "They tried it in 2008, and I filed suit then. It was a special election on bonds that year, but they closed all the polls citywide but one."
Hooten's lawsuit charges that the election committee chose to only open two polling stations for "the purpose of disfranchising" thousands of Main Street voters in the country. Furthermore, it adds that many voters were not even able to polling places that remained open. Therefore, he alleges, they were "deprived of their right to vote."
In an apparent move to avoid any political favoritism in the lawsuit, Hooten made no mention of Halter's may 18 victory in Hot springs and Garland County as compared to his loss there only three weeks later.
However, the other side of the coin is an enigma.
Halter, 49, is not only the current lieutenant governor, a left-leaning Clinton Democrat and a potential star for the New World Order (NWO), but as a former Rhodes scholar to England's king-making Oxford University, he has a quarter-century of NWO grooming behind him. Why is he being dumped? Has he angered someone higher up and more important than just the labor unions?
Previously, former President Bill Clinton appointed Halter as the deputy commissioner of the Social Security Administration from 1999 to 2001. He then rose to acting commissioner. Clinton had previously appointed him as a senior adviser in the Office of Management and budget from 1993 to 1999. This gives him two decades of Washington insider politics under his belt.
Considering Arkansas' infamous history of corruption, dirty politics, multiple murder and cover-up; then adding to the mix the names of Faubus, Fullbright, Rockefeller and, of course, Clinton - and topping it with the legalized murder of Gordon Kahl and the jailing of his innocent son - nothing that happens in that state is surprising anymore.
Was the "fix" really in? And if so, why was the fair-haired boy" of the establishment done away with via the Blanche Lincoln run-off victory?

American Free Press June 28, 2010 Don't Tread On Me Film Festival Begins By Mark Anderson There is a now film project out there that is intended to raise the level of awareness bout combating tyranny in America. It is being done across the nation, in a concerted, grassroots fashion, with activists sponsoring move-watching parties to help educate people and spread the word.
"Americans are drawing a line in the sand by gearing up to host simultaneous screenings of the new film Don't Tread on Me: Rise of the Republic on Saturday, June 26," said Angie Ress of the Illinois-based Restore the Republic organization.
"Participants who register their screening receive a signed release from the film makers and high-resolution movie poster they can download for printing," she said. They can hang the poster in the location they choose to show the film as part of the nationwide event.
Registration for the national grass-roots screening day has already begun. To do so online, and to et more information, go to donttreadonmemovie.com.
The film makers are Gary Franchi and William Lewis. Franchi is editor of Republic magazine, is executive director of Restore the Republic, and is executive producer and host of RealityReport.tv, an internet news broadcast produced like a television broadcast but oriented toward exposing the real news behind the news, getting to the bottom of the forces that control America.
Lewis has produced or helped produce a number of films, including Camp REMA and Washington, You're Fired.
The film makers are asking citizens across the country to hold screenings of their latest film in their home, at their local public library or at a local cinema if available. Otherwise they can travel to the nearest location where others are screening the film. As of May 24, Franchi told AFP that 93 screenings had been planned, 38 of which were public, mainly in theaters and libraries. He said the list was growing.
Franchi, the new film's producer, "intends to send shockwaves through the American consciousness with this oneday simultaneous screening to educate and activate Americans on one of the key solutions to restoring our constitutional republic," Ms. Ress said, adding, "William Lewis, director of the film, advocates strongly for the 10th Amendment as that solution along with clarifying the real meaning of the 2nd Amendment."
The 10th Amendment to the Constitution essentially says the central government should only exercise those limited powers expressly assigned to it by the Constitution and that all other functions and duties are automatically reserved to the states and the people. The Second Amendment says the government shall not infringe upon the birthright of Americans to defend themselves from any and all aggressors, including government tyranny, with firearms.
"Screener packs" have been made available for organizers. These include either six or 11 official DVDs of Don't Tread on Me: Rise of the Republic at a special wholesale price so organizers anywhere "can resell them at their venue of choice to raise money for their efforts," Ress added.
Alongside the June 26 screenings, Franchi and Lewis ask those who purchase the film to make copies and distribute the DVD "in a viral hand-to-hand campaign.
"During the years leading up to the revolutionary war, patriots used handbills printed on hemp to spread the word; today we usse sophisticated DVD duplication software," Franchi was quoted as saying.
When contacted by AFP, he added that he is "following in the footsteps" of Restore the Republic founder, the late Aaron Russo.
AFP interviewed Russo in September 2006 not long before his untimely death. The meeting was during a private screening in Chicago of his noted film America: From Freedom to Fascism.
Many observers feel that, with that film, Russo lit a fire in the sometimes languishing freedom movement.
Franchi told AFP that he sees this latest film as a follow-up to what Russo started in order to perpetuate a series of informative films that Russo would have continued had he survived his illness.
Russo was perhaps best known for his big-screen movies Trading Places, starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd; and The Rose, starring Bette Midler.
To order copies of the new film Don't Tread on Me by mail, send your order to William Lewis, PO Box 3 0576, Columbia, Mo. 65205-0576. The cost is $19.95 plus $.50 for shipping. Each additional CD in the same order cost 50 cents to cover shipping. Make checks and money orders payable to William Lewis. Shipping costs to Canada are $6.50 for the first CD and 60 cents for each additional one per shipment.

American Free Press June 28, 2010 Jailed Tax Honesty Advocate May See Daylight By Mark Anderson Former IRS agent, "tax questioner" and truth and liberty advocate Sherry Peel Jackson could be released from federal prison more than a year early, although many patriots feel she should never been jailed at all.
According to her husband, Colin, of Stone Mountain, Ga., a key ruling during her February 2008 sentencing that normal sentencing guidelines "should" be exceeded could be reversed, if a petition to that effect filed by Mrs. Jackson's attorney is approved.
If it is approved in federal court, the more than 40-month sentence that she received would be nullified and the original sentencing range of 28 months to 33 months would be re-applied.
That would mean an almost immediate release for the certified public accountant and mother of two, who began a crusade against the federal individual income tax, challenging its validity, before she was arrested, tried in Atlanta federal court and imprisoned in Florida.
So what are the chances of her early release?
Colin responded by saying it's up in the air, maybe 50-50. Everyone concerned with this matter should pray for his wife, he added.
"I spoke with her attorney," he said, "He's going to try and submit a petition this week.
The federal government, whose prosecutors had invoked "upward departure" in order to surpass the required sentencing guidelines, is not stepping aside, however.
"The government's position was that since Sherry did not raise this issue [reduced sentence petition] in her appeal, why raise it now?" He feels this shows the government will not argue the case on its merits, to avoid losing the argument, and therefore will stick with technical matters.
Even federal judge Orlinda Evans, who sentenced Mrs. Jackson, openly stated at the time that she wanted to "make an example" of the defendant, evidently because an IRS agent challenging the income tax could be highly influential on society.
Mrs. Jackson, who suffered illness while in prison and endured an unusually long five months in solitary confinement, was inTallahassee's federal correction institution. She was moved there from the Coleman, Fla. Federal pen to be put in solitary.
But as on June 15 Mrs. Jackson was in the Robert A. Deyton Detention Center in Lovejoy, Ga. She was taken there for the June 14 evidentiary hearing she was expecting, as last reported in American Free Press. However, her current attorney, public defender Matthew dodge, advised her that the hearing would be overly time consuming and that the petition to return to the original sentencing guidelines would be a better approach.
Depending on the petition's outcome, she wil either be released or return to Tallahassee. If the petition fails, her scheduled release is in August 2011.

American Free Press June 28, 2010 SPOTLIGHT ON CONGRESS Congress Blames Turkey, Humanitarians For Israel's Commando Raid On Aid Ship AIPAC's puppets on capitol Hill have joined the chorus of those seeking to blame the victims of Israel's assault on humanitarian ships bound for Palestine for the violence that resulted in at least none deaths, including one American citizen.
Overwhelming evidence shows that Isrel was the aggressor in the attack on the peaceful Gaza flotilla. This was proven by recently released video footage that appears to show two Israeli commandos executing a 19-year-old American aboard the Mari Marmara. But that didn't stop several U.S. congressmen from taking to the House floor to attack Turkey for the supposed crime of allowing several ships loaded with wheelchairs, medical supplies, building materials and clothing to leave its ports.
Rep. Anthony Wiener (D-N.Y.) Was first out of the gates to go after the supporters of the flotilla on the House floor on June 9.
"It had an enormous amount of support by some of the worst enemies of peace in that region, and some of the worst enemies, quite literally, not only of Israel, but of the United States as well," said Weiner. "And I mean Turkey, Iran, Hamas. These are not entities that were looking for some peaceful resolution here."
Rep. John Sarbanes (D-Md.) Echoed Wiener's comments, adding: "Some have expressed the view that Israel alone should account for this incident. That perspective neglects the role that Turkey played in staging the flotilla and Turkey's readiness to condone this kind of brinkmanship."
Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.), known on Capitol Hill for some of the more blatant and grotesque groveling to Israel, had this to say: "The complicity of Turkey in launching a flotilla to challenge the blockade in Gaza, the ensuing violence that occurred, the greivous loss of life, is deeply troubling to those of us who have support4ed the U.S.-Turkish alliance in the past. Turkey needs to decide whether its present course is in its long-term interest. America will stand with Israel.
The congressmen were parroting the garbage spewing from Israel's public relations spin machine, which has been repeating the same tired old saw, that the humanitarians - not the heavily armed Israeli soldiers - are to blame for the murders. The latest claim by pro-Israeli groups is that "75 mercenaries" were on board the Mavi Marmara and that they were associated with "al Qaeda and other terror organizations." Never mind that turkey and the peace organization behind the flotilla said the ships were carrying only humanitarian supplies and that Turkish police has inspected the ships for weapons and found nothing. Even Israel, after thoroughly searching the boats and confiscating all cameras, photos and videotapes, could not find any "weapons" except for a few sticks and some deck-chairs.
The only legislator to have the courage to stand up for those on the peaceful boats was Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio).
In an official letter released to the public, Kucinich blasted Israel and Washington for condoning blatant aggression on both the ships and the U.S. ally, Turkey.
"In its violent commando raid on the Mavi Marmara, the government of Israel showed no concern as to how its conduct may affect the lives of defenseless, innocent people, its friends and allies, and in particular the United States," wrote Kucinich. "The United States must remind Israel as well as all of our other friends and allies. It is not acceptable to repeatedly violate international law. It is not acceptable to shoot and kill innocent civilians. It is not acceptable to commit an act of aggression against another U.S. ally. It is not acceptable to continue a blockade that denies humanitarian relief. It is not acceptable to heighten tensions in a region while the United States continues to put so much blood and treasure on the line.

American Free Press June 28, 2010 SPOTLIGHT ON CONGRESS Will Gulf Calamity Lead to Rothschild Financial Takeover? By Victor Thorn Is the non-stop BP "oil volcano" a deliberately engineered act designed to help collapse the global economic system so that a Rothschild-controlled bank can step in and pick up the pieces? Prior to addressing the specifics of such a plot, a few variables need to be provided.
It's now been proven that Goldman Sachs dumped 44 percent of its BP shares in the first quarter of 2010 and that BP CEO Tony Hayward likewise sold one-third of his BP stock prior to the disaster.
Odder still, BP's oil spill began on April 19 and April 20 - the same day as the Waco massacre, the Oklahoma City Murrah Building bombing and the high school mascre at Columbine in Colorado, Coincidence?
Deepwater Horizon's oilrig had tapped into a high pressure subterranean oil vein, with pressure estimated at between 30,000 to 70,000 pounds per square inch, deep within the Earth's strata some 32,000 feet below the surface of the Gulf of Mexico.
A survivor of the explosion on the oil platform - which actually took place on April 20, but had been brewing for at least a day - remarked: "Everyone had an ominous feeling. We were messing with Mother Nature."
Pushing the limits of human technology, every sngle aspect of the drilling process required perfection to avert catastrophe. But can this disaster be explained away as simple incompetence, or is it something more sinister?
Weeks before this calamity, chunks of rubber from a gasket surrounding the drill pipe's blowout preventer had broken loose. BP neglected to have it replaced, so the single most important safety feature had been compromised. Executives at BP were aware of this faulty situation.
Robin Pagnamenta, energy editor for the Times in London, described in a may 26 article how the cement used by Halliburton to plug the wellhead had been contaminated with mud. Even though an adequate seal had not been established, again BP directed operators to begin removing heavy drilling fluid and replace it with lighter seawater.
In a May 27 report, The Wall Street Journal's Miguel Bustillo wrote of a skirmish between Transocean chief mechanic Douglas brown and an unknown BP "company man."
Despite enormous pressure increases beneath the sea, BP's suspected saboteur gave direct orders to remove the heavy drilling mud, which acted as the primary key to maintain safety.
At that Point, the already damaged blowout preventer served as the final failsafe. Because Halliburton's cement plug didn't have the proper time to set, gasses and fluids under tremendous pressure burst upward toward the rig, causing an incredible explosion.
A GRANDIOSE PLAN
Over time, displacing millions of gallons of oil beneath the sea bed will lead to the creation of a massive cavity, possibly causing tectonic plates to contract and shift. If such an event occurs, the result could be earthquakes at a minimum, and a massive tsunami as a worstcase scenario. Such devastation would undoubtedly bankrupt BP and be disastrous to an already fragile U.S. economy.
On June 8, this writer interviewed a former member of the Defense Communications Agency, who requested anonymity. He insisted that a global financial collapse as described above is part of a much larger conspiracy.
"In 1987, Edmund de Rothschild created the World Conservation Bank [later renamed the Global Environment Facility in 1991]. This institution was designed to pick up the pieces after all the major banks collapse."
He provided more details.
"To keep getting loans, countries use land as collateral," he said. "Then, when their banks fail, this Rothschild super-bank will emerge to obtain title for lands all around the world. It's a generational plan for legal ownership of the planet.
His reasoning eventually led to the ultimate goal.
"By constricting credit as global economies deteriorate, companies and countries will be forced into bankruptcy," he said."their worthless paper assets will be manipulated and destroyed in order to gain a country's tangible assets: their land and what's underneath it."
Financial analyst George Hunt first exposed the World Conservation bank over two decades ago. According to him, central bankers can lend money printed out of thin air by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Rothschild historian Andrew Hitchcock added that IMF officials have the authority to issue fiat money under what is known as "special drawing rights."
If a global economic collapse ensues, and these countries default on their loans, the World Conservation Bank will engulf the other banks to seize the world's national parks, natural resources, farmland and forests.
If such an institution can collateralize approximately 30 percent of the globe's prime real estate - and then assumes ownership of it during a time of mass financial collapse - they will effectively control the world.
Since the Rothschild family has advocated for the global warming movement for decades - and the gulf oil spill is the country's worst ecological disaster on record - could the Rothschild family's subsidiary, BP, have orchestrated this cataclysm to push forward their agenda in a monumental fashion?

American Free Press June 28, 2010 Poland Arrests Mossad Agents By Richard Walker Frightened that one of its Mossad hit men could be extradited from Poland to Germany, or sent to Dubai to be put on trial for planning the murder of a Hamas leader, Israel is demanding he be sent back to Israel immediately. So far, European authorities are standing firm on spite of pressure from Israel, the United States and powerful global Jewish groups.
Behind the scenes, Israeli diplomats have put pressure on Germany to drop its demand that Polish authorities hand over a Mossad agent using the name "Uri Brodsky." It appears Brodsky, an Israeli citizen, helped acquire a German passport for a Michael Bodenheimer, who was a member of the 25-person assassination team that murdered Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Mabbouh in a Dubai hotel on Jan. 19, 2010,
According to German federal authorities, even though Brodsky was not on the killing team in Dubai, he was a central player in a Mossad squad that planned the assassination from Europe. The Germans have evidence he went with Bodenheimer to a passport office in Cologne a year before the killing and helped him fraudulently acquire a German passport.
Since January 2010, Interpol has worked tirelessly with intelligence agencies from Australia, Ireland, Britain, France and Germany to track down the Mossad assassins. For reasons not yet clear, Brodsky -and that may not be his real name - tried to enter Poland through Warsaw's international airport several weeks ago, using an Israeli passport. Little did he know Interpol was already on his trail, having been supplied with photos of him and other personal details by the BND, Germany's foreign intelligence agency.
His arrest has generated panic in tel Aviv, and ever since there has been mounting pressure from the Israeli government on Washington to intervene with Poland and Germany to have Brodisky sent home.
In the meantime, the police chief in Dubai, who has led a thorough investigation of the assassination and who is setting on compelling DNA and fingerprint evidence that could identify the killers, is considering seeking the Mossad agent's extradition. He told reporters if the Germans could demonstrate Brodsky was a player in the logistical planning leading to the assassination he should be tried in Dubai.
According to high-level diplomatic sources in Europe, this extradition could just be the beginning of a spate of others as Interpol follows credible leads. British intelligence is reported to be pursuing tip-offs in its search for a scot who was part of the killing team. Interpol is convinced many of the Assassins were unable to make it back to Israel and some may even be hiding out in the United States.
There is also growing anger in European capitals at the FBI's failure to respond to information supplied by Interpol and place in Dubai. In particular, Dubai police chief Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim has wondered why the FBI has not thoroughly investigated how the assassins were able to acquire and use prepaid MasterCard issued by a New York-based company, Payoneer Inc, with offices in Tel Aviv.
The company was founded in 2005 by Yuval Tal, a former Israeli special forces commando used by Fox News as an expert during Israel's war with Hezbollah in Lebanon in 2006.
The way Payoneer works is that it is a middleman, issuing prepaid credit cards backed by its partner, Metabank, which has offices In Iowa. The latter says no suspicious glags were raised about cards later used by the Cubai assassins. Prepaid card are njot deemed currency under U.S. Law and are therefore poorly regulated. For example, Payoneer is not required by law to list suspicious activity reports with the Treasury Department or to be a member of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
After the assassination, Interpol and the Dubai police expected the FBI to use its statutory powers to examine all Payoneer and Metabank transactions, but that does not appear to have happened.
Meanwhile, it would be hard for Washington to publicly oppose the extradition of Brodsky from one NATO nation to another or even to the United Arab Emirates, which has supported Washington's Iran policy. Washington has supported the extradition of historians and scholars who have been prosecuted for thought crimes such as questioning the "Holocaust" of World War II.
