Free Trade Farce

The Great Minds assure us they are always hard at work trying
to figure out ways to escape from the mess that is the American
economy today.
The U.S. is currently running a deficit of $4 billion a day
(Total: $14 trillion plus) as a tsunami of foreign manufacturers
and products— even including food—pours into the American
market via fleets of heavily laden freighters.
Accordingly, the national debt piles up and the Great Minds
either wonder how America will handle approaching national bankruptcy
or ignore altogether this extremely important event.
Meanwhile, banksters and greedy American corporations gleefully
behold their empty and decaying factories and starving workers
and their families after noting their huge profits from buying
overseas cheaply and selling these products dearly to the American
consumer.
However, these parasites do not forget to make a contribution—call
it an investment—to various nonprofit institutions that
promote the evil delusion of so-called free trade.
These institutions are peopled by a class that is in a position
to reward themselves handsomely with huge salaries and expense
allowances. An observer could even say that these gentry are
involved in shameless fraud. They call themselves "libertarians"
and profess a doctrine that unprejudiced observers see as a religion,
for that is exactly what it is.
Libertarians see themselves as fighters against the undoubted
evils of big government. They love freedom so much, they say,
that they would eliminate all national boundaries and install
their devilish doctrine of free trade universally. Thus, if a
worker in one country—say, the U.S.A.—loses his job
making widgets because of foreign imports, he could move to another
country—say, China—and get a job there making the same
widgets he made in America. Of course, he would be paid a tenth
of what he was paid back home.
That, in a nuttyshell, is the libertarian doctrine of free
trade.

Texas Gov. Perry Bilderberg's Ace in the Hole?

Is Texas Gov.
Rick Perry the Bilderberg group's Republican candidate-in-waiting
in the 2012 presidential race? The shadowy globalist group is
scheduled to meet secretly behind locked doors over the weekend
of June 9-12 in St. Moritz, Switzerland, and AFP will be on location
to cover it.
It is not without precedent to tap state governors for broader
vistas. Bill Clinton at one time was the obscure governor of
Arkansas—a land with strong Rockefeller influence since
the days of Gov. Winthrop Rockefeller. As governor, Clinton attended
his first Bilderberg meeting in 1991 and was elected president
about a year later.
Like Clinton, Perry has attended a Bilderberg meeting. In
June 2007 Perry attended the Bilderberg confab in Istanbul, Turkey,
making the mandatory promise of secrecy and to follow orders.
At the time, Perry was chastised in the newly aroused independent
press.
Speculation that Perry is the Bilderberg group's ace card
was prompted by the current political climate, which can largely
be gleaned from the fact that Perry is a longtime, unwavering
supporter of the NAFTA Superhighway and related infrastructure
projects. These pave the way for the Bilderberg-supported North
American Union (NAU) proposal that would merge the U.S., Canada
and Mexico.
The word is that Bilderberg is concerned about the boring
field of Republican presidential candidates. One of the current
GOP candidates, former Georgia Rep. Newt Gingrich, once told
AFP, eyeball to eyeball, that he never had participated and never
would participate in Bilderberg or Trilateral Commission meetings,
although Gingrich is still a fervent globalist, nonetheless.
President Obama, as AFP has reported, is a tool of Bilderberg.
He had been sought out at the 2008 Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly,
Va., just before winning the 2008 Democratic nomination. While
receiving his instructions from Bilderberg, the dutiful Obama
appeared to be bobbing for apples.
But just owning the Democratic nominee won't do, as Bilderberg
likes to own both horses in a two horse race for the White House.
Bilderberg's GOP favorite, such as he is, is starchy Mitt
Romney, but the former Massachusetts governor keeps tripping
over his mouth trying to explain his health reform positions.
As governor, he imposed the kind of topdown mandatory healthcare
reform that Bilderberg likes. As a presidential candidate, Romney
is suddenly trying to explain how he opposes it. So, he is unlikely
to be nominated. The rest of the field is also weak, but any
nominee could be elected if the country remains in recession—something
Bilderberg has engineered.
So enter Perry to "save the day" for internationalism.
In 2007, when confronted by the local press on his return
from Turkey, Perry insisted that the Bilderberg boys do good
work and Americans should be grateful.
But Perry appeared confused when asked about the Logan Act,
which outlaws meetings of government officials with private citizens
to make public policy unless they are held in public, not behind
locked and guarded doors as is the case at the annual Bilderberg
meetings.
Foes of the Logan Act argue that it passed in 1789, so it's
"out of date." To this, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) responds
that unless it's repealed, it remains the law. And it has been
amended and strengthened over the years, including in the 20th
century.
Paul has called for a criminal investigation into Perry's
Bilderberg trip. "This information about him going over
there and violating the Logan Act and getting involved . . .
I'm just impressed that that's in the ordinary media—I think
that's encouraging, too," he said on a talk radio show,
adding that Perry's attendance was "a sign that he's involved
in the international conspiracy."
Perry has repeatedly denied that he is running for president,
but several campaigns have been put forth to draft the three
term Texas governor. In addition, Perry keeps pushing himself
as a Bilderberg wild card. At Republican events, he has described
the type of nominee the GOP needs (like himself) without naming
himself.
The Bilderberg backed NAU that he supports would erase the
boundaries between Mexico, the United States and Canada. The
plan is to expand the "union" throughout the Western
Hemisphere, resulting in an "American Union," similar
to the European Union that is draining Europe dry of its former
prosperity, with Switzerland— the location of the 2011 Bilderberg
meeting—faring better because it's neither an EU nor a NATO
member.
His support of the Trans Texas Corridor within the state's
boundaries has been unflinching, since that is Texas's part of
the greater NAFTA Superhighway network to connect the NAU nations
physically.
Bilderberg, true to form, wants the U.S. recession to continue
throughout 2012 and for oil prices to remain high and increase
further. This could make Obama a one-term president. But at this
point it appears Bilderberg's "other horse" is headed
for the stable, to be groomed as their ace in the hole.

Perry Denies He'll Be At Bilderberg 2011

AFP contacted Texas Gov. Rick Perry's office, asking whether
Perry will attend what would be his second bilderberg meeting
in less than five years. Perry attended, by his own admission,
the 2007 Bilderberg meeting in Istanbul, Turkey.
The next Bilderberg confab is in St. Moritz, Switzerland June
9-12. A public affairs spokesman for the governor told AFP May
24,"He is not scheduled to go to the conference."
AFP's Jim Tucker, who has been monitoring officials attending
Bilderberg meetings for more than 25 years, maintains that U.S.
state and federal officials planning to attend a Bilderberg meeting
will either keep their plans off their travel schedules until
the last minute so a staffer does not slip and release the information
- or it might be perceived, as may be the case with Perry, that
attending this secretive, exclusive annual meeting of bankers,
corporate titans, media moguls, royalty and various world leaders
might be too politically risky.
"We're very into our own sovereignty in Texas,"
Perry claimed, when confronted by freelance video-journalists
who wanted Perry's view of a proposed North American Union, and
sought information on his admitted connections with the Bilderberg
group.
"There was no conspiracy going on there that I saw,"
Perry said on the YouTube posted video, referring to the Bilderberg
meeting he attended in Turkey. He added: "All I did was
get in a fight with a lady about global warming. She thought
it was here, and I said, ‘Sorry, the globe may be warming
but it's not our fault.'" that video, shot indoors amonst
onlookers at a social gathering, was filmed by We Are Change/San
Antonio, Texas.
But another video interview, this time outdoors filmed by
that same group, announced to Perry that attending Bilderberg
meetings runs against the Logan Act, a federal law. Perry, who
remained largely silent as activists followed him, was given
ample time to comment but did no respond.

Was Arrest of Top IMF Bankster Part of Planned Sting
Operation?

Could the high-profile arrest of International Monetary Fund
director Dominique Strauss Kahn (DSK)
on sexual assault charges in New York City be part of a struggle
between banking cartels at the highest levels?
To contextualize this affair, many theorists depict the New
World Order in vague, monolithic terms. However, the elites are
sometimes prone to power struggles between various factions that
are constantly vying for a larger slice of the pie. So, rather
than being totally infallible and monolithic, these conflicting
camps may not be above "eating their own" when circumstances
provide no other option.
On May 15, DSK may have become the latest casualty in this
game of financial hardball, possibly targeted by rivals that
have trillions to lose.
DSK may well have raped the 32-year-old Guinean woman who
leveled an array of accusations against him. Other women have
also emerged with allegations that DSK forced them into performing
sexual acts against their will.
Or could the woman in question be a siren, who was used to
capitalize on DSK's reputation as a lecherous philanderer?
Curiously, one of French President Nicolas Sarkozy's supporters,
Jonathan Pinet, tweeted news of the arrest before the New York
Police Department even announced it. DSK intended to run against—and
polls show he probably would have defeated— the increasingly
unpopular Sarkozy in next year's election.
Stranger yet, two weeks prior to this incident at New York
City's $3,000 per night Sofitel Hotel, DSK, as reported in London's
Telegraph, predicted in an April 28 interview with Liberation
magazine that his obsession with women might be a vulnerable
spot for his opponents to exploit.
The Telegraph noted, "Conspiracy theories abounded in
France . . . following the publication of a curiously premonitory
interview in Liberation newspaper. In the then off-the-record
discussion . . . the IMF chief said he could imagine a scenario
where he was framed for a rape he did not commit."
Did Sarkozy conspire with forces interested in matters far
beyond mere national politics? DSK—mirroring the aims of
billionaire globetrotter George Soros— sought to replace
the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency with a de facto
IMFUN financial tool commonly known as special drawing rights
(SDRs).
To show his resolve, DSK pulled the trigger on Feb. 10 via
an IMF report that specifically mentioned the introduction of
this supranational one-world currency that challenged the dollar's
dominance. CNN's website reported the matter, as did other sources.
Back in January, DSK appeared on BBC Radio to speak of his
plans for a global central bank. He boasted, "Never in the
past has an institution like the IMF been as necessary as it
has been today. . . . Now is the time to do it, and I think we're
ready to do it."
On April 9, as reported by AFP, Soros hoped for the emergence
of a new monetary model at New Hampshire's Bretton Woods II conference.
Essentially, DSK planned on burying not only the dollar, but
also the euro, replacing them with a new basket of currencies
that included China's renminbi.
Did DSK place himself at the center of a global currency war?
Possibly, for the UN is already releasing coins called "unos,"
while the IMF's SDR bonds would compete directly with U.S. treasuries.
DSK also suggested what would be a mortal deathblow to America—pricing
oil in SDRs rather than dollars. Of course, since virtually every
nation in the world must stockpile U.S. currency to buy oil,
our nation's spending is effectively subsidized on a global scale.
If this system was derailed, the U.S. could no longer keep spending
beyond its means (i.e., a $14 trillion plus debt). Undoubtedly,
most citizens' standard of living would dramatically plummet.
America's survival is at stake, for if the dollar tanks, the
U.S. will crumble. China, ready to exploit such an economic crisis,
seeks to use its political capital in order to attain greater
clout on the international stage. In 2009, Zhou Xiaochuan, governor
of China's central bank, approved of IMF plans to replace the
dollar with SDRs.
The EU also faced dangers in that DSK harbors a close friendship
with Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou. In this capacity,
DSK facilitated the disastrous bailouts that are undermining
the EU's survival. Further, if DSK defeated Sarkozy in next year's
election, international bankers would have an inexorable grip
on France's political hierarchy.
DSK, in league with Soros's European Central Bankers (ECB),
has failed miserably in managing IMF bailouts. His downfall,
therefore, is immensely advantageous to those who benefit from
a currency system dominated by the dollar.
One of these men, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, went
on the offensive by characterizing DSK as "obviously not
in a position to run the IMF." Then, within hours, John
Lipsky, former vice chairman and chief economist at JPMorgan
Investment Bank, filled DSK's seat as IMF director. Notably,
Lipsky—a Council on Foreign Relations member—is prodollar
and pro-euro while less supportive of SDRs.
Overall, DSK's political demise means that his stranglehold
over the IMF has been weakened and the other financial officials
noted here can advance their agendas, all the while greatly enhancing
Sarkozy's odds of reelection in 2012.

President Humiliated by Netanyahu; AFP Corrects Bibi's
Biggest Whoppers

The president of the United States was recently humiliated
in the White House—a symbol of American sovereignty—by
Israel's prime minister for 10
minutes on national and international TV. Benjamin Netanyahu
chewed Obama out in the Oval Office, while "the most powerful
man on Earth" cowered and dared not defend the honor and
dignity of his office.
Obama, it seemed, could barely hold back the tears while the
foreign leader who many define as a global bully lectured Obama
about "the facts on the ground."
But if Obama had the courage of any soldier who risks his
or her life daily in "AfPak" and Iraq, he would have
told Netanyahu to stop insulting the American people.
Obama should have used that 10 minutes—while the world
watched—to prove that each of Netanyahu's "facts"
is a big fat lie.
Big Lie No. 1: "Israel can't go back to 1967 borders."
Peace Envoy George Mitchell once resigned in disgust over the
final straw of Netanyahu's reneging of 1967 borders, when his
predecessors—including prime ministers Ehud Barak and Ehud
Olmert—proposed and committed to the 1967 borders "as
the basis of peace negotiations."
Big Lie No. 2: "Conditions on the ground have changed."
Imagine if hordes of illegal aliens from all over the world crossed
over our borders, murdered Americans who had developed the land
for generations, bulldozed or dynamited the homes of Americans,
stole their lands, illegally occupied their properties and forced
the homeless Americans to pass through checkpoints in order to
travel within America. Imagine such a brutal police state denying
you all the rights you once took for granted, refusing you all
respect and dignity due you as a human being, much less mercy,
in what was once your homeland.
In 1948 there were "officially" only 2,810 Jews
who were illegal aliens in Palestine. After half of the land
was partitioned, illegal immigrants, in what was left of Palestine,
were practically zero. After the 1967 war the takeover of the
remaining Palestinian lands began slowly. By 1972 there were
10,608 illegal aliens. They increased 10-fold by 1983 to 106,595;
by 1993 they doubled to 281,800. They doubled again by 2004 to
441,165. In three years they increased to 484,862 by 2007. In
less than two years, 2009, the flood rose to 516,569 gun-toting
illegal aliens. Yes, conditions on the ground have changed—and
they must not remain that way.
Big Lie No. 3: "The Palestinians deserve whatever they
get. They started the war in 1967." The Palestinians were
victims of that war—refugees driven out of their homes,
with more than 300,000 exiled who never returned. Houses were
destroyed, "not in battle, but as punishment . . . in order
to chase away the inhabitants. . . ." wrote Gen. Moshe Dayan
in his memoirs. Many were forced out by the Israeli troops in
panic and fear. There is evidence of Israeli soldiers going around
with loudspeakers ordering West Bankers to leave their homes
and cross the Jordan River.
The media constantly regurgitate the Big Lie that "Arabs
attacked Israel," but Israel's leaders admit they started
the war in 1967—and they are proud of it. At dawn, on June
5, 1967, Israel launched a Pearl Harbor-like sneak attack against
the air forces of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. Their
air defenses lay in smoking ruins, never getting off the ground.
By noon, Israel had essentially won the -Six Day War—in
six hours. Inevitably, the fact that so many hundreds of Arab
planes were trapped in their parking areas was evidence that
Israel struck the first blow.
Menachem Begin admitted: "In June 1967, we had a choice.
. . . We decided to attack," as recorded by author Noam
Chomsky in The Fateful Triangle.
"There was ‘no threat of destruction [of Israel]',"
the Israel's ex-defense minister, Moshe Dayan, who gave the order
to attack Syria to seize the Golan Heights, boasted that many
of the fire-fights with the Syrians were deliberately provoked
by Israel, and the "greedy" kibbutz residents were
less concerned for security than with grabbing the land (The
New York Times, May 11, 1997).
Big Lie No. 4: "It was only a miracle that gave us a
marvelous victory." That is baloney. Actually, the war was
premeditated, for at least two years, with precise plans between
the Israeli high command and the 303 Committee, directly out
of LBJ's White House, under Operation Frontlet 615, involving
a "live-bait," "false-flag" plot to sink
an American ship—with the death of all hands on board—blaming
this shameful war crime on the Egyptians.
"Every person in that room knew . . . that it was an
American ship and that it was the USS Liberty. . . . But General
Dayan ordered the attack anyway. We Israelis were guilty of an
outrage." (Maj. Seth Mintz, AMERICAN FREE PRESS, Aug. 4,
2003)
The real blessing from God, the miracle of the Six Day War,
was that the USS Liberty did not sink in spite of being hit with
Israeli rockets, napalm and torpedoes— and gunboats machine-gunning
life rafts—aided by treachery in the highest places.
That is only a summary of some of the Big Lies. Instead of
demanding an apology, Obama groveled. Given Obama's cowardice
and that of Congress to face the truth and right the many wrongs,
we all need to proclaim, "Remember the Liberty!"

KUCINICH: We All Must Say 'No' to Perpetual War

The House [as AFP went to press] was expected to vote soon
on a bill that hands the president Congress's Constitutional
authority to declare and authorize war, substantially altering
the delicate balance of powers that or founders envisioned.
The annual reauthorization of the Department of Defense contains
unprecedented and dangerous language that gives the president
virtually unchecked power to take the country to war and keep
us there. This bill significantly undermines Congress, setting
the U.S. on a permanent warpath.
The fiscal year 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)
declares that the United States is in armed conflict with not
only al Qaeda and the Taliban, but "associated forces"
and individuals, organizations and nations that support such
forces. The president could then have the full legal authority
to send American troops to engage in acts of war anywhere- Yemen,
Iran, even within the United States - without any constitutionally
required congressional authorization and, consequently, without
any restrictions or oversight from the American people or Congress.
This bill would also make permanent that insult against law
and human rights known as Guantanamo. It imposes bans on the
transfer of any detainee held at Guantanamo, including those
who have been cleared of charges. Thus, the U.S. would be forced
to keep imprisoning those who are known to be innocent or are
not a threat. This bill no only allows imprisoning the innocent;
it could mandate it.
This bill also prevents the use of Article III federal courts
for most terrorism suspects' trials. This circumvents the judicial
system and our Constitutional protections, showing a lack of
faith in U.S. law enforcement and courts which are the constitutional
venues for stopping terrorism. Our federal courts have a long
history of trying terrorist suspects, while military courts are
untested, lacking in legitimacy and of questionable effectiveness.
Since 9-11, federal courts have prosecuted over 400 terrorism-related
cases, while military courts have convicted only six.
These wars have cost the lives of thousands of our soldiers,
and perhaps a million civilian lives, with long-term costs approaching
5$ trillion. Yet, in light of the attempt to try to make permanent
an authorization for war, it's as if these wars and their consequences
never occurred.
It's as if our "humanitarian" military intervention
in Libya, which has helped create full-blown civil war - and
ensnared us in yet another military stalemate - never happened.
It's as if the Constitution, which requires Congress to authorize
when and where we go to war, and which guarantees the accused
a right to a fair and speedy trial, was never written.
Congress must protect the American people from the treacherous
overreach of any chief executive who is enamored with unchecked
power. Permanent, global war will not increase or national security.
Far from ridding the world of terrorism, it will become a terrorist
recruitment program.

Netanyahu Works His Black Magic

Israeli Prime Minister benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu
spoke for nearly 50 minutes to a joint meeting of Congress on
May 24. It was the second time in 15 years that he has addressed
U.S. Congressmen and senators. This time, American legislators
really outdid themselves, giving 26 standing ovations to the
Israeli leader.
Netanyahu began by congratulating President Obama for allegedly
murdering the one and only Osama bin Laden: "Good riddance,"
he said.
At one point, a protester in the audience shouted and interrupted
Netanyahu's speech, but everyone in attendance quickly rose and
cheered to drown her out.
Netanyahu claimed Israel is a real democracy because it has
freedom of speech. However, it is illegal in Israel to question
the conventional story surrounding the holocaust of World War
II. He did not mention that.
The only Arabs in the Middle East who are truly free, he insisted
are all citizens of Israel. He did not discuss why they are having
their homes stolen or bulldozed, and their ancient olive groves
destroyed by their "fellow" Israelis.
To cheers and applause, Netanyahu denounced Hamas, the democratically
elected government in Gaza, as the Palestinian version of the
al Qaeda network that bin Laden was said to have led, and Bibi
insisted that the head of Fatah in the West Bank, Mahmoud Abbas,
must tear up his pact with Hamas in order to make peace with
Israel. Once again, Netanyahu mesmerized Congress.

Avalanche of Job Loss Projected for Summer

Despite the government's emphasis on some positive indicators
- numbers mostly appreciated by investors on Wall Street - the
nation's economy is not experiencing an upturn and, by summer's
end may get much worse. Regardless of how this matter is spun,
an essential component needed for a true rebound remains woefully
lacking: rising employment.
This situation will undoubtedly worsen in June with the end
of stimulus payments to states. Experts expect an avalanche of
layoffs wherein current workers are dismissed so that retirees
can continue receiving prenegotiated benefits. Or if job cuts
aren't used to balance state and local budgets, huge tax increases
are expected.
Although the Obama administration claimed that it wanted to
jumpstart job creation through its stimulus package, in reality
the administration delayed the pain through various injections
of money into the economy.
If a number of current bills are passed by both houses of
Congress, whatever ground was gained may soon be lost, placing
many Americans in further financial jeopardy and frightening
of others who, having felt confident enough in their job status
to contribute to a recent spurt of big-ticket spending, may pull
the plug on further purchases, feeling threatened by the prospect
of job loss.
The manager of a Southeastern corporation dependent on state
and federal contracts personifies this apprehension. He spoke
to AFP on condition of anonymity.
"In the past, we'd geta state Department of Transportation
[DOT] project and our company would want for months of work done
in two because the money had to be spent by Dec. 1. But recently
we got another project from the state DOT, and they said it had
to be done by the end of August."
When questioned as to the reason, "The stimulus money's
going away."
The August 2011 deadline, dictated by the end of the government's
fiscal year, has him wondering if it will mark his own occupational
doomsday: "Now that state money has dried up, they laid
off seven people three weeks ago and significantly cut our benefits."
Since it impacts national security disbursements, austerity
fever couldn't come at a more inopportune time for local governments.
Imminent budget cuts will substantially decrease Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) anti-terrorism money. Half the cities
receiving such money in 2010 will be dropped leaving only 31
cities - including, of course, the District of Columbia - eligible
for continued DHS funding. The allotted money, which was nearly
$900 million in 2010, will be reduced to $660 million.
These cuts come when state and local governments, feeling
the fiscal pinch, are either downsizing or doing away with several
services including law enforcement. Many cities and counties
are nearly halving their police forces, hoping to make up for
the reduction in manpower with a marked increase in surveillance
cameras.
School districts, too, are being negatively impacted with
many programs, services and support positions being eliminated.
Getting into the austerity act as well is the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA), which wants back $22 million it alleges
was erroneously paid out. FEMA notified nearly 6,000 families
victimized by 129 disasters - most of which were tornado or flood
related - that the aid they received has to be repaid.
In a continuing saga that never ends, victims of the 2005
Katrina and Wwilma hurricanes have been notified by FEMA that
the approximately $643 million it doled out to over 160,000 households
had to be returned since an agency review determined these payments
were allegedly erroneous. And FEMA is just starting to deal with
Mississippi River flood victims in mid-2011 in Illinois, Missouri
and other states.
The number of people who may be asked to return funds is expected
to increase. FEMA - accused of wide-spread corruption in the
allotment of funds - admits that even though the erroneous payments
were largely it fault, it has a "duty to safeguard taxpayer
dollars." But FEMA's money-recovery process could cost the
agency more than it will recover because of the financial insolvency
of those targeted.
There is no indication that Israel will be asked to return
any of the more than $3 billion it has received from the United
States in the last fiscal year.

Time Now for New Mideast Policy

When Stephen Walt, coauthor of
the 2007blockbuster book, The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign
Policy, told a standing-room-only crowd at the May 21 "Move
Over AIPAC" conference that Barack Obama would be addressing
the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in Washington
the following day, those in attendance erupted in chorus of boos.
Medea Benjamin of Code Pink, who helped coordinate this event,
echoed this sentiment in her opening remarks. She didn't hide
her suspicious of president's call for an Israeli return to its
1967 borders:
"Barack Obama gave us some nice words, like he previously
did in Cairo, but they don't mean anything. Palestinians are
tired of nice words and want to see real action," Mrs Benjamin
said.
She continued: "AIPAC doesn't represent our moral values.
They use $3 billion a year in foreign aid to commit human rights
abuses. According to AIPAC, it's fine for Israel to bomb and
kill people in the name of national defense. To them, the lives
of Israelis are more important than the lives of Palestinians."
Her words were the exact opposite of statements made by staunch
Zionist historical heavyweights such as Golda Meir and David
Ben-Gurion, both of them believe "there is no such thing
as a Palestinian."
Dalit Baum, founder of Who Profits from the Occupation, conveyed
a different perspective. "AIPAC isn't a lobby for people
living in Israel. It's a lobby for the U.S. military-industrial
complex that does the Israeli government's dirty work."
One of the great longtime champions fighting against Zionist
atrocities, Alison Weir, told this writer, "People used
to deny that an Israeli lobby even existed, or the influence
they wield. This conference is a real breakthrough to expose
AIPAC's power in this country."
However, Ms. Weir expressed a real distrust of the so-called
two-state solution, saying it could be a ruse.
Specifically, if Israel retains 95 percent of the land it
already holds, at a bare minimum, politicians and the Jewish-run
media will declare the matter resolved and conclude that Palestinians
got what they always wanted. In this context, the two-state solution
is a cleverly constructed trap to bury this matter.
Walt's writing partner, John Mearsheimer, also depicted Obama
as an ineffective leader who remained silent on the 2009 Gaza
War, UN occupation votes and the Goldstone Report on Israeli
crimes against humanity. Mearsheimer explained that the U.S.-Israeli
"special relationship" is unparalleled in recorded
history, creating a Greater Israel that is the equivalent of
an apartheid state.
Although Mearsheimer was correct in stating that Obama has
no leverage over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Natanyahu -
who essentially beats him down on every visit to Washington -
he also perpetrated a troublesome amount of propaganda. In particular,
Mearsheimer referred to Osama bin Laden as the actual mastermind
of 9-11, in addition t claiming that Marxist agitator Saul Alinsky
was one of his "heroes."
On a more touching note, noted activist Anna Baltzer spoke
of Palestinians who still hold the keys to homes from which they
have been forcibly evicted by Israeli wrecking crews, oftentimes
passing these keys along to their next generation of children.
To reiterate AIPAC's influence, one of the speakers quoted
former Sen. Fritz Hollings (D-S.C.), who infamously declared,
"You can't have an Israeli policy other than what AIPAC
tells you."
Yet, despite Israel's continued expansionism and "Bibi"
Netanyahu's strong-arm tactics - shown once again in his just-completed
White House meeting with Obama - Rebecca Vilkomerson of Jewish
Votes for Peace provided hope, telling AFP, "We're here
to show AIPAC that they don't have a lock on U.S. policy in the
Middle East. We represent an alternative - one that recoginizes
the equal rights of Palestinians."

Key Participant Details AIPAC's Longtime Deception

Is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) an
agent of a foreign government? Ample evidence shows it to be
just that, says Grant F. Smith, director of research for the
Institute for Research: Middle eastern Policy, a Washington,
D.C. - based nonprofit organization that studies U.S. Middle
East policy formulation.
Smith, a major participant at the Move Over AIPAC conference,
was there to educate participants on how AIPAC has evaded and
skirted the U.S. government's many attempts to have "the
lobby," as it's called, registered as a foreign agent in
accordance with the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
An accomplished researcher, educator and author, Smith has
written the definitive account on AIPAC's beginnings and its
battles with the U.S. department of Justice (DOJ) to avoid registering
as an agent of a foreign government. He used his book America's
Defense Line during his presentation to conference attendees.
Considered by all to be the most powerful lobby in Washington,
AIPAC's modern beginnings can be traced to the1948 presidential
election, where President Harry S. Truman made a Faustian bargain
with wealthy U.S. Zionists to recognize the newly formed state
of Israel in exchange for campaign contributions.
Smith shows that funds poured into the campaign by wealthy
Jews "averted Truman's almost certain defeat." But
Truman's bargain had severe consequences. According to Smith,
"it consummated a prerogative of secretive and growing ‘one-on-one'
relations between the Israel lobby and U.S. presidential administrations."
Almost immediately after FARA became law, wealthy U.S. Zionists
conspired with influential politicians to thwart all attempts
to force AIPAC to register.
Sadly, Smith said, "by the 1990s, FARA enforcement was
clearly dying a slow death."
Today, Smith shows, "upper levels of the DOJ continue
to be a bastion of Israel lobby leniency." Due to past battles
between the DOJ and U.S.-based Jewish agents of Israel, Smith
concludes, "the DOJ has subsequently been reticent to prosecute
the AIPAC lobby."
To illustrate this point, Smith used the 2005 AIPAC espionage
scandal as a fitting example. "Few in Congress were interested
in investigating the ongoing flow of tax-exempt funds from the
U.S. to Jewish Agency and World Zionist Organization operations,
even when it was discovered that $50 billion had been laundered
into financing illegal West Bank settlements."

‘Code Pink' Takes On World's Most Powerful Lobby

More than 300 people showed up in front of the D.C. Convention
Center on May 22 to demonstrate against AIPAC and Israel's brutal
treatment of Palestinians. The date was selected because President
Obama was scheduled to address the all-powerful lobby that dictates
foreign policy in Washington and decides who gets elected.
Obama was symbolically made to show up on a Sunday morning
(a Christian religious day) and arrived around 10:30 a.m. in
the midst of a motorcade comprised of limousines and Secret Service
agents. Inside, 10,000 AIPAC supporters eagerly awaited his speech.
Although a number of media venues have made a gig deal about
his May 19 comments in the news regarding an Israeli return to
its 1967 borders and resuming peace talks with the Palestinians,
most people in the know realized that it likely meant nothing
since the Israelis have already approved another 1,500 settler
homes. Obama, of course, proceeded to explain how Israel is our
best friend and ally and how their security and well-being should
be our No.1 priority. Surely the mandatory $3 billion in foreign
aid will, as usual and without delay, be given to Israel from
the coffers of our bankrupted nation.
The demonstration itself, organized by Move Over AIPAC - for
which the activist group Code Pink was a key player - was a big
success.
A 10-foot-high, 30-foot-long replica of the concrete barricade
wall at Gaza was constructed complete with graffiti and a banner
demanding. "Mr Netanyahu, take down this wall," which
was symbolically done at one point in time, revealing an image
of a peaceful fantasy for the Palestinians on the other side.
Models of Israel's illegal settlements were constructed outof
cardboard, while towering figures of Obama and Netanyahu demanded,
"Show me the money."
Actors portrayed Palestinian corpses while others played oppressed
Gazans at checkpoints, tied, handcuffed and abused by armed Israeli
soldiers. There was also a strong showing of more than 20 anti-Zionist
rabbis from Neturei Karta protesters who chanted as they held
signs. Speakers talked throughout the day.
Toward late afternoon as AIPAC's attendees began emerging
from their conference, the atmosphere became noticeably charged
as many of them took issue with the protesters' message. Encouraged
by Medea Benjamin, Code Pink's organizer, to approach the microphone
and voice their opinions, many of them did just that. A debate
ensued between pro-AIPACC attendees and the protesters, mediated
by Mrs. Benjamin.
Although many of the AIPAC attendees genuinely felt like they
were in the right, their hollow arguments involved convoluted
mental gymnastics supported only by emotional hype. In essence,
they felt that the Jews were entitled to the Palestinians' land
because they still believe, contrary to the scientific evidence,
that Adolf Hitler gassed 6 million Jews during World War II.*
Also, they argued that since Palestinians didn't accept the
UN's 1967 two-state proposal giving Jews the lion's share of
land in that area. Israel was now justified in taking it all.

Bilderberg Meets In Secret

here in the Engadine Valley, just miles from the highest summit
in the Eastern Alps, where this year's secretive Bilderberg meeting
is taking place. The 2011 venue for the yearly billionaire globalist
confab is the posh Suvretta House, one of three possible resort
hotels reported on in previous issues of AFP. Swiss police and
private security personnel are already out in force in this usually
sleepy Swiss resort.
Motorcades of vans with tinted windows have been seen in the
area as well, headed for the conference site. As I write this,
the elusive and exclusive Bilderbergers—the richest movers
and shakers on the planet—are poised to meet June 9-11 to
decide how they will advance their secret internationalist agenda.
Some Swiss and German newspapers are already reporting on the
impending meeting, a stark contrast to the nearly complete media
blackout in the U.S. My colleague Mark Anderson and I have already
been approached for interviews by three European news outlets,
eager for truth about the goings-on.

social justice group "We Are Change," are also arriving

Bilderberg Expected to Push More War at 2011 Confab

ST. MORITZ, Switzerland—As Bilderberg luminaries began
gathering in this quaint, posh resort community, they were hopeful
of pushing their agenda but wary that public exposure would continue
to stifle their efforts.
Even before departing for St. Moritz, luminaries were reportedly
grumpy, according to a source within Bilderberg who has been
proven correct in reports for more than two decades. "It
gets tougher to accomplish anything every year," Henry Kissinger
was heard saying. "In fact, what have we accomplished in
recent years?"
Bilderberg "has to find another way of meeting,"
said current Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, a former top
official at the New York Federal Reserve bank, the most powerful
of the Fed's 12 branches.
International financiers expect outgoing U.S. Defense Secretary
Robert Gates to continue globalist advances by maintaining a
huge military deployment throughout the world and to defy the
U.S. Constitution by not having Congress endorse America's endless
wars. Breaking this law is a position dictated by Bilderberg
leaders who want the United States to continue sending troops
throughout the world to do their bloody bidding.
But some news is bad for the Bilderberg boys on several fronts
as public awareness, especially in Europe, continues to hamstring
their efforts. Referring to the financial crises in Greece, Spain
and Portugal, Peter Oborne wrote in The Irish Times of Dublin:
"Mercifully, we did not sign up to the single currency,
and are therefore completely independent of the common economic
government imposed upon eurozone countries by the European Central
Bank."
Polls show that most
Brits oppose surrendering national sovereignty to the European
Union, although most of the Bilderberg-controlled leaders want
to join. Greece's European Union commissioner, Maria Damanaki,
warned May 25 that the debt crisis threatens its use of the euro:
"Either we agree with our borrowers on a program of tough
sacrifice . . . or we return to the drachma [the former Greek
national currency]."
Her comments came as Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou
tried to persuade countrymen to accept EU-demanded cutbacks on
social spending. Expanding the European Union into a continental
superstate is a major goal of Bilderberg, but several countries
are considering opting out and rejecting the euro.
Notably, nuclear power promotion is big with Bilderberg because
it generates huge profits for these sons and grandsons of smokestack
industries that comprise part of Bilderberg. Interestingly, bad
news for Bilderberg may come from this year's host country, Switzerland.
The Swiss Cabinet has called for the elimination of the country's
five nuclear power reactors and for new energy sources to replace
them. But this must be approved by parliament. German officials
have also announced that they are moving away from nuclear power.

Top Swiss Officials Will Attend Bilderberg

ST. MORITZ, SWITZERLAND—Even before AFP's coverage team
finally reached Switzerland's most mountainous area to cover
the annual Bilderberg meeting, things started getting rocky.
It was learned that the nation's current president, Doris Leuthard,
will attend the Bilderberg group meeting, as the local press
revealed, even while trying to minimize the meeting's significance
and downplay her role in it.
Meanwhile, some area media, while they did announce the Bilderberg
meeting, began attacking anti-Bilderberg activists.
However, just as unsettling but far less expected, according
to Bilderberg critics gathering in the Canton of Graubunden for
the June 9-12 Bilderberg meeting, is that the top cantonal civil
law enforcement official, Janome Barbara Steiner, will actually
attend the Bilderberg meeting, at least briefly. This is highly
troubling to many observers, since she was just asked in a letter
from national legislator Dominique Baettig to scrutinize the
secretive Bilderberg group's many rogue members and see who among
them may be wanted for various crimes.
It's not all that unusual for local and national officials
of a host nation to pay the Bilderbergers a visit, but the situation
in Switzerland is different, in that these Swiss officials, in
a nation that prides itself on grassroots democracy, strong sovereignty
and neutrality, were given ample notice by Baettig that Bilderberg
is bad news for Switzerland and the world. Some concerned citizens
protesting Bilderberg see Mrs. Steiner's conduct as a slap in
the face—in a nation that is hanging on to the increasingly
fragile but important traditions for which the Swiss are legendary.
Citing Switzerland's
home rule that frowns on elitist attempts to centralize government
into huge unaccountable structures, Baettig, in his most recent
high-profile letter, asked Mrs. Steiner to deny Bilderberg the
opportunity to meet in Switzerland. In so doing, he pointed out
that Bilderberg members have been involved in war crimes and
other nefarious dealings.
Yet Mrs. Steiner failed to respond and is reportedly attending
the meeting, even though Baettig stressed to her that frequent
Bilderberg attendance by NATO officials, whose aggressive military
actions are killing scores of people in Libya and Afghanistan,
could invite terrorist reprisals against Switzerland.
As AFP has reported, Baettig already wrote to the top federal
law enforcement official, Simonetta Sommaruga, on this matter.
Baettig informed both of these police officials that many
Bilderberg attendees are not democratically elected yet they
meet—while holed up in posh hotels, encircled by armed guards—to
form broad policy objectives.
In the June 4 Engadiner Post, a local paper, Mrs. Steiner
claimed there would be no hindrance to the public during the
Bilderberg meeting. At press time, the possible closure of public
roads around Suvretta House, where the Bilderberg meeting is
taking place, appeared unlikely—unless activists get too
close, as police told them.

Tim Pawlenty's CFR Connection

Tim Pawlenty is in the race for
the GOP presidential nomination, but there's more to his campaign—and
the people behind it—than meets the eye. The former Minnesota
governor doesn't have much charisma. Some even say he's boring.
Pawlenty doesn't have movie-star good looks, nor is he descended
from distinguished GOP "royalty." Instead, Pawlenty
has "regular folks" appeal. One of five children of
a milk truck driver and the first kid in the family to get a
college degree, Pawlenty lost his mother to cancer when he was
just 16 and later worked his way through high school, college
and law school.
After a brief period as a labor law attorney, Pawlenty went
on to serve as vice president of a software company before entering
politics. He and his wife Mary, a former Minnesota district court
judge, have two daughters.
A five-termer in the Minnesota state House of Representatives,
where he was eventually voted majority leader, Pawlenty was elected
governor of Minnesota in 2002 and re-elected in 2006—winning
both contests by narrow margins in three-way races. His gubernatorial
years were notable and quite distinguished in the eyes of conservatives.
Pawlenty balanced the state budget, reduced the growth of spending
and cut taxes. On social issues, Pawlenty is distinctly conservative.
Running for president, Pawlenty is working to present himself
as a tough-talking, no-nonsense candidate. Media reports variously
say Pawlenty wants to appear "bold and decisive" and
as "the GOP's blunt talker."
As such, Pawlenty is adopting hard-line rhetoric, particularly
in the foreign policy arena, that places him in the center of
the warmongering neo-conservative realm. Even as Pawlenty is
asking Americans to accept cuts in Social Security and Medicare
benefits and suggesting we should work longer years before getting
Social Security at all, he's even taken Barack Obama to task
for not charging more forcefully and immediately into the U.S.
imperial military venture in Libya—even as the U.S. budget
is already strapped.
A former Roman Catholic who converted to evangelical Christianity,
Pawlenty is an unabashed supporter of Israel—to which he
made the standard politician's pilgrimage this past December.
Pawlenty recently charged that the Obama administration "has
shown an astonishing unwillingness to stand by Israel at the
UN," a position that will endear him not only to well-heeled
Jewish campaign contributors who bankroll upwards of 70 percent
of all national Republican campaign funds, but also to his fellow
evangelical voters who are steadfast Israel supporters.
Some Pawlenty critics believe his close and long-standing
friendship with former Rep. Vin Weber (R-Minn.)—a key Pawlenty
campaign advisor—does not reflect well on Pawlenty, however.
A member of the board of directors of the Council on Foreign
Relations—the New York offshoot of the London-based Royal
Institute for International Affairs, the foreign policy-making
arm of the Rothschild banking dynasty—Weber is a key figure
in the global elite.
Weber is also a veteran of the now-infamous Project for the
New American Century (PNAC), which once declared the need for
a "new Pearl Harbor" to stimulate American grassroots
support for global interventionism.
During the early 1980s, Weber urged the GOP to become "America's
new internationalist party." As a member of Congress from
1981 to 1993—who retired abruptly after being caught up
in the House banking scandal, where he was found to have written
125 bad checks on his House bank account—Weber engaged in
a scurrilous effort to smear Liberty Lobby, the populist publisher
of the newspaper The Spotlight, for its efforts to focus public
attention on Israel's deliberate attack on the USS Liberty on
June 8, 1967, resulting in the slaughter of 34 Americans and
the grievous wounding of 172 others. (See page 17.)
Weber charged that The Spotlight played a pivotal role in
nearly causing his own reelection defeat after it publicized
Weber's betrayal of the men of the Liberty. The Weber-CFR-PNAC
connection says much about the presidential aspirations of Pawlenty
and is a point that savvy GOP primary voters need to keep in
mind. Pawlenty clearly has some powerful negative influences
lined up behind him.

Arkansas Police, SWAT Badly Cover Up Killings

A year ago, two West Memphis, Ark. Police officers were gunned
down at an 1-40 exit by perpetrators described in an all points
bulletin (APB) put out by a West Memphis Police Department (WMPD)
dispatcher as "three or more Hispanic men with automatic
weapons and dark complexions riding in a white dodge Caravan
with an orange top." An hour and a half later, Jerry Kane,
45, and his teenage son Joe, both Caucasians, who were traveling
across country in an all-white Plymouth Voyager, were attacked
and killed in a Wal-Mart parking lot only a mile away by a large
police SWAT team. The two Kanes were found to be legally carrying
one handgun and one rifle - but no automatic weapons.
The police riddled the man and boy and their vehicle with
hundreds of bullets. The Kanes were blamed for the police killings,
and the investigation was closed- or so the world was told by
the local news media.
It was a strange case from the start and had people wondering
who would be so foolish as to hang out in a small town and shop
at a Wal-Mart only one exit away after killing two police officers.
Then it only got more perplexing as the facts slowly unfolded.
Not only was Police Chief bob Paudert's initial report contrary
to the official story, the official story was actually disputed
by the WMPD's own dash-cam video. Worse yet, that video was not
released until 41 days after the incident and was immediately
dubbed "a fraud" by those with the knowledge and expertise
to spot the discrepancies.
The biggest critic of the West Memphis cover-up is Jerry Kane's
widow Donna,of Clearwater, Fla. Who has sued the city and its
police force. She says her husband and stepson were brutally
murdered in a case of mistaken identity by police overreacting
in retaliation for the deaths of their fellow officers. By doing
so, Kane and his son were killed, then blamed for something they
knew nothing about.
Mrs. Kane filed a lawsuit against Arkansas officials after
amassing a huge pile of incriminating evidence against Chief
Paudert and others who she says instigated the cover-up after
they realized that their SWAT team had killed two innocent people.
Almost a year after collecting incriminating police report
information, contrived dash-cam videos and autopsy reports, Mrs
Kane has exposed the WMPD cover-up and proved it to be so laden
with mistakes that it is hard to imagine that this would be made
available to the public and expected to be believed. This shocking

From the alleged testimony of a FedEx truck driver, that apparently
did no exist when Chief Paudert conducted a press conference
five days after the incidents on May 25, Mrs. Kane has uncovered
the most blatant mistake of all.
On the police dispatch audio, FedEx driver Vincent Brown identifies
the license number as Romeo Papa (RP) 77753, Ohio white Caravan,"
which his female passenger first recites from her notes. However,
Jerry Kane's white Plymouth Voyager's license plate number is
EDE 8396, which is correctly displayed on the photo-shopped dash-cam
video released at the end of June. Now the blockbuster: RP 77753
was Jerry Kane's expired drivers license number. How could a
stranger in another state have such information?
Also, as Mrs. Kane observes, patrolmen routinely call in the
plate numbers on all traffic stops, yet it is obvious from the
recorded exchange within this reenactment that these dispatchers
had no idea who of where these policemen were that had just been
killed.
Mrs Kane says: "The faked audio and video are merely
a creation of false evidence by Bob Paudert and WMPD. The Kanes
didn't kill anybody.

Fed Judge Demands FBI Provide Hidden Data on Bombing

An ongoing court case related to the April 19, 1995 bombing
of the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City has unearthed
how federal law enforcement uses multiple computer systems to
bury key and often damning information that is relevant to cases
with which it is involved.
Thanks to the efforts of Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue and
the attention called to it by AFP, a federal judge has finally
ordered the FBI to explain by June 30 its unknown record keeping
system that manages to hide evidence from defense lawyers. In
addition to its notoriety for redaction of pertinent names, the
FBI has a tainted history of putting information in locations
unknown outside the bureau, making it almost impossible to access
from the outside.
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) process in particular
is greatly marginalized by the agency's deceptive use of these
tactics.
Trentadue's brother was murdered in the Oklahoma City Federal
Transfer Center in August 1995. Evidence showed Kenneth Trentadue
was beaten from head to toe - even the bottoms of his feet were
bruised - yet the death was officially passed off as a suicide.
The medical examiner later admitted that he was coerced by federal
agents to sign off falsely on something that he knew not to be
true. Trentadue contends his brother was mistakenly identified
by the FBI as an accomplice in the Oklahoma City bombing and
was then murdered while he was being interrogated.
Thus began a decade-and-a-half long series of innumerable
FOIA requests that eventually led the Utah attorney onto the
trail of the FBI's falsification of the Oklahoma City bombing
case and its cover-up.
"If it wasn't such an affront to the Constitution it'd
be humorous," said Trentadue "The fact that the FBI
has set up another computer drive with the same purpose but a
different name creates a constantly moving target. You think
you've exposed them and they set up another."
He speaks of the use of shared computer drives accessible
only to FBI agents that was begun in 1996 when the bureau began
keeping files on something known as the "I-Drive."
Trentadue is not the first lawyer to criticize its practice.
It has been a way for the bureau to choose what information is
made public and what is kept secret - even from federal judges
and prosecutors.
The goal of the I-Drive was to have FBI agents file all their
information into one place. A supervisor would then review the
information and decide what would be discarded and what would
go into official FBI files.
While this may appear to be a good way to streamline the massive
amounts of case data gathered by the bureau, some defense lawyers
and judges condemn the system because anything not included in
the official case file is not considered to be available for
court discovery, which means it does not have to be turned over
to anyone outside the bureau and that the bureau can ignore any
FOIA requests that would otherwise apply.
On May 11, Trentadue was in court demanding information from
the I-Drive when a Justice Department attorney mentioned another
computer "hideout" known as the "S-Drive."
Judge Clark Waddoups, presiding over the case in Utah, ordered
the FBI to provide more information by the end of June.
Trentadue is one of many lawyers who say the system is indefensible.
"They do it for two reasons," Trentadue said, "to
avoid handing information over to defense counsel in a criminal
case, evidence that could be exculpatory, and to frustrate the
people making FOIA demands.
"The bureau has its own culture, and part of that culture
is helping the prosecutor out by not messing up the case, by
not giving info that would hurt the case."

Rand Paul Advocates Deportation, Prison for ‘Radical'
Thinkers
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) ran afoul of his Libertarian supporters
when he recently stated on neo-conservative Sean Hannity's radio
show that anyone in the United States who attends a controversial
speech in this country should be arrested and deported.
Paul was talking about profiling terrorists. He said he opposed
profiling anyone based on the color of his skin or his religion,
but he added that it is just fine to detain or deport people
based on their thoughts or with whom they associate.
"You might have to indirectly take into account whether
or not they've been going to radical political speeches by religious
leaders," Paul told Hannity. "If someone is attending
speeches from someone who is promoting the violent overthrow
of our government, that's really an offense that we should be
going after - they should be deported or put in prison."
Not surprisingly, Hannity did not disagree with rand's attack
on Americans' First Amendment right to assemble and hear free
speech without fear of government retribution.

Congress Approves Patriot Act Extension Despite Illegality
Ath the very last minute, Congress approved a four-year extension
of three of the most controversial aspects of the Patriot Act
in spite of warnings from key senators that federal law enforcement
has "twisted" the law into a tool for "secret
surveillance." As AFP reported in previous editions, the
bill had been tossed back and forth between both chambers of
Congress for months before it was passed.
The three provisions give law enforcement the power to conduct
roving wiretaps, to search business and library records with
a secret warrant and to monitor so-called lone wolves, who are
"not connected to an identified terrorist group."
"I believe that when more of my colleagues and the American
public come to understand how the Patriot insist on significant
reforms, too," said Sen Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), who tried to
block the renewal.
The Senate approved the final version of the Patriot Act by
a 72 to 23 vote on May 26. The House passed it the next day with
a 250 to 153 vote, and President Obama sighed it later that evening.

Depleted Uranium: It's A Strange Way To Protect Libyans

In the first 24 hours of the Libyan attack, U.S. B-2s dropped
45 2,000-pound bombs. These massive bombs, along with the Cruise
missiles launched from British and French planes and ships, all
contained depleted uranium (DU) warheads.
DU is the waste product from the process of enriching uranium
ore. It is used in nuclear weapons and reactors. Because it is
a very heavy substance, 1.7 times denser than lead, it is highly
valued by the military for its ability to punch through armored
vehicles and buildings. When a weapon made with a DU tip strikes
a solid object like the side of a tank, it goes straight it,
then erupts in a burning cloud of vapor. The vapor settles as
dust, which is not only poisonous, but also radioactive. This
black dust remains suspended in the air and, according to wind
and weather, can travel over great distances.
Internalized DU can cause kidney damage, cancers of the lung
and bone, skin disorders, neurocognitive disorders, chromosome
damage, immune deficiency syndromes and rare kidney and bowel
diseases. Pregnant women exposed to DU may give birth to infants
with genetic defects. Once the dust has vaporized, don't expect
the problem to go away soon. As an alpha particle emitter, DU
has a half life of 4.5 billion years.
In the "shock and awe" attack on Iraq, more than
1.500 bombs and missiles were dropped on Baghdad alone. Jewish
author Seymour Hersh has claimed that the U.S. Third Marine Aircraft
Wing alone dropped more than "500,000 tons of ordnance,"
all of it DU-tipped.
Al Jazeera reported that invading U.S. forces fired
200 tons of radioactive material into buildings, homes, streets
and gardens of of Baghdad. A reporter from the Christian Science
Monitor took a Geiger counter to parts of the city that had
been subjected to heavy shelling by U.S. troops. He found radiation
levels 1,000 to 1,900 times higher than normal in residential
areas. With its population of 26 million, the U.S. dropped a
one-ton bomb for every 52 Iraqi citizens or 40 pounds of explosives
per person.

Author-Editor Reveals Sarah Palin's Darker Side

of Arc, but a new book entitled Blind Allegiance gives
an insider's view of Sarah Palin's darker side. During a May
27 interview, Jeanne Devon - co-author of this tell-all expose
and managing editor of The Mudflats - described to this
writer how the former governor feeds off adversity.
"She's a plant that needs water," Ms. Devon said.
"Whenever Sarah became a bit complacent, her staff deliberately
produces a negative article and shows it to her. That always
put the fire back in her belly."
Ms. Devon continued: "Criticism acts as a fuel to Sarah.
It's like poking a bear with a stick. She's extremely competitive.
Life and politics are sporting events to her. She really is a
barracuda."
Ms. Devon related how Frank Bailey, Mrs Palin's fixer for
numerous years and co-author of Blind allegiance, witnessed Palin's
outbursts.
"Sarah had these crazy, raging, angry episodes where
she'd be red-faced and slamming things," said Ms. Devon.
"With her volatile mood and temperament, she's not a level-headed
leader who'd calmly lead the ship.
According to Ms. Devon: "Sarah has definite trust issues.
That's why she tends to always change people. If a leak ever
occurred, Sarah would immediately think her phones were tapped
and her emails were being read. She's even plant false information
to catch the leakers."
Apart from her paranoia, a number of scandals were also concealed
during her tenure as governor. Ms. Devon mentioned how Mrs. Palin's
camp illegally coordinated with the Republican Governors Association
to receive an infusion of cash for campaign ads.
Ms. Devon explained: "Alaskan politicians were especially
dirty back then. Then Sarah Palin rode in on her white horse
as a reformer. This information would have been devastating to
her campaign."
To her credit, Mrs Palin did fracture Alaska's "Corrupt
Bastards Club," while at the same time taking on Exxon and
divvying up oil profits for state residents. Amazingly, Mrs.
Palin also cut government spending and pork projects at a time
when they were running a surplus, an act that's unheard of today.
Still, Ms. Devon has misgivings about Mrs. Palin's style,
especially the role played by her husband. "Todd was known
as the shadow governor, part of her inner circle. During a scandal
known as Troopergate, Todd began a smear campaign and dug up
dirt on a state trooper involved in a messy divorce from Sarah's
sister. Todd became obsessed with him, even following the policeman
around on his snowmobile," Ms. Devon said.
She added: "When it comes to attacking their enemies,
it's a joint effort between Sarah and Todd. They definitely share
common traits in this regard."
Revenge seems to play an important role in the Palin's lives.
"I'm really surprised by the amount of time and mental energy
they spend on things that most people would find petty and inconsequential.
But they allow these ongoing vendettas to be mind consuming,"
Ms. Devon elaborated.
As an example, Ms. Devon cited the brouhaha that took place
last year on a television talk show hosted by David Letterman.
"Letterman told a tasteless joke, but Sarah kept manipulating
the situation to cast herself asa victim and stay in the media
limelight," said Ms. Devon.
Mw. Devon also broached the subject of Mrs. Palin's mysterious
2008 pregnancy in her book. Some say the baby actually belonged
to her daughter.
When queried as to whether Mrs. Palin can be elected, Ms.
Devon said: "Sarah is Clintonesque in that she has a commanding
presence on stage. She has this uncanny ability to make it seem
as if you're the only person in the room what she's speaking
to."

Anti-Obama Author Demands Barack's Birth Certificate

Why did billionaire developer Donald Trump make such an issue
out of President Obama's mission birth certificate and then drop
the matter once white House officials released an apparently
fake, computer enhanced version on April 27? During a may 24
interview with the author of Where's the Birth Certificate,
Dr. Jerome Corsi protested to this writer: "I said from
the beginning that I didn't trust Trump. He pumped me for information,
but I never knew who he worked for."
Corsi pressed further, "If Trump were serious, he'd demand
forensic evidence from the state of Hawaii. But the cover-up
is still alive and well. Trump professed to be interested in
this issue, but when presented with crucial information, his
attention span seemed to wane."
On may 25 Trump resurfaced, claiming that his experts concluded
that Obama's long-form certificate was indeed a forged, computer-generated
document.
Corsi agreed, telling Colorado's Greeley Gazette on
June 1" "The white House could not put out a request
for a proposal to get the best forger in the country for the
job. They are stuck with a small inner group. Forging a document
in this day and age is difficult because there are do many experts
who can spot a forgery right away."
Interestingly, on June 1 Douglas Vogt, owner of archive Index
Systems, filed a 22-page criminal complaint with the FBI. Vogt
charges, "I have irrefutably proven that the certificate
of live birth that President Obama presented to the world on
April 27 is a fraudulently created document put together using
the Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator computer programs."
If given a fair chance in court to prove his claims, Vogt
predicted, "It will surpass all previous scandals including
the Watergate scandal of the Nixon administration.

Checks and Balances on Chief Executive Disappearing

Although the financial press speculates about a downgrade
of the US government's credit rating and default if political
impasse prevents the debt ceiling from being raised in time,
I doubt anyone really believes that the debt ceiling will not
be raised. It is just all a part of the political theater of
the next couple of months.
Republicans will blame the budget deficit and accumulated
national debt on Medicare and Social Security. Wall Street sees
billions of profits in privatizing either, and debt rating agencies
will oblige their Wall Street paymasters by opining from time
to time that US Treasury bonds might be downgraded unless "entitlements
can be addressed and the deficit brought under control."
Democrats will say that the budget deficit cannot be addressed
without an increase in tax revenues, especially from the rich
whose incomes have exploded upward while their tax rates have
declined.
All the while the pressure of an approaching deadline for
default will be used to reshape the US social contract, most
likely in the further interest of the rich.
However, regardless of whether the debt ceiling is raised,
the US government is not going to go out of business. Why does
anyone think that the President, who does not obey the War Powers
Act, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, US and international
laws against torture, or any of the laws and procedures that
guard civil liberty, is going to feel compelled to obey the debt
ceiling?
As long as the US is at war, the American President is a Caesar.
He is above the law. The US Justice Department has ruled this,
and Congress and the Courts have accepted it.
Moreover, the Federal Reserve is independent of the government.
In its approach to regulatory matters and bailouts, the Fed has
ceased to follow its own rules. Regardless of the debt ceiling,
the Fed will continue to purchase the Treasury's bond issues,
and the Treasury will continue to fund the federal deficit with
the proceeds. If Goldman Sachs is to big to fail, certainly the
US government is.
As Congress has abandoned its powers over war, how can Congress
hold on to its powers over spending? It cannot. Indeed, an impasse
between the political parties over the debt ceiling would be
welcomed by the executive branch as more proof that Congress
is incapable of doing its part in governing and, therefore, the
task has of necessity passed to the executive branch, which already
does most of it.
If the President can declare on his own authority, without
statutory basis and in defiance of the US Constitution, that
he can assassinate US citizens who he considers to be a threat
to national security, he certainly can declare that default is
a threat to national security and that it is within his powers
as commander-in-chief to ignore the debt ceiling.
Indeed, the executive branch would jump at the chance. Then
it could reshape the budget to its own pleasing without having
to consult Congress on spending any more than the executive branch
consults Congress on war.
The Bush/Cheney regime brought democracy and accountable government
to an end. If Obama doesn't finish the process, the next in line
will.

FDA Threatens Health Food Companies
Food & Drug commissars say we can't tell people
benefits of healthy foods.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) claims that only FDA-approved
drugs provide health benefits, and in its continued assault against
health freedom, the agency has sent warning letters to five different
companies that produce natural treatments and cures for diseases,
because those companies dared to make health claims, many of
which are backed by peer-reviewed, journal-published scientific
studies. This is because, in the eyes of the FDA, there is no
difference between a legitimate, scientifically backed health
claim and a phony, made up claim, as it concerns food and dietary
supplements.
The companies being targeted, MedaVir, Herpaflor, Viruxp Anti-Viral
Support, C-Cure, and Never an Outbreak, made the mistake of telling
their customers about the health benefits of their products without
going through the laborious, multimillion-dollar FDA drug approval
process. As a result, the FDA has accused them all of selling
"unapproved drugs" and ordered them to withdraw the
statements or face further regulatory action.
What is worse is the fact that the FDA has decreed that any
food or dietary supplement that provides any sort of health benefit
is automatically a drug. Ordinary foods like almonds, cherries
and walnuts literally become recategorized as drugs when accompanied
by claims that they cure, heal or prevent disease - and this
is now the law in the U.S.
"While some of the companies market these products as
dietary supplements, these products are all drug products under
the federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act), as they
are offered for the treatment of disease," stated the FDA
in a press release about the supplements. "These drug products,
which are offered for the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases,
may not be introduced into interstate commerce without an FDA-approved
new drug application."
In other words, no food or supplement product can bear health
claim labels without firs gaining the FDA rubber stamp of approval,
and being recategorized as a drug. It does not matter if scientific
studies have verified that an herb, natural substance or food
has health-promoting properties - if the FDA has not first been
paid to approve it, then there is no place for it in the medicinal
realm.
This is why groups like the Alliance for Natural Health are
urging everyone to support the Free Speech About Science Act,
which will end the censorship of legitimate science and restore
freedom of speech to natural health.

The Biggest Lies About Vaccinations

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the vaccine industry
are fronting contradictory logic. "Our vaccines work so
well that they offer almost total immunity from the flu,"
they claim. And yet somehow they also work so poorly that they
"wear off" after a year and require you to be revaccinated
annually.
This is the Great Big Lie of the vaccine industry: the lie
that says you have to be revaccinated each and every year, often
with the exact same strains you were vaccinated with the previous
year. The winter flu vaccines for 2011, for example, are being
manufactured with the same strains as the 2010 flu vaccines.
But if vaccines work so amazingly well, as the CDC and the
vaccine industry fraudulently suggest, then why do you need the
same shot year after year?
Well, according to the CDC, "Vaccines wear off."
Yep, that's their cover story.
Hold on a minute. There's something fishy about this. Human
antibodies normally last a lifetime, remember? That's why you
don't get the chickenpox over and over again. The first time
you got the chickenpox as a kid, your body created chickenpox
antibodies, and those antibodies last a lifetime.
Thus, your immune system offers you lifetime immunity from
the chickenpox.
The vaccine industry falsely tries to claim its vaccines work
exactly the same way: They cause the body to produce antibodies
against certain viral strain. But there's something you're not
being told about vaccines: They don't produce the same quality
and strength of antibodies that your own body would produce from
a natural infection and recovery. That's why the vaccines "wear
off" and leave you with zero protection from the very strains
they inoculate you against.
In other words, vaccines don't work as advertised. And that's
why the vaccine industry has to keep pushing the same vaccine
strains year after year. Because, think about it: If vaccines
actually worked as ostensibly intended, they would give you lifetime
immunity against whatever strains you were injected with, right?
"This year's flu shot will be a duplicate of last year's
because the same flu strains are still circulating," reports
the Associated Press in an article about the CDC. "Government
health officials are urging nearly everyone to get this fall's
flu shot. They say a vaccine's protection can fade significantly
after several months."
Vaccine protection fades after a few months? Well then, vaccines
must not actually cause the body to react by producing its own
antibodies, because those antibodies, we're told, offer lifetime
immunity.
And that explains why the flu vaccine manufacturing machine
is on high output.
"Five vaccine manufacturers announced plans to make between
166 million and 173 million doses for the coming season,"
says the article from Associated Press. That's the highest vaccine
manufacturing output for the United States in the history of
vaccines.
With 170 million vaccines sitting around by the time winter
arrives, the CDC is obviously going to have to kick its propaganda
and fear-mongering into high gear to convince people to buy them.
This is going to be doubly difficult considering the inconvenient
fact that all the people who got vaccinated last year already
received vaccines against these same viral strains.
Ow will they do this?
Its simple: They won't talk much about the fact that this
year's flu vaccine is identical to last year's flu vaccine. They'll
just repeat the lie about vaccines offering near-100 percent
protection against the flu - an insinuation so blatantly absurd
that the FTC should actually charge the vaccine manufacturers
with false advertising.
But her's the other dirty little secret the CDC does not want
you to know: The best way to immunize yourself against a particular
strain of the winter flu is to dose up on vitamin D, boost your
nutritional intake, get healthy and then just to out into the
world and stop worrying about exposing yourself to the flu.

What To Do With Lawn Clippings
Avoid backbreaking digging, planting with ‘lasagna
gardening'

If you have a lawn, then you know that in order to keep it
healthy and looking nice, you have to mow it regularly. So what
do you do with the grass clippings that are a byproduct of all
your diligent lawn labor? There are four main ways to utilize
your grass clippings: Mulch, an ingredient for your compost bin,
an organic layer for a "lasagna garden" and , finally,
as nutrients for your lawn. Let's look at each of these.
Lawn clippings are often used as a mulch material around trees,
plants and shrubs in the garden. Mulch keeps the soil cool and
moist, and inhibits pesky weeds from sprouting. Lawn clippings
make a good temporary organic mulch. They will decompose quickly,
and can be worked into the soil or covered with a long-lasting
mulch material.
Just be sure to let the lawn clippings dry out first before
using them as mulch, and apply only a thin layer of them (no
more than three inches). A wet, thick pile of grass clippings
will turn into a dense mat of smelly, slimy green stuff that
won't do you or your plants any good.
If you have a compost bin or compost pile for the purpose
of making the coveted "gardener's gold," lawn clippings
are a good source of nitrogen-rich green matter. Just be sure
to keep the ratio of brown matter (leaves, twigs, straw, wood
chips) to green matter (lawn clippings, flowers, foliage, coffee
grounds, etc.) at around two to one for composting success. Again.
Let the grass clippings dry out slightly and don't put them on
the compost pile in thick layers.
LASAGNA GARDENING
A "lasagna garden" is a unique method of building
raised beds for gardening by layering different organic materials,
one on top of the other. Author Patricia Lanza coined the term
because the layers reminded her of how cooks make lasagna. You
can use your grass clippings as one of the layers, along with
leaves, hay, compost, straw, vegetable scraps and whatever other
organic materials you have.
As the layers "cook" they break down into nutrient-rich
soil that your flowers and vegetables will love. I've built many
lasagna gardens over the years and always use my lawn clipping
as one of my layers.
Last but not least, you can forget raking up the grass clippings
and just leave them on the lawn to add nutrients back into it.
Just be sure to break up any big clumps and spread them evenly
over the lawn to aid in decomposition. Many people don't like
the look of the lawn with the grass clipping on them, but in
reality they are good for the health of your lawn.
Now, if only you could get someone else to do all that mowing
for you, wouldn't life be grand?

Organic Farmers Looking For Ways To Avoid Pesticides

To till, or not to till? That is the question on the minds
of many gardeners and farmers across the country. It is a debate
over whether to dig into the earth in preparation for planting
or leave it be so that Mother Nature can do the hard work of
building soil structure and fertility over the years.
Traditionally, gardeners and farmers have relied on everything
from manpower to draft animals to tractors to drag implements
through the earth, flipping over the soil, killing weeds and
mixing in fertilizer and other amendments. But a growing number
of people today want gardeners and farmers to stop disturbing
the ground and switch to less-invasive "no-till" methods
that can save money, energy and time.
For the sake of full disclosure, this writer uses a Ford tractor
with a two-bottom plow mounted on the back to turn over the soil
and kill the weeds in the corn and bean field. The soil is then
harrowed to level the ground and breakup any large clumps. After
planting, the rows are then cultivated to keep the weeds down.
In between seasons, a cover crop is planed like winter wheat,
which is then cut and harvested.
But when it comes to the garden, mulch made from leaves, wood
chips and straw is spread liberally around vegetable plants to
avoid the backbreaking and time-consuming job of weeding.
And this points to the problem faced by so many large-scale
organic farmers. While organic no-till methods work just fine
for smaller vegetable gardens, conventional no-till farming methods
typically rely on large quantities of pesticides to manage weeds
and damaging bugs.
As more and more large-scale farmers switch to no-till methods,
the use of pesticides is on the rise. Depending of the source,
estimates for herbicide usage in the United States today range
anywhere from 250 million to 1 billion pounds annually - a 50-fold
increase from the 1940s and 1950s. The end result is that these
chemicals are now showing up more in streams, watersheds, wells
and public water supplies.
Pro-organic institutions, such as the respected Rodale
Institute, are developing new techniques and equipment to
help farmers transition away from tillage and toxic chemicals
with mixed results.
Still, it can be done. The proof comes from the fact that
Rodale's "organic no-till revolution" is spreading
across the country, as more and more farmers turn away from the
Faustian deal they have been making with corporations like Monsanto
and go back to the days when they were the ones responsible for
managing their land without polluting the environment.

Fluoride and Your Thyroid Health

It has been more than a decade since the FDA admitted that
fluoride was not a healthy additive to the human system, but
little has changed since. Pharmaceutical propaganda continues,
water systems remain fluoridated and fluoride-free toothpaste
is unavailable at supermarkets and pharmacies. Now there is mounting
evidence that this is the prime cause of the rapid rise in hypothyroidism
in recent years.
European scientists discovered eight decades ago that adding
minute doses of fluoride to bath water was successful in treatment
of an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) because it inhibited
the thyroid gland's function. Therefore, minimal amounts could
regulate the overactive thyroid to normality.
This being true, it takes but an elementary deduction to determine
that massive daily doses could probably lead to the underactivity
known as hypothyroidism. And currently 70 percent of Americans
have this thyroid-blocking chemical forced upon them every day
without their consent.
Florida author and medical researcher Mary Sparrowdancer says,
"We might drink bottled water, but most of us cannot avoid
the bath water, and damaging the thyroid will produce a plethora
of symptoms affecting the entire human body from head to toe."
The thyroid gland is known as the body's "thermostat."
A dysfunctional thyroid can cause symptoms including edema, kidney
disease and failure, depression, premature aging, unprovoked
aches and pains, skin problems, bone deformities (likely including
"arthritis" and spontaneous fractures), sexual dysfunction,
memory loss, fatigue, heart disease and even cancer. And long
after the whole body has been damaged, there still is little
or no evidence that teeth cavities were in any way prevented.
Ms. Sparrowdancer writes: "For the U.S. government, long
partnered with the pharmaceutical industry, to then force this
same treatment on a nation of people with healthy thyroids under
the lie that fluoride ‘prevents cavities in children,' is
unconscionable."
Meanwhile, the fluoride promoters are not capable of engaging
in an honest and logical debate about fluoride because they have
no real facts or clinical evidence showing that fluoride prevents
cavities.
With that in mind, we focus on the people of Kentucky, the
state with the highest percentage of fluoridated water in the
nation. It also ranks first for the worst dental health scores
in the U.S. relating to cavities in children and complete toothlessness
in its adults, as well as No. 1 in the incidence of cancer.
Of course, as AFP readers know, hexafluorisilicic acid (more
commonly called fluoride) is a toxic poison - a byproduct of
the aluminum-making industry. Having millions of human beings
ingest it is much more cost effective for big business than having
to dispose of mega-tons of this hazardous material. Thus the
constant push by the pharmaceutical-industrial complex to hide
the ill effect of this poison.

Globalists Call For 'Big War'

ST. MORITZ, Switzerland—The secret globalist group "Bilderberg"
called for a big war by expanding the turmoil in Libya into a
full-scale conflict involving the entire Middle East except for
Israel. This is a grim and bloody outlook, because, historically,
every time Bilderberg orders war, the guns begin to shoot. In
1991, President George H.W. Bush followed orders and attacked
Iraq in Persian Gulf War I. He lost to peace candidate Bill Clinton,
who followed orders and invaded Yugoslavia.
The list is endless: Every war dating back to and including
World War II has been ordered by Bilderberg. Although they did
not start calling themselves Bilderberg until 1954, Rockefeller
and Rothschild cronies had the ear of President Franklin Roosevelt
when the White House baited the Japanese into conducting a surprise
attack on Pearl Harbor on Sunday, Dec. 7, 1941.
Similarly, President Harry Truman was pressured into going
to war in Korea, and then Lyndon Johnson involved the U.S. in
Vietnam.
Johnson seemed to enjoy cruelty. The same draft law used in
World War II had been revived in 1946, making all able-bodied
men aged 18-38 eligible for combat. A college student could finish
his degree but must then report for duty. As a matter of policy,
LBJ said students could finish their entire education, including
postgraduate work, before reporting. And no one older than 27
would be drafted. The result: Dick Cheney and others avoided
service by remaining in college until the age of 27. So the body
bags were mostly filled by young boys with no more than a high
school education.
"It will have to be a big war involving several countries
to advance our goals of a global economy," said Keith Alexander,
director of the U.S. National Security Agency. "But the
pressure to end the war in Libya is non-stop, mostly because
of that damn Kucinich." He was referring to Rep. Dennis
Kucinich (D-Ohio), whose bill to end the invasion of Libya was
defeated just before Congress adjourned for a week on June 3.
"But look at all the votes [148] he got," Alexander
said. "This is dangerous. Congress may cut or even eliminate
war funding, and our soldiers are not even fighting."
Bilderberg's goal of expanding the turmoil surrounding the
invasion of Libya into a huge bloodletting in the Mideast will
be helped, they say, by their plan to maintain the global recession
through 2012.
"The recession may keep coverage of Bilderberg down,"
said John Kerr, a member of the British House of Lords and deputy
chairman of Royal Dutch Shell. "Europe has many independent
papers, but they go low-budget. We have made calls to Rupert
Murdoch, still our good friend," he said of the world's
largest owner of newspapers.
Kerr and the others were to be bitterly disappointed when
confronted by angry crowds as their helicopters landed at the
resort on Thursday, June 9. Most had planned to arrive Wednesday
afternoon, after leaving their "cover meeting" of NATO
countries in Brussels, Belgium. But frequent, heavy rains kept
the copters grounded. Bilderberg traditionally has a "cover
meeting" so, for example, outgoing Defense Secretary Robert
Gates can attend a NATO session and slip, unnoticed, into the
Bilderberg meeting. Gates addressed Bilderberg on Friday, June
10.
Gates had said the same things to the NATO crowd he later
said at Bilderberg, calling for more aerial combat actions by
allies even as the United States confines itself to a backup
role. Gates called for more effort by the Netherlands, Spain
and Turkey and urged Germany and Poland to join the war.
Gates's hour-long speech at Bilderberg was mentioned by The
Financial Times. His audience, however, was described only as
a "gathering of dignitaries." He said the European
NATO members face "the very real possibility of collective
military irrelevance" as a superpower unless they contribute
more money and troops.
Washington has frequently requested, "with exasperation,"
that European NATO countries meet the alliance's benchmarks for
defense spending, Gates said and called the situation in the
current campaign in Libya "unacceptable." He said "the
blunt reality is there will be dwindling appetite and patience
in the U.S. Congress—and in the American body politic—to
expend increasingly precious funds on behalf of nations that
are apparently unwilling to devote the necessary resources to
make the necessary changes to be serious and capable partners
in their own defense."
NATO has degenerated into a "two-tiered" alliance
with the United States and a small group of European allies doing
the tough jobs while others benefit from NATO's protection without
bearing a fair share of costs and risks, Gates said. "This
is no longer a hypothetical worry," Gates said in one of
the harshest speeches ever delivered at Bilderberg.
When Bill Clinton, a Bilderberg attendee, was president, NATO
became the UN's standing army, operating anywhere in the world
on the orders of the Security Council. Under the UN, NATO invaded
Yugoslavia. Under its charter, NATO is a defensive army only.
But the first weapon fired in anger was an offensive war under
direction of the UN.
Bilderberg has forgiven Barack Obama for hesitancy about what
is now "his war." They understand the political delicacy
in Washington but, as one said, "he's a good soldier and
he'll follow orders."
Obama was praised for doing Bilderberg errands on his visit
to a summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in
Hawaii. A major Bilderberg goal of establishing a world government
is to create an Asian-Pacific Union following an American Union,
both patterned after the European Union superstate. Even as Bilderberg
gathered, OPEC nations were following orders to keep oil prices
pumped up to assist the goal of raising U.S. prices to $7 a gallon.
While making clucking sounds about holding down prices, OPEC
allowed a slight, momentary dip as a public relations gesture.
But Saudi Arabia maintains 3 million barrels a day of spare
capacity. This did not fool Frank Verrastro, director of the
energy program at the Center for Strategic and International
Studies, which is traditionally a Bilderberg collaborator.
"I think there's going to be a lot of theatrics, but
beyond that I don't think it affects the outcome," Verrastro
said. "If OPEC becomes less cohesive, that means each country
goes its own way on production."
"All these countries need money," said Fadel Ghett,
oil analyst at Oppenheimer & Co. "They will produce
as much as they can get away with without destroying demand."
The French agreed in principle to subscribe to new issues
of Greek sovereign debt to replace maturing bonds if all creditors
do the same. The move could provide a way forward for involving
private creditors in a Greek rescue program. But it falls short
of a German demand for them to agree voluntarily on an extension
of bond maturities. The French proposal echoes the thinking of
the European Central Bank, which claims that a rollover of Greek
debt, rather than a "reprofiling" with extended maturities,
would be a good way for private creditors to be involved in a
new deal. French banks are among Greece's largest creditors.
But the German government reaffirmed its determination to
persuade bondholders to contribute more to a rescue. They called
for a seven-year voluntary extension of maturities.
Jean-Claude Trichit, president of the European Central Bank,
told fellow Bilderbergers that Europe needs a "Eurozone
treasury secretary" with independent authority over all
EU banks to avoid further crises like those of Greece, Ireland,
Portugal and Spain. There is no time, when a crisis erupts, for
the nations to come to a voluntary agreement, he said, because
such a treasury department would have to act swiftly and with
authority to impose bailout actions.
There was modest attention to China and Japan, relative newcomers
to Bilderberg. In response to the explosions in Japan's nuclear
power plants, there was talk of imposing global rules on safety
inspections. On China, there was talk of enjoying huge profits
by bringing materials from slave-wage countries in Africa to
be made into finished products by Chinese labor (itself relatively
cheap).The finished product would be sold in the United States,
where unemployment rates unofficially exceed 15 percent.
Craig Mundi, a Microsoft executive, complained about China
establishing rules that favor building electronic gadgets at
home and selling them without foreign competition. Another who
Bilderberg tried to hide by keeping his name off its "official
list" was Bill Gates, a self-made billionaire computer nerd
who founded Microsoft.

Freedompalooza Is Coming On July 2-3

Some 20 speakers, 20 bands, plus two days of patriotism and
truth-telling. It's called Freedompalooza, and on July 2-3 it's
rolling into one of the historic birthplaces of America, Kintnersville,
Pa.
On June 8, this writer interviewed Paul Topete, frontman for
the political rock band Pokerface and originator of Freedompalooza.
"We envision this festival as the patriot's version of
a traveling truthstock," said Topete. "We have something
good to tell America without any fear that it's coming from mainstream
media sources."
One of the featured speakers will be AFP's own Jim Traficant.
Topete explained why the former Ohio representative was a natural
fit. "There are so few congressmen who even know what America
is any more. After Traficant introduced the Taxpayer's Bill of
Rights, he messed with the government's money, so the government
put him in jail."
Other notable names to appear at this and future dates include
Jim Condit, 9-11 activist Manny Badillo and self-described "enemy
of the state" Larken Rose, a former political prisoner that
has engaged in many battles with the IRS.
Topete spoke with obvious pride when referring to his guests.
"This festival is for us. Those who attend Freedompalooza
will hear more truth in one place than they'll ever hear in their
lives. We're going to entertain them, and everyone will leave
a little smarter."
Since a handful of Tea Party websites are promoting Freedompalooza,
AFP inquired as to his thoughts on this political force.
"We had a great relationship with them until people like
Glenn Beck took over," Topete remarked. "We played
a July 4 event in Washington, D.C., but then they got neo-conned
by groups like the ADL and turned into a controlled opposition
movement."
As AFP readers can tell, they won't hear this kind of straight
forward, no nonsense talk at other political functions or at
their county fair. That's what makes Freedompalooza so different
from any other summer event. The musicians are politically minded,
speakers such as Traficant refuse to back down, and as the driving
force behind these festivities, Topete shows a courage exhibited
by few in our world today.

Uninvited Politicians Fail to Crash Bilderberg Meeting

ST. MORITZ, Switzerland—Anti-Bilderberg rally attendees
gathered on the evenings of June 10 and 11 at the quaint Hotel
Randolins above the Bilderberg group's meeting place—in
order to hear three national lawmakers and others speak about
Bilderberg, and about Switzerland's attempts to retain its sovereignty
and cultural/national identity.
The June 10 rally featured Swiss National Council member Dominique
Baettig, who became internationally known for writing letters
to two top Swiss law enforcement officials, asking that Bilderberg
not be allowed to convene in Switzerland (AFP, June 6, 2011).
It turned out that his requests were unsuccessful, but he
earned plenty of plaudits for his tenacity. So, Baettig led a
group of 40 activists on foot to the Suvretta House hotel around
11:15 p.m. to request admission into the Bilderberg meeting.
As a respected Swiss lawmaker, he wanted to know what the attendees
were discussing.
But while Swiss President Doris Leuthard was inside among
the Bilderbergers with other select Swiss nationals, Baettig—a
member of his nation's largest political party, the Swiss People's
Party (SVP)—was denied entry after police called and asked
if he could enter.
"I just want to see what they are talking about, and
maybe have a drink at the bar," Baettig remarked, just before
he approached security to request admission. Notably, another
legislator tried to enter. Mario Borghezio, an Italian representative
in the European Parliament, reportedly was roughed up and arrested
by Bilderberg security upon trying to enter Suvretta House on
June 9. In a phone call with AFP, Swiss police admitted Borghezio's
arrival, and confirmed he had been detained, questioned and released.
After he was denied entry into the Bilderberg meeting, Baettig
noted: "We tried to enter . . . it's a sorry state for this
country."
A resolute guy with a gentle persona, Baettig intended to
inquire on whether longtime Bilderberger and former U.S. Secretary
of State Henry Kissinger was in town and, if he was, press forward
with convincing Swiss police to arrest Kissinger and have him
extradited to Spain to face war-crimes charges.
Baettig was joined at the June 10 rally by two fellow SVP
legislators, Lucas Reimann and Pirmin Schwander. They both rapped
Bilderberg and spoke for Swiss sovereignty, but some wondered
why they did not accompany Beattig to Suvretta House despite
ample opportunity to do so. Several rally attendees agreed that
three legislators would have presented a united front, making
Baettig's Bilderberg-entry request harder to deny.
Had Baettig been allowed in, that would have been a first
in Bilderberg's history. Reimann did say on the radio show hosted
by Alex Jones, as confirmed later by AFP in a chat with Schwander,
that Swiss legislation exists to get Switzerland out of the International
Monetary Fund.
Meanwhile, there have been allegations that longtime SVP member
Christoph Blocher has rubbed elbows with Bilderberg and might
not uphold SVP's resistance to Swiss incorporation into the EU.
Two Swiss activists familiar with their nation's affairs told
the AFP team upon its arrival in Zurich that there was a lack
of confidence in young Toni Brunner, another prominent SVP member
who, they fear, might succumb to pressure to surrender Swiss
traditions.
Speaking before a rally on June 11, this AFP writer stressed
to the enthusiastic attendees that Switzerland plays a key role,
due to its central location and proud traditions of neutrality
and peace, to stop the full consummation of the European Union.
A copy of AFP's Bilderberg Files, a booklet of news clips,
correspondence and other materials detailing Bilderberg back
to its founding in 1954, was circulated to politicians and activists
to show the history of this globalist gathering. (See page 12

‘American Exceptionalism' Just More NWO Rhetoric

During the 2012 election campaign, you'll probably be hearing
a lot about "American exceptionalism," particularly
from the Republican presidential candidates. Newt Gingrich has
made the concept a centerpiece of his campaign, and Gingrich's
wife—the current one, that is—has produced a documentary
on the topic. Mitt Romney's campaign book is entitled No Apology:
The Case for American Greatness. Sarah Palin's book, America
by Heart, has a chapter entitled "America the Exceptional."
And former Sen. Rick Santorum and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty
have also been heard touting the topic.
But don't be fooled by rhetoric that has a lot of patriotic
appeal. In fact, the concept of American exceptionalism—
and a related theme known as national greatness conservatism—are
really modern-day propaganda masks for old-fashioned Trotskyite
communism: rapacious imperialism and internationalism now wrapped
in the American flag, but no different from the age-old dream
of a world imperium—a global government.
Many call it the New World Order. The wizards who conjured
up these themes are three key figures in the so-called neo-conservative
movement:
• William Kristol, founding editor of The Weekly Standard,
long published by Zionist billionaire Rupert Murdoch;
• David Brooks, a former Kristol underling at the Standard
and now a columnist for The New York Times, and;
• Marshall Wittmann, a Jewish Trotskyite-turned neo-conservative
and regular Standard contributor. Kristol and Brooks began their
crusade for national greatness conservatism with a Sept. 15,
1997 Wall Street Journal article that urged Americans to "reinvigorate
the nationalism of Alexander Hamilton, Henry Clay and Teddy Roosevelt."
And during the 2000 presidential campaign, Wittmann chimed
in with a lengthy piece in the Standard promoting John McCain,
hailing McCain as a tribune of national greatness conservatism
and as a modern-day Theodore Roosevelt.
Although many remember the first President Roosevelt as a
symbol of American greatness, the ugly truth that the controlled
media ignores is that it was "TR" who—even before
Woodrow Wilson —began calling upon the American people to
sacrifice their lives and treasure in the cause of global conquest,
ostensibly in the name of bringing peace to the planet.
This is not nationalism. It is internationalism, advancing
the theme that the United States should act as a world policeman
promoting some undefined dream of democracy, which has now become
the rallying cry of the modern Zionist-Trotskyite schemers.
So TR was an internationalist, and no true American nationalist
should look to TR as a model of American greatness. Yet, TR's
spirit is said to underlie national greatness conservatism and
American exceptionalism. More recently, in the Nov. 12, 2010
issue of The New York Times, the aforementioned Brooks—sounding
the call for a new centrist movement in American politics—
claimed that a national greatness agenda would be promoted by
"the next big social movement."
Brooks said this national greatness agenda would reject the
views of "orthodox liberals and conservatives" and
end "hyper-partisanship." He added that "the coming
movement may be a third party or it may support serious people
in the existing two" and preserve American supremacy—that
is, global interventionism. And don't think it was—as the
media has suggested— just a reckless misstep by Newt Gingrich
when he criticized the Medicare reform package of Rep. Paul Ryan
(R-Wis.) saying, "I don't think right-wing social engineering
is any more desirable than left-wing social engineering. I don't
think imposing radical change from the right or the left is a
very good way for a free society to operate."
The truth is that Gingrich's rhetoric—attacking both
the right and the left in the same breath—was deliberate.
He was clearly portraying himself as one of the centrist advocates
of American exceptionalism, echoed by other recent comments by
Gingrich proudly recalling his many years as a Rockefeller Republican.
Don't be surprised—you heard it here first—that
if he fails to win the GOP presidential nomination, Gingrich
will be part of a breakaway centrist third party movement which
has been conjured up at the highest levels of the establishment
elite.
AFP—alone among the media—has been reporting on
this phenomenon.
Another disciple of American exceptionalism, Yale Professor David
Gelernter—another Weekly Standard figure—has promoted
the idea that
Americanism is a modern-day incarnation of Biblical Zionism and
that Americans have "a divine mission to all mankind"
and that "every human being everywhere is entitled to freedom,
equality and democracy."
In a book grandly entitled Americanism: The Fourth Great Western
Religion, Gelernter expressed the contention that the United
States (the base of what he has called American Zionism) is now
charged with an imperial, even God-given, duty to remake the
world, that Americanism is the creed of this global agenda, that
this "Fourth Great Western Religion" is the driving
force behind—and which must establish—a new planet-
wide regime. He wrote:
We are the one and only biggest boy in the world today. If
there is to be justice in the world, America must create it.
. . .We must pursue justice, help the suffering and overthrow
tyrants. We must spread the creed. This is the New World Order.
And this is the underlying theme of national greatness conservatism
and American exceptionalism. But there is nothing American about
it. So don't be fooled by what sounds like patriotic rhetoric
from the Republicans. It isn't.

Congressional Report Condemns DOJ's Tragic Project

A 51-page joint House and Senate report just released confirms
what AMERICAN FREE PRESS has been reporting since January: A
"reckless" program approved by Attorney General Eric
Holder's Department of Justice (DOJ) to facilitate sales of over
2,500 "assault-style weapons" to U.S. gun buyers in
order to identify members of trafficking networks who funnel
these weapons to Mexico's deadliest drug cartels, was responsible
for the death of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agent Brian
Terry and will lead to many more deaths in years to come.
The report, titled "The Department of Justice's Operation
Fast and Furious: Accounts of ATF Agents," prepared for
Rep. Darrell E. Issa (R-Calif.) and Sen. Charles E. Grassley
(R-Iowa), identified a procedure called "gunwalking,"
which simply means that law enforcement allows suspect buyers
to walk away with the gun, as the main culprit of this "hapless"
operation.
Interviews with agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,
Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) comprise the bulk of the report,
accompanied by several incriminating emails from the agents'
superiors. "Fast and Furious" was an operation associated
with the lead project called "Gunrunner."
AFP reporters Pat Shannan, Victor Thorn and Frank Whalen have
been covering this story since two AK-47s were found near Terry's
lifeless body near the border between the U.S. and Mexico in
December 2010. Some of the weapons that the cartel conspirators
were allowed to walk away with included "AK-47 variants,
Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifles, .38 caliber revolvers, and
FN Five-Seven" tactical assault pistols.
Shannan posited that this fiasco provides more evidence to
"close down" the BATFE. Thorn showed how Gunrunner
has added to the violence in the Southwest, possibly aiding in
the "murder of U.S. ranchers and lawmen, a beheading in
Arizona, Hispanic sex slaves being transported into states such
as Georgia, kidnapping children and trafficking in human organs."
Whalen goes further, postulating that the ultimate aim of
Project Gunrunner is more stringent gun control. The refusal
of Holder's DOJ to fully cooperate with this investigation and
President Barack Obama's "implying a need for more gun control"
while "in Mexico on April 16, 2009," while Gunrunner
was in full swing, seems to add weight to this theory.
Typically, all the mainstream media, except CBS, either ignored
or downplayed this explosive story, as it was again left to AFP
to dole out the truth to its readers. As the report sadly notes
in the section on Terry's murder:

of knowingly allowing the transfer of guns to suspected straw
purchasers. BATFE now maintains it no longer condones this dangerous
technique. The cessation of this practice will likely save lives
on both sides of the border. Tragically, however, we will be
seeing the ramifications of the policy to allow guns from Fast
and Furious be transferred into the hands of suspected criminals
for years to come. These weapons will continue to be found at
crime scenes in the United States and Mexico.

Bilderberg Secret No More

St. Moritz, Switzerland - The globalist group known as Bilderberg
gathered Jun 9-12 in this small, picturesque town. For the first
time ever, though hundreds of activists and journalists were
there to greet them, holding multiple rallies over the course
of the weekend with the intent of exposing the world's top elites
to public scorn.
Bilderberg luminaries were speaking loudly and profanely about
patriots in Europe and the United States who have been exposing
their secret meetings for years. they expressed their anger getting
off airplanes and while entering their meeting site.
"If we are to accomplish or goals of population control
and a balanced world economy, a major war in the Mideast is a
necessary, if cruel tool," said Richard Perle of the neo-conservative
American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research. "The
current fighting must expand to cover the entire Mideast except
for Israel."
"But these [expletive] characters who force this into
the European newspapers make our mission difficult," said
Carl Bildt, former prime minister of Sweden. "I hope we
can avoid them this year, but I am not optimistic. Look how hard
they make it for Obama. He's a good man, but he has to pretend
to be unhappy about Libya."
"We must find a way to hold our meetings so these [expletives]
don't find out," said a Peter Sutherland, chairman of Goldman
Sachs International and a leader of both the Trilateral Commission
and Bilderberg. "Perhaps we could arrange it so the guards
are not visible outside and members trickle in over a period
of time in private cars without the windshield decorations. but
some of our pompous guys, like Henry Kissinger, would be unhappy."
Bilderberg boys typically arrive inn long, black limos with
police escorts, blaring sirens and with a special sticker in
a corner of the windshield.
Justice Secretary Kenneth Clarke, a Conservative member of
the British Parliament and longtime Bilderberg luminary, is banned
from this year's meeting according to The Guardian of London.
He must have done something naughty.
Bilderberg, for a bunch of crooks, is sensitive about having
criminals in their midst. That's why George Soros(still a good
friend) is banned and recent IMF chief Dominque Strauss-Kahn
will never be back.
Years ago, this paperboy challenged Clarke, eyeball to eyeball,
on Bilderberg. He admitted that the goal was world government
and a common currency.
Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, who helped found bilderberg,
was banned soon after because of his Lockheed bribery scandal.
Queen Beatrix has continued attending all these years.

Bill Clinton Proposes Agency to Monitor Internet

Former President Bill Clinton has proposed the creation of
a new federal Or UN agency to regulate the Internet. The agency,
which resembles the Ministry fo Truth in George Orwell's classic
1984, would have a mandate to determine whether individual or
organizations on the Internet were publishing untrue material.
They would them correct it, either by publishing their own version
of the truth, or potentially arresting, fining and imprisoning
those who do not conform to its version of truth.
In a recent television appearance with Zionist Mati Kochavi,
Clinton floated the idea of introducing a federal cyber-truth
expert.
"I think it would be a legitimate thing to do - to set
up some sort of agency and independent federal agency and their
mandate would be to identify relevant factual errors on the Internet,"
Clinton stated.
This proposal is the latest round in an almost two-decades-long
war waged by liberal and Jewish organizations to control content
published on the Internet. During Clinton's first term, the Simon
Wiesenthal Center and Anti-defamation League floated proposals
to create a government agency that would regulate Internet truth
and prohibit most non-commercial speech.
In 1996, Rabbi Abraham Cooper issued a statement entitled,
"Wiesenthal center Calls on Internet Providers to adopt
Voluntary Standards of Ethics."
Cooper stated, "The Internet should be purely for commercial
purposes" and urged Internet service providers to refuse
"racists, advocates of violence or homophobes" access
to the net.
"Traditionally, print and broadcast media around the
world have refused to provide these groups with a platform for
their propaganda, and they have refused to allow these groups
to manipulate them in the name of the first amendment,"
Cooper said in his press release. "Radio and television
executives and newspaper editors have long understood that the
First amendment protects our citizenry from interference by the
government, but does not obligate media channels to publish or
distribute materials they consider false, inflammatory, hateful
and unfair. It is the Wiesenthal Center's position that such
an understanding should extend to the Internet as well."
Internet regulation has become a priority for the federal
government. Today, the American system is based on manipulating
masses of people into believing they possess power and freedom
while tightly regulating their lives through sophisticated methods
of social control. If these methods were to break down, the present
American government could not stand. Thus, it is important for
the governing powers to create and regulate a common mythology
that provides guidance for the way people lead their lives, including
regulated alternative lifestyles that do not challenge the status
quo.
In most Western countries, liberal groups have pressured parliaments
into passing laws outlawing information and ideas they find offensive.
However, such efforts have failed in the United States, and regulation
through centralized control of access hasn't been effective because
of low costs involved in gaining access to the Internet. Over
the past 10 year, Jewish groups have targeted high-profile political
opponents in the name of "fighting terrorism." This
process began with the arrest of historian Ernst Zundel and continues
today with the imprisonment of free-speech lawyer Edgar Steele.

Why Is U.S. Government Moving Installations to Center
of Nation?

The world is going through changes, not just geopolitical
changes, but those that have the potential to transform the very
topography of our planet. The United States is not immune from
such tragedies and has recently seen a precipitous rise in its
own extreme weather events. Deadly tornados, monstrous hurricanes,
droughts, torrential rains and severe flooding along the Mississippi
and Missouri rivers have plagued states from north to south,
forcing evacuations and wreaking untold billions of dollars in
property damage. While many are quick to blame these violent
Earth changes on human-caused "global warming," there
could be another explanation.
Global warming as promoted by Al Gore and the National Oceanic
and Atmospheric Administration [NOAA] is a hoax," says John
Moore, producer of the 2008 documentary Global Warming: What
the Government Isn't Telling You. "It's subterfuge, the
purpose of which is to obfuscate, confuse and misdirect people
from what is really going on."
Moore is a former Green Beret and graduate of the U.S. Military
Intelligence School. He is now a licensed private investigator
and hosts a daily radio show on the Republic Broadcasting Network.
On June 9, Moore spoke with AFP to discuss what he believes
to be the cause of these planetary changes.
"The government's cover story is that the planet is heating
up due to human activity, says Moore. "They came up with
this cover story to give people hope that we could slow this
down, none of which is trued, of course.
Since the spring of 2000, Moore has conducted interviews with
researchers, scientists, Navy veterans and a former U.S. intelligence
officer whose testimonies share a common thread. Moore claims
that all give reference to what is commonly referred to as "the
Tenth Planet," Wormwood or Planet X. Nibiru is another name.
Moore said this large Planetary body and its quarter-million-mile
debris field, allegedly first spotted by NASA's Pioneer 10 space
probe in 1979, makes its way through our solar system every 3,600
years. As it gets closer, it interacts with the Sun and the planets.
Earth thus receives increased amounts of electrical and solar
wing energy.
"This causes all sorts of problems," says Moore,
"like violent climate changes, rising ocean levels, 200-mile-an-hour
winds, earthquakes, volcanoes and so forth."
In the late 1980s, while serving in his official capacity
as the supervising astronomer for the U.S. Naval Observatory,
Dr. Robert S. Harrington appeared in a videotaped interview at
his office in Washington, D.C. and spoke about wormwood in frank
terms. He described it as a planetary body three to five times
the size of earth with a massive iron-nickel core.
In 2005, Moore's research reached a critical turning point
when he debriefed Steven Canfield, a retired veteran of the U.S.
Navy Submarine Corps. Canfield claims to have participated in
a classified military briefing in 1985. According to Moore, "At
that briefing, they were shown a map of America with new coastlines.
The Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific coasts are all flooded anywhere
from 50 to 100 miles inland, and the Mississippi Valley is a
river 50 to 100 miles wide and a couple hundred feet deep.
That same year in 2005, Moore penned a paper entitled "No
Need for Panic," which can be accessed on his website, TheLibertyMan.com. In that
paper, Moore wrote about the Guld Stream being fragile and at
risk of stoppin altogether. As predicted - but well ahead of
schedule - the Gulf stream did stop in 2010.
"The engine that drives the gulf Stream is the salt content
of the ocean, says Moore. "For decades, melting fresh water
ice from Greenland and the antarctic has been reducing the salt
content of all the oceans and the Gulf Stream. As the salt content
is reduced, the mass and velocity of the Gulf Stream is being
reduced as well."
Moore blames BP's recent oil spill on the early collapse.
He states, "The gulf loop current was broken by the oil
spill. It has not restarted, and scientists such as prominent
Italian theoretical physicist Dr. Gianluigi Zangari have said
it won't restart."
While the government has been close-lipped about preparations
for catastrophes, there are indications that infrastructure relocations
are well under way.
Moore states, "If you look at the locations of FEMA camps
around the nation, you'll notice that only a coupleare located
in coastal regions. All the rest are inland."
That's not all. In2005, the CIA announced that it would be
moving its domestic operations from Langley, Va. To Denver, Colo.
In 2009 the NSA announced that they would house their new computer
mainframes in the desert outside of Salt Lake City. NASA has
also decided to move many of its coastal operations to inland
"safe areas." The Plum Island research facility - which
conducts sensitive biological experiments on an offshore mound
of dirt - is now being relocated to the heart of Noth America:
Manhattan, Kansas.

World Facing New Super-Bug Strains of Diseases

The media attention and global panic about a particularly
nasty food-borne bacterial out break in Germany and abroad could
be more revealing than the powers-that-be had hoped. Already,
some are discussing the possibility of biological warfare, and
by all accounts there could be something to that allegation.
The current case has sickened almost 3,000 people in nearly
two dozen countries, with the death toll at 33 in Germany alone.
At least 722 people have been diagnosed with hemolytic-uremic
syndrome, which can cause kidney failure and even death.
This particular strain of E. coli is unique in that
it's causing neurological issues among victims in what might
be the worst outbreak in history.
The German newspaper Der Spiegel quoted Dr. Daniel
Wertheimer from the Schon Clinic's Neurology Center in Hamburg
as saying, "We were all looking at the kidney symptoms first.
But perhaps enterohemorrhagic E. Coli will eventually go down
in history as the pathogen that caused serious damage to the
central nervous system."
This variant of E. coli is also unusual because it
is antibiotic resistant. Was this particular strain of the common
bacteria engineered and then released into the food supply? That
is the shilling question some people are asking.
By using fear, writes Mike Adams, the publisher of the Natural News website,
those behind the plot could exploit people's concerns to take
"total control over the global food supply and outlaw raw
sprouts, raw milk and raw vegetables."
He adds: "This particular E. coli variation is a member
of the O104 strain, and O104 strains are almost never normally
resistant to antibiotics. In order for them to acquire this resistance,
they must be repeatedly exposed to antibiotics in order to provide
the mutation pressure that nudges them toward complete drug immunity."
Adams of Natureal News continues, "The simple truth is
that the world is now facing a new era of global superbug strains
of bacteria that can't be treated with any known pharmaceutical.
They can all, of course, be readily killed with colloidal silver,
which is exactly why the FDA and world health regulators have
viciously attacked colloidal silver companies all these years.
They can't have the public getting its hands on natural antibiotics
that really work. That would defeat the whole purpose of making
everybody sick in the first place."
Adam's colloidal silver claim is supported. International
Health cites a patent granted to the manufacturing process of
their ""Super Silver" product. The results indicate
that the 32 parts per million silver embodiment of this invention
shows an effective bactericidal effect for pathogenic E. coli.
This reporter also sought advice from Chip Bemis, owner of
the Water Evolution, LLC, who suggests an E. coli study
published by the National Institutes of Health. According to
them, E. coli infected sprouts showed a "91.1 percent
and 99.8 percent reduction when treated with electrolyzed oxidizing
water."

Congressman Weiner May Be Hiding Darker Secret

News that Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) sent several private
text messages to a 17-year-old Delaware girl forced the seven-term
Democratic congressman to resign on June 16.
Weiner, pegged by the mainstream press as a rising star and
an American Israel Public Affairs Committee favorite son, headed
for the exits quickly after news of the underage connection surfaced.
After a local police investigation of the minor's computer files
revealed those messages to be "harmless," some observers
are questioning whether a more serious, possibly illegal act
was about to be revealed, such as child pornography or pedophilia.
Weiner has close ties to the largest Jewish childcare agency
in America, Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Ohel Children's Home and family
Services. Ohel, which receives millions of dollars in federal
and state funding, has a sordid history in reporting suspected
cases od sexual abuse to American authorities.
The most notorious is that of pedophile Rabbi Avrohom Mondrowitz,
who fled to Israel in 1984 and remains there, as U.S. authorities
have been unsuccessful in their extradition attempts. Several
independent investigations report that Mondrowitz has abused
perhaps hundreds f children, buth Jewish and Christian. Ohel
continued to send children to Mondrowitz, although the boys complained
bitterly about abuse.
Sources familiar with the matter feel that Jewish religious
law may be foiling American law enforcement from filing similar
criminal charges against the center and other suspected individual.
The collective body of Jewish law, Halacha, prohibits mesira
- informing the authorities on fellow Jews. In theUnited States,
child sexual abuse is illegal in every state as well as under
federal law and requires reporting any reasonable suspicion of
abuse to the authorities.
Weiner's relationship with Ohel resulted in the congressman
securing an additional $300,000 for the agency in 2010, on top
of the millions in taxpayer dollars it receives annually. According
to the newspaper The Jewish Star, Ohel's former director "personally
contributed $6,240 to Weiner's political campaigns."
Weineris also a follower of the ultra-Orthodox "rabbi
to the stars" Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, a "self-proclaimed
kabbalah scholar who puts death curses on his critics,"
according to the New York Daily News.
The daily adds that the rabbi regularly tells his "wealthy,
largely Israeli, followers" to host fundraisers for Weiner
and support him financially.
Pinto is no stranger to trouble. Pinto's townhouse is facing
foreclosure, one of his close associates was outed recently as
a wealthy pornographer and a target of one of his curses died
after he mysteriously threw himself out of a 19th-story window
last June.

Sock Up On Edison Light Bulbs While You Can

Cut down on energy usage, save the planet - and slash your
electric bill. What could be better? It seemed better than Girl
Scout cookies - until the facts were checked. As usual, when
the government promises to save you money and make your life
better, hold on to your wallets, and hide your wife and children.
The feds mundate that Edison's tried and true light bulbs
will be forbidden after January 2012. The new 100-watt light-emitting
diodes (LEDs) will be scarce - and will cost about $50 each.
This summer you should be able to get 75-watt LED-equivalent
from big-box hardware stores for about $45. Right now you can
buy a Philips 60-watt equivalent bulb for around $40 - but it's
slightly dimmer than a 60-watt incandescent bulb. Sylvania sells
a similar LED bulb at hardware stores, also for $40.
But LEDs "last forever," so in the long run it's
worth it, right? Well, the little red LED that lets you know
an appliance is on or is in your clock radio, probably will last
indefinitely, but it doesn't provide much light.
The problem with LEDs is that although they don't produce
as much heat as incandescent bulbs, the heat they fo generate
reduces their efficiency - and shortens the lifespan of the lifespan
of the LEDs.
One solution by Philips uses "remote phosphors"
to achieve greater efficiency, but it is not known what the spectrum
is, visible or invisible, or what the effect is on comfort or
health. Another idea is tiny fans to dissipate the heat. However,
this uses more energy, causing light to flicker. There are a
number of companies working on technical solutions, but none
has solved all the problems with LEDs.
In a new University of California, Irvine study, it has been
revealed that LED lightbulbs advertised as "green"
or "eco-friendly" are actually laden with arsenic,
lead and other hazardous chemicals.
Other technologies have even bigger problems. Organic light-emitting
diodes are glowing sheets instead of pinprick light sources like
more traditional LEDs. So far, they are an expensive novelty
used in some smartphones.
Compact fluorescent lights contain the neurotoxin mercury
vapor, which is released if they break or are improperly thrown
away. According to the European Commission Scientific committee
on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks, these pose an
added health risk due to the ultraviolet and blue light emitted
by such devices. The European commission also stated that more
research is needed to establish whether compact fluorescent lamps
constitute any higher risk from ultra-violet and blue rays.
If individuals are exposed to the light produced by some single-envelope
compact fluorescent lamps for long periods of time at distances
of less than 10 inches, it could lead to ultraviolet exposures
approaching the current workplace limit set to protect workers
from skin rashes, cancer and terminal damage.
MERCURY POISONING
In the past decade, hundreds of Chinese factory workers who
manufacture compact fluorescent lights, or CFLs, for export to
first world countries were being poisoned and hospitalized because
of mercury exposure. Examples include workers at the Nanhai Feiyang
lighting factory in Foshan, where 68 out of 72 were so badly
poisoned that they required hospitalization. At another CFL factory
in Jinzhou, 121 out of 123 employees were found to have excessive
mercury levels, with one employee's mercury level 150 times the
accepted standard, according to published reports.
Scientists in Germany have claimed that energy-saving bulbs
should not be left on for long periods of time or placed close
to a person's head because they release poisonous materials.
They should not be used by adults to read or kept near a child's
head all night.
The harmful substances include phenol, a deadly poison, as
well as the toxins naphthalene and styrene say the researchers.
Tests showed that the materials used to make the lamps are probably
responsible for their potentially harmful side effects.
The U.S. Environmental Protection agency estimated that when
all 270 million compact fluorescent lamps sold in 2007 alone
are sent to landfill sites, this would represent around 0.13
metric tons of mercury.
